Tonight, while flying home from Orlando, I needed a tow for a 100-mile trip home. I had originally booked another company but was unsure if the driver would arrive on time. Although my original driver did show up, Moody's Wrecker Service was incredibly kind and understanding of my situation. I truly appreciate their professionalism, and I would highly recommend their service.
Our recent with Moody’s Wrecker Towing Service was disappointing. After my clients car was towed, he found it had been damaged and broken into, with his music equipment stolen. was given multiple conflicting stories about what happened or could have happened. The amount was also disputed on how much the equipment was worth. While the owner wasn’t unpleasant, my clients concerns weren’t properly addressed. Instead, was just told to contact the police. Overall, a frustrating and unprofessional situation.

If you would like to receive proof of what I said earlier regarding the “lies” send me an email and I’d be more than happy to include the necessary documents. Ordinarily, I would not respond to these allegations but seeing as your “Customer service” representative earlier was so rude to my family I have time today. Also my car being left on the side of the road as less than nothing to do with the lies your service told my family. Again feel free to email any request for the necessary details. I went to pick-up my stolen/recovered truck today from Moody's. They were very kind and helpful, and the truck was in great condition. Great job, guys!
Terrible reception staff. Very combative and unwilling to help customers- very rude. We had a very complicated time trying to deal with the receptionist in the front behind the glass in the front. She told us one price and once we were able to get the money together, she changed the price. Needless to say, we called the police, and it was resolved.
My vehicle was towed by Moody's Wrecker Service on Friday, January 10th, at the request of the College Park Police Department. Upon arriving at Moody's to retrieve my vehicle on Tuesday, January 14th, I was met with a series of infuriating and unacceptable events.
First, I was forced to endure a freezing cold wait outside for over 30 minutes, as Moody's inexplicably prohibits customers from waiting inside. Then, the AAA tow truck driver, called to assist me, discovered my vehicle was dead. Apparently, while in Moody's custody, my car, which was running when towed, had suffered a dead battery. This suggests a complete lack of care and potentially negligent handling of my vehicle during their possession.
To make matters worse, the customer service at Moody's was beyond appalling. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful, refusing to acknowledge any responsibility for the dead battery. When I requested to speak with the owner, I was met with the astonishing response that they do not speak to customers. I was then forced to pay the towing fee using Apple Pay on my rapidly dying phone, as they offered no alternative payment options. My phone subsequently died, leaving me stranded with no way to contact an Uber. The representative, seemingly more concerned with expediting the process, urged the AAA driver to quickly load my vehicle, citing the presence of another tow truck driver who allegedly worked for the local police.
To add insult to injury, on Friday, January 17th, my dealership called to inform me that the battery was completely dead and needed to be replaced at a cost of $550. This confirms my suspicion that the battery issue originated while my vehicle was in the custody of Moody's Wrecker Service.
This entire experience was a nightmare. Moody's Wrecker Service demonstrated a complete disregard for customer service, a lack of accountability for their actions, and an overall indifference to the inconvenience and financial burden they caused me. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs. I will be pursuing legal action through small claims court to address this issue and ensure they are held accountable for their negligence.
EDIT - RESPONSE TO MOODY
Lets be factual and not just spew out things as a reaction! Had you looked at my paperwork it should have noted my car was towed because I didn't know my insurance had lapsed and the officer gave me a short window to get insurance/get a tow. I obtained the insurance and the tow coverage within 45 minutes -- $600 -- but by the time I finished Moody had arrived. I was there for the entire process - never left - never abandoned my truck. Moreover, my vehicle had a FUEL LEAK which does not equate to a dead battery according to Dodge who currently has the vehicle. Payment was not the issue but ubering around and getting to my final destination with no way to stay warm or charge my phone but need to pay using my phone is a little unsettling, no? None of my personal is your fault. That said, you said a lot but all you proved was that Moody placed a rude, unprincipled, unconscionable representative at its front line... proving my point.
Lets go back to your version though -- I left my 2021 Dodge Durango on the side of the road with keys in it and the police towed it so Moody came to save the day. It was leaking fuel and running but in the process of this, Moody made sure said vehicle was off in its entirety but when another tow truck picks up said vehicle battery is now completely fried because of the customer. Ok - got it. Thank you for your time and understanding. Have an amazing 2025 and please try to do better business in the process.
I see why this business has a terrible rating, The most unprofessional and rude people you will ever encounter. Notice how all the reviews are saying the same things. The lady who told me she was the manager had a bad attitude over the phone and in person, not pleasant at all. The owner is just as unprofessional and rude. Staff is untrained, even though it was an accident by a young kid they have working there, he hit my company work truck while still in their lot. Didn't do much damage only scratched it but he clearly hit the car. The owner came out saw the picture of him hitting it and was unprofessional about it. Attitudes are terrible! First review I have ever done in my life, they are black owned business and I’m a black business owner myself running box trucks here in Atlanta so I hate to say anything negative towards any business but they are terrible. I never complained once about the fees or anything, I just wanted to pickup the company vehicle without the attitudes. I wouldn’t recommend using this company. Customer service is not there at all.
This is an unfortunate post, because I've been on a streak of being about to post good reviews. The only positive I experienced was the level of security to obtain my car. However, the fact that this place does not offer an alternative to pick up a stolen vehicle and I was out of the country for over a week, I think no longer aligns with protecting the customers best interests. Some may say, why would you want to do, because if I can authorize my car to be picked up by my father or the method I used, the insurance company so assessments and repairs can begin, then why not, allow the insurance company to verify and do so. Companies must move with the times.
Even worse experience, I read in the reviews, about a lady with a nasty and imprudent attitude. How is your job forward facing via in-person and over the phone and you are what appears to be, consistently upset with customers who enter a distressing situation or circumstance. Yeah, it's not lady rudeness fault a car ended up there, but it never killed anyone to show empathy and compassion in a situation. She must be related to the owner, there's no way someone else would allow lady rudeness to bring their business down in such a way. What I would say to her and the owner, related or not, you're only going to behave traumatized towards others so long, no one has to hurt you, God can, you can have a heart attack, trucks confiscated, lady rudeness or the owner could get sick, a paperwork mishap could land you at a loss or in jail, lose a kid and never be the same. I want people to stop mistreating others and trying to get over on others, just because they have a business or contract. No one is invincible from God, karma, university or whatever you believe in. Be kind to people lady rudeness, bc that could be the doctor, nurse, surgeon, lawyer, judge, or the sibling of said people, and what if they treated you and your family the way you treat people daily.
Owner, get her a Bible and some therapy, bc there is no way 1 person should suffer in that type of anger and project it daily. I don't wish this business the best. I wish the people who have to experience lady rudeness, a better experience.

Fast, Friendly service with a smile! Tabatha was able to book towing service quickly, efficiently, and we were fortunate to have someone out with only the drive time to get to us and no further wait time to remove an abandoned vehicle left on private property. The tow driver, Kalel arrived promptly and did a very professional job in picking up the vehicle taking the utmost care in handling it as it was loaded on the truck. No one ever wants to be in a place of needing a tow but if I ever do, I’d totally use Moody!
My car was taken here after a wreck. I was rushed to the hospital from the scene so unfortunately I could not have anyone to pickup my things until the very next day. When they arrived, my brand new $260 Sony headphones that were still in the box were REMOVED from the box and they left it empty. I proceeded to complain to a gentleman that answers the phone and of course, no remorse and I'm sure they know who did it. It is SAD that you can not have your things taken care of for 24 hrs without having to worry about HORRIBLE employees that clearly care nothing about people! I HATE IT HERE!!!!!! Please do not allow anyone to take your car here!

** Update: Aftet going back and forth with the general manager, Kevin Greene (very RUDE individual). Turns out, they turned away my insurance company's tow ppl stating my car was already picked up. I'm calling trying to find out how and who picked it up. Although the information was provided through multiple calls.... IT WASN'T EVEN MY CAR!!! His response to this is "Give me an hour to look for your vehicle... it's not going to make a difference to the insurance company bc they're not going to send someone right back out.." Just completely rude and not empathetic at all to the fact that THEYYYY made the mistake!!!
Unfortunately our car was towed for parking in a wrong spot. Didn't find out until 6am and immediately called Moody's Wrecker Service. The lady that answered the phone was so very nice and told us to make sure to bring our ID, provided the address and told us it would cost $230. We went there provided the info and got the car. Had a nice conversation with the guy in the Wrecker yard also. Several hours after leaving I discovered I couldn't find my debit card. I knew she gave it back. I called and she said she would look outside. Sure enough it was lying on the ground outside. My second trip there was just as pleasant. These are the nicest people ever.
Terrible customer service . Police had to be called just to dissolve a situation that could have been avoided with proper communication skills and professionalism. Would not recommend this company’s services to anyone.
Terrible customer service my daughters car was towed by college park police and when she went to retrieve it they we’re being so rude and unprofessional they just better pray my daughters car is still in tact when she picks it up I’ve heard bad thing happen when you leave your car here 🤦🏾♀️ THIS PLACE IS A JOKE..!!
