Lied about cost of diagnostic. Tried to hold onto my vehicle under false pretense that the tow company had a ring tone of repo.! It was a personal dislike for one to another, had nothing to do with my vehicle Don’t trust them

I had a fantastic experience at Solo Motorsports. I upgraded the center muffler on my Porsche 911 and it was done seamlessly, and professionally. Despite it being a busy day right before the long weekend, they were able to get it done same day and even stayed open past closing so I could pick it up. Highly, highly recommended!

Solo Motor Sports took great care of my car! I needed a new oil pan and plug . They kept me informed the whole time. I would definitely recommend them! The staff was friendly, professional, and informative.

So where do I start.. my car has been a head ache. I replaced the wheel hub assembly 3 times including the one done by solo. I called them in the morning had my car in and hour later. They went over everything step by step and Clarke was on top of it throught out letting me know what is going on through out. I had a speed sensor put in after the mechanic I took it to broke my brand new mercedes sensor. Got my car back 2 days later. My abs light off and skid light. The car drove better. It was a bit expensive but it is mercedes so you pay what you get it. I still hear faint sound so Clarke told me bring it back and we can take a look in a respectful tone, instead of being rude after getting calls all day. I don't right reviews unless I feel the place is truthful and fair, and solo checked both boxes.

Not only was this shop a pleasure to work with , their honesty , transparency and expertise will make them my first recommendation to all of my friends . Whether you need routine maintenance or performance work , the team at this shop is advanced far beyond any Euro shop in Atlanta . Anthony did a great inspection and diagnosis of my vehicle . Alec is one of the most knowledgeable and stand up service writers I have ever communicated with. I myself was a service writer at an auto shop for 5 years in California so I’ve met a lot of people through employment and personal experience . You don’t need to look any further than here for the right place for your vehicle . STOP taking your car to the STEALership !!

Wow, what a professional shop and a great staff who are also real European car enthusiasts! So fortunate to have this shop right here downtown without having to travel to Buckhead or Johns Creek! I will be back soon and have already referred the shop to some friends!

I had recently moved and bc the reviews here were great, I took both of my MBs here. My 2000 ML430 charges included $600+ labor to replace my headlight assemblies (I provided the parts) and as shown in pics below they didn’t replace the bottom parts (pic 1) nor do the headlights work properly (pics 2,3,4 .. running light, low and high beams respectively). I asked for one headlight replaced bc it didn’t work on low beam and alas still doesn’t & worse than it was 😠. Also $500+ ‘inspection’ for things they knew they couldn’t repair, but alas charged me anyway (and I seriously question whether it was even done). I also found the fuse panel cover on the passenger floorboard 🤷🏻‍♀️ (pic 5). A total of $4k! For my 2001 SLK, for $1800 they changed the oil, replaced my alternator ($960), and a new battery (tho one would think for $415, they’d have put new bolts on vs the old rusted ones (sigh)). I also paid $450 for a detail & had to clean the hard to get to areas, and the trunk wasn’t even vacuumed! And lastly, the convertible worked before the alternator died, but didn’t work after I picked it up…could’ve been that it was just time to replace all the hydraulics, but after the ML I seriously question if it was coincidental. They also logged my mileage at 85267 when it’s actually only 52670 🤦🏻‍♀️. The SLK went directly to Revolution to repair and now the ML will have to go to fix the headlights and make sure the other things they said they did were done at all, and if so we’re done properly. Obviously I’ll never go there again, and recommend either Revolution or Rocco’s with whom I’ve had positive experiences.

These guys are my “goto” shop! wether it’s performance mods, general maintenance, even a engine swap, they never let me down! Clarke is great to deal with, the techs are very knowledgeable. They have a guy who specializes in rover/jaguar so skip the stealership and try these guys!

First time customer here. My Audi A3 dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with many indicator lights coming up at different times over a period of several days. Needless to say I was pretty freaked out. Before finding Solo, I consulted Dr. Google and many folks said it was probably a battery issue. So I went to a mass retail battery place and while the battery did need replaced, it didn’t fix the problem. I found Solo and called and they got me in the next day. First thing is that they said the battery place installed the wrong battery, so they got the right battery and then discovered that a sensor in one of the wheels was dead and was causing a bunch of crazy miscommunications between the various electrical systems. I took my car in two days ago and got increasingly anxious about getting it back before the Hurricane Helene storm came through last night. These guys were great and got my car back to me fixed and ready to go before the storm hit. Special shout out to Clarke Steele, who not only explained everything in detail every step of the way, but remained extremely patient and professional with anxious me through the entire process. The price was very fair as well. I will use these guys from now on and highly recommend!

Tuned my 992 carrera stage 2 from them and always come here for my regular maintenance after the tune at Atl location . Huge shoutouts to Alec, Anthony and clark, very professional!! They know what they're doing !!

EDIT: My normal contact at Solo has reached out to me and made the situation right. Mistakes happen and I appreciate how a company handles them. I have edited to bring the review from 2 stars to 4 stars and I genuinely think the company would have made it right even if I hadn't left the review. I am leaving the initial review as reference for the situation I’ve had good experiences in the past, but very poor this time. I came in for two tires, knowing that the price was a little higher, but also having experienced good work from them in the past; I was happy to pay. Got there first thing and the offered for me to wait. I agreed and then it took them two hours to change the two tires. All the while I can look through the window and see the mechanics on their phones and one smoking a cigarette near the car. I finally get the car back and it smells like smoke inside. I’m letting it air out, but when brought to the attention the manager just apologized. Not a premium experience fitting of a more expensive place. I don’t doubt that they can do good work. But was not impressed this time.

I have a pimped up old Porsche Cayenne S with 120,000 miles on it and needed to replace the worn control arms. Clarke Steele and Alec Wichman were great in advising me and accomodate me ordering the parts and having them delivered to the shop and perform the install. They took great care of me and my car, adjusting the new coil overs I had them install, after I found the dampening was a little too light for the kind of urban terrain (atrocious potholes) I regularly traverse. Highly recommend this crew and location.

I have taken my 2014 Audi s4 with over 105000 miles on it to Solo Atlanta 3 or 4 Seperate times now for an array of jobs including the audi 3.0S Infamous Thermostat and PCV job, and each time Solo has delivered back to me a perfectly capable car with zero faults alongside complimentary fluid Restocks. While work on exotic cars is expensive and can be time consuming, this is true anywhere you go and I feel you get what you pay for with Solo atlanta. They also offer Proprietary High Power Tune options for the 3.0 TfSI and other motors. The Staff seem to be highly knowledgeable about individual cars and can answer owner's questions about parts, Maintenance, Tuning and the like, Id say every European car I will ever have will be taken to solo for Work.

These guys no what they are doing. I learned from my mistake, when I had my car service by a local mechanic, and butchered a simple job installing a 5” intercooler. The minute I brought my car to Solo Motorsport, and did all the work and issued my BMW back to me and test drove, I knew there and then it was right. The team at this location in Atlanta, they are A-1. Alec kept me informed, fixed all the issues, and had recommended my front suspension to be done, and I he did it right. I will always have my BMW serviced here from this point on. Keep up the great work guys. I’m very pleased, and have answered all my questions. 🙏🏻🙌👍Be safe… I had the 535i E60 listed above, and unfortunately lt was declared totaled. No fault on my part, so took the opportunity with claim and purchased the 335i E90, and I’m in aww with the car. I have had it diagnosed by solo and all it needed was a tune up, and it ran well stock. I have since then had solo update a few performance parts and it’s extremely reliable and geeks great on the road. I will always have my car serviced at solo. Those guys are amazing at the Atlanta location. Ty.

Overall it’s worth the cost for me and they use genuine parts, super fast install times, and detailed. Best part. Their not afraid to give you recommendations even if it doesn’t benefit them. Top Notch 1st Class Service!! Had my Mercedes E350 in recently for brake service. I just have to give hats off to Alec and his team.
