Horrible Service. Charged me $563 for parts and labor on a Coolant issue. Had problems a week later Had to Tow it to them (out of my pocket) got charged $200 to repair it again. And AGAIN I was stranded for the same problem. Had to tow the car to my house. And now I have to pay someone else to fix their poor lack of knowledge this all happened with in 3 weeks. And im over one Thousand dollars for THEIR mistakes!
Hassan, Salman, and Mohammed were a very big help, and did exactly what I needed, and more at a great price. Were very respectful and honest. I will definitely go back in the future and recommend others.

I had such a great experience here!! Hassan and his team did an amazing job helping me out with my car. They went above and beyond, and made sure everything was running perfectly before I left. It’s clear they really care about their customers and take pride in their work. I felt completely taken care of and will definitely be coming back for any future services. Highly recommend!!
I do not recommend this place. The employees are rude, they overcharge for their services, and they did an alignment on my vehicle that turned out bad. They refused to fix the problem.
I was referred to this shop and this was a really good referral! It’s not easy finding a good mechanic but these men are amazing!! Hassan took the time to show and explain to me what the issue was with my vehicle, what needed to be done to fix it, and they fixed it. They provide high quality work and the pricing is very fair for the service you receive here. If you want honest, experienced mechanics who care and provide quality service I suggest you check them out!!

0/10 Was the most slowest place ever!! so unprofessional made me wait 6 hours just to get my power steering pump in! wasn’t updating me on my car til i said something & got oil prints all on my floor! literally my worst experience ever
They are very prejudiced my son came to the shop yesterday to pick me up and the guy working said is that your ride ma’am. I said know that’s my son he than said is he a drug dealer. I said no he’s not and why do he have to be a drug dealer he owns a couple of restaurants. He then said owning a restaurant doesn’t make that much money. I will never go back there and I will tell people not to go just because We’re black we have to be drug dealers. Some black ppl do make a honest living
WOMEN BEWARE. They will lie to you and take full advantage.
I came in to get my front brake pads replaced — simple, right? Before they even started, I told them clearly and repeatedly that I wanted to see the old brake pads BEFORE they put the new ones on. Not a complicated request.
Then the check-in guy comes back trying to upsell me, saying my rear brake pads ALSO need to be replaced. I asked the price and was told $300 total. I agreed — again, repeating that I wanted to see the old pads before the new ones went on. At this point, I’ve asked THREE times.
I wait about an hour. I let them know I was going to run across the street real quick, but I still wanted to see the old pads before they finished. Was told i had time because it would be about 40 mins. I was gone maybe 15 minutes. When I came back — the car was DONE and that’s when they finally hand me the old pads. AFTER the new ones are installed.
I took pictures and sent them to my dad (who’s a mechanic unfortunately just had surgery so he couldn’t do them himself). The back brake pads did not need replacing(see picture). They lied. Period.
Then — surprise! — the bill is now almost $450. They tried to sneak in a brake fluid flush without telling me. When I called it out, suddenly they offer me a “discount”… which still leaves me paying $400 for something I came in expecting to cost around $160.
Absolutely shady, manipulative, and disrespectful. I feel completely scammed. If you’re a woman — especially one who doesn’t know a lot about cars — they will absolutely try to take you for a ride.
I will NEVER come back.
In March 2025, went to this shop to get some work done on my 2018 Ford Explorer. I had my breaks and rotors done. I also mentioned to the owner of this shop that a clicking noise was coming from the engine and if he could run a diagnostics test. He later informed me that it was the harmonic balancer and he could order the part and fix the issue. After a few weeks he called me to bring my truck to install the part. I went Friday and dropped off my truck he said it would be fixed the next day, to come by around noon and it would be ready. Went at 1pm, the owner stated he needed more time so I said I would be back later that evening and I arrived around 6pm and to my surprise it was not ready.He said the part ordered by him was not the right one, he put the old one back on. He called me another couple of weeks later to bring my truck in to install the part and I dropped off my truck and once again he stated it would be ready the next day. I went the next day a total of 3 times and not only was my truck not ready but he said it was the wrong part again! By this time I was frustrated and asked for a refund due to the owner giving me the run around and constantly lying to me. Went to 3 different shops which one of them was a Ford dealership and they all gave me the same answer that it was not the harmonic balancer but only a belt issue. They stated the harmonic balancer was tampered and damaged by the previous shop I took it to. I paid 1700 for the part at the Ford dealership. After a month and a half the dealership called me that they were unable to find the part due to it being on permanent back order and could no longer keep searching for the part. I was refunded my money for the part and the dealership advised me that I may need to buy another vehicel in time due to the part not available. I later found I out that Coit Auto Shops mechanics are not CERTIFIED but are apprentices. This shop ruined my truck and now I have to find another vehicle due to them tampering with the part. I highly recommend you don't go to this shop and if you do BEWARE of tampering/damaging your vehicle. This shop does not even deserve one star. Only reason why I waited so long to write the review is due to waiting for all the shops to give me the diagnosis. This place is a complete zero and piece of crap!!!!
10/10 Absolutely Recommend!!! I called randomly and explained my situation and they didn't hesitate to help me, I was sent two tow truck recommendations instantly and they were done before I got off work. The owner is amazing, the work done was fast and my car is back driving perfectly, the price was fair and the customer service here is TOP TIER! I won’t be going anywhere else for my car service.
Great mechanics and very good quotes with quality service. Really like the friendly and nice nature of all people in this shop. Certainly recommend for any car work for sure. Try and you will be happy.
**SCAM ALERT** I waited 3 hours then was told I had to come back 2 hours later. After the job was done they refused to honor my Groupon due to it being a weekend, charging me double what I should have paid and now I have a Groupon that is non refundable so I’m out of my pocket over $100 for a 2-wheel alignment. No where on the Groupon does it state week days only. They are scammers and act like they can’t speak English when they don’t want to answer your questions
Came in for an alignment. Purchased the voucher through Groupon. When I drove off after the service was allegedly finished, I noticed my car was still drifting to one side. I went back and asked them for the print out the alignment report. Every shop is supposed give you a print out after the service is done. They did not. They claimed their printer was “out of ink”.
They told me they would take a look at it. 30 mins pass by and they haven’t touched my car. I walk around the shop trying to find someone to talk to but they all seem to avoid me. I finally wave someone down and they tell me to come back the next day and they will “take care of me”.
I went to another shop to get the alignment corrected and after seeing the measurements from their alignment report, realized there was no trace of a prior alignment done. I was scammed. They are deceitful and dishonest people. Will never come back to Coit Auto Repair.
May 2022. I went to make my AC check and tune-up before the summer arrived, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Raphael and his crew are so professional. They gave me the options for my AC. The results were excellent when it was 95°F outside in my car, which is 42-44 °F. I want to thank everyone at SpeeDee for their fantastic job. The bottom line is that I enjoyed coffee and watched TV in their waiting room while waiting. Attached is a video of my car performance (yes, I put a thermometer to prove it)
Updated on July 2024: The AC is still super cold. Summers in Texas are typically 105 to 110°F, while I still enjoy 42 to 44°F in my car.
No one's ever happy about having to take their car in, but these guys are at least straight shooters when it comers to repairs and service. Hassan runs a good shop with great service.
You don't get the impression he's bsing you to just to make a sale or get you to fix things that you don't really need to fix. He's worked on my car multiple times now-- even polishing up a repair for me free of charge-- and explained to me lots of things about properly maintaining my vehicle in the future. I don't think he's doing this to make money off me-- the guy just knows about cars and cares about cars.
Maybe the most important thing is that these guys are much cheaper than the other two auto shops close by.
Good service, straight shooters, and cheaper prices. This'll be my go-to auto shop for as long as I'm in Dallas.
Scammed me, I paid for a service ahead of time for them to refuse service and refused to refund me. The “manager” also refused to call his higher up or give us their name and number. DONT COME HERE AT ALL COST.
First time using this shop. They were quick (had control arm bushings, brakes, alignment and oil change done) in a day. Very affordable, great customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back to them for tires and repairs!
The best part about this shop is that they actually care about their customers. They are polite, professional and make you feel like family. They are not just trying to take your money but actually solve your vehicle issues. I am so Grateful for Hassan and his team.
Today I had a bad experience at this place. I got this place through a Groupon deal to do my oil change. I decided to give myself the opportunity to try a new place and what a mistake! The place was quite dirty and poorly maintained. The workers there don't know how to make you spend more, they wanted to change anything to my car so they could charge me more. When I left they told me that I had to pay $15 more when I had already paid everything through the Groupon app, they told me that I had to pay it, because it was an extra fee without further explanation. My only option was to pay them, so what's the offer? If I am supposed to be using a coupon to save $20 and they are charging me $15 as an “extra fee”. Really don't come back to this place. If you are thinking of coming here please don't. I already have experience that it is more worth paying $20 in a place where they are honest and know how to do their job
