Right part but not the nice clean refurbished one they sent me picture of.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I purchased an ABS module that was supposed to come pre-programmed, but when it arrived, it clearly wasn’t. I reached out to their customer service for help, but they were unresponsive and completely unhelpful. It’s obvious they are not customer service oriented — they don’t seem to care about resolving issues once they have your money. On top of that, their prices are much higher than average. I later found out they overcharge for parts that you can easily find elsewhere for less, and the quality doesn’t justify the cost. The entire experience left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you’re considering buying from them, be cautious — they don’t deliver what they promise, and their lack of accountability is unacceptable.

Beware beware beware, I am in Dallas. I ordered a part from them, apparently from their New York City location. It was rusty, absolutely unusable cost me $30 to return it. Now. I'm out $430, 2 and a 1/2 months. They will not answer my calls anymore. Do not order from this company. Oh fun fact. They have a location here in Dallas. When I\nDrove there.It's just a small post office box , so they're scamming the american people

They were very fast and friendly to help assure I got the correct part. When I got the part and I was still having issues they had a new one set my way immediately. I would recommend them to anyone! They also are fast to responding! I will definitely be going through them again!!!!!!!

Beware! Do not do business with this crooked company! They sent me a defective part. I returned it with their RMA process to get a refund with tracking number. They confirmed receipt and promised to refund my credit card. Called again, they said they could not refund and sent a check. Check was never received. Multiple email and phone requests. No response. This resulted in a liss of over $400. Then they had the audacity of billing my credit card again without me ordering anything. I caught that charge within 60 days so credit card refunded that amount This company is crooked and defrauded me! Do not do business with them!

Great customer service experience. They did not have the exact part I needed at this time when they thought they did. They issued a refund and communicated well with me. They have a new customer in me!

Total scam artists. Purchased an abs module/pump that was supposed to be new and programmed. Have text messages from salesperson stating they do not sell used or junk yard parts. The part was actually delivered from a junk yard here in Dallas and was not programmed. I was told they would refund money to me for programming.....chasing them and get endless emails saying they are working on the refund. Now, emails are not being responded to. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!!! All the positive reviews you see are because they offer a 5% discount if you leave a 5 star review before they ship your USED JUNKYARD part!!

My old Hyundai needed a part and the Hyundai service near me could not get it. I found this company and they had the part! I am so happy with their great service as it saves me from having to purchase a new car. Great place when you need parts.

Only dealt with through email and phone conversation. But they were very helpful and help me find the correct part for my needs. Part was installed at local Honda dealer and programmed to the car with no issues and all lights on the dash are gone. Very pleased with this product so far and the great service and warranty that was offered.

I have ordered a Engine Computer on 20/06/2025, which was returned immediately. In the first place they remain refused that they received the computer back and after putting the receipt of return by USPS, they confirmed that they have received and the return will be processed in due time. Every time I have called them the get up the call, after getting the order number, put on hold and never attended. At last, on 20/08 I got them on email to put the story there, as they claimed that they were just about to send the money and money was not going back to your account. All that story tail. Every time I called them, the different person attended the call but the voice is same all the times. Now they claimed that they send a check to my location which was never received and they don’t have any proof with them to submit (what a lovely upset).. They are very pathetic and non-trust worthy company, they will just sell you the product and then will flew away. Never call you back, beside the promises. It’s October 2025 and still no refund is received.

I've bought 2 abs modules from this company. Both times they lied and told me they were programming my vin number into the module. Neither abs module was vin matched (2 different vehicles) even though they charged me an additional fee JUST FOR VIN MATCHING. Also I expected the module to be used but not for it to look like it was freshly chopped out of a junkyard car. If you cannot perform VIN matching, THEN STOP OFFERING IT AND ACCEPTING PAYMENT FOR IT! Best thing I can say is that I paid for an ABS module and they gave me that. They lied about the Vin matching and they let me pay them for that also two different times.

I called talked to at least two, three people with different names but same voice. Told them what I needed and they said they would check with their “warehouses”. They found the part and after a week, it finally shipped to me. The call center is in Dallas, Texas. My part was shipped from a junkyard in Michigan. The part was incorrect.50 stars told me to return it to the shipping address provided before they would issue me a refund. AT MY EXPENSE -$30.00 I shipped part back. NOW, two weeks later they still will not send me my refund. One excuse after another. Empty promises. This place is a total Ripoff. My opinion, do NOT trust this business.

I was very happy with the customer service I recieved from 50 stars.Mark and Emily were very professional. Very satisfied with my ordering process hope to see my part in 3 to 5 days.

Would give -100 stars if possible! Complete SCAMMERS!! Ordered an ABS module in August, was told it would be programmed to my VIN. Received the ABS module and it wouldn't work with my vehicle, had a professional mechanic try to program the module only to find out that it is unable to be reprogrammed to work with my vehicle. Contacted 50 Stars to set up the module to be returned and had no issue, received an email confirming that they had received the part back and canceled the order and I could expect a refund in 3-5 business days. It has been over 1 month and I still have not received my money back! I have called and emailed them multiple times about my refund and have been told either a check was mailed and for some reason came back to them and was not deliverable to me or that they are having and issue with their bank, and they are working to resolve it as soon as possible so that they can issue my refund. Should have known it was a scam when they told me they needed me to Zelle them the funds in order for them to accept payment for the part. Called and talked to someone from their again today and was told again that they are still having issues with their bank and that as soon as the issue is resolved they will issue my refund. At this point if I have not received my money back by this Friday 10/10/25 I am filing a police report, a fraudulent transaction claim with my bank, a scam report with FTC, and a lawsuit against them for theft because they received and confirmed via email that they had received their product back and I am still yet to receive my $600+ dollars back that they charged me!

Mark Becker was very helpful and patience with me while I was trying to get everything worked out with my card information. Will be using 50 Star Auto Parts again in the future and recommend 50 Star Auto Parts to other people, as well. Emily was helpful and understanding, as well. Thanks to both of them.

All started out positive with this company. We ordered a brake control module, which was supposed to come plug and play. My husband installed it but it wouldn't communicate with the vehicle. We returned the first one and they sent a second unit which did not communicate with the vehicle either. We were told that we had to go to the dealer to get it programmed. At this point, we should have insisted on a full refund of $562, but we agreed (in writing) to take only $100 refund. That was almost two months ago. To date, we have not been refunded. Called 3 or 4 times and have been told that their bank is having problems with completing the refunds but that they are working on it and will keep us posted. Interesting how they didn't seem to have any problems taking our payment. At this point, pretty sure it's a line that we are being given and we're never going to see that refund. Such a shame that you can't trust anyone to keep their word.

My initial contact with the company came in the form of a chat. I informed the representative, Johnnie, that I have been in pursuit of a part that is no longer made by Toyota. He was able to supply more information on the part that I was not aware of. After supplying him with my VIN we were able to pin it down to the correct one. Johnnie informed me that I also have a one year guarantee on the part. I personally felt more comfortable talking to him before ordering the part. It wasn't a problem with him, and I will soon receive it. Thank you Johnnie!

Their a scam! Abs module did not work! I had it installed. Now I have to eat all that labor! They said it was pre-programmed and they would give you $70 if it did not work! They said the check was in the mail and never arrived and they never put the money back into my account!

Mr. Christopher were very professional he explained everything to me. But the shipping and customer service is unprofessional i wouldn't buy from this place at all. I got my money back and also send a red flag to the Fed about this place. They told me different stories about my part Emily and whoever else that works in that department. Finally told me that the part was bad and gave me a shipping label for UPS when I talk to UPS they explain anyone can make a shipping label and that they never received anything from them to pick up. I couldn't even track the order because it wasn't nothing to track. Keep your money and try EBAY this were all mechanic said to go.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!!!!!! Terrible customer service. I paid for a part in full and it’s been over a month and still no part has arrived. Every time I call I get transferred to someone new and told that they will not refund the money and the part was shipped to wrong location. I paid $631.30 and refused a refund if I don’t send the module to them, which I never received in the first place. They refuse to get tracking info to me even though over the last 2 weeks they have said as soon as they send the part I’ll get the info. I manage a shop and I’ve got a customer waiting for a month for a module.

ONCE YOU REALIZE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF AND TRY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK, NOBODY WANTS TO SPEAK TO YOU. IF YOU EVER GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE, THEY WILL TELL YOU THEY TRIED TO RETURN YOUR MONEY, BUT THEY HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEIR SYSTEM, AND THAT THEY WILL SEND YOU A CHECK. THEY SAY THE CHECK TAKES 3 TO 5 DAYS TO ARRIVE. I ORDERED MY PART IN JULY AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY BACK AFTER THEY RIPPED ME OFF !! THEY HAD NO WAY TO TELL IF IT EVEN WORKED AND IT WAS NEVER TESTED AND IT NEVER PROGRAMMED. 50S STARS DIDN’T MISLEAD ME THEY OUT AND OUT LIED TO ME AND RIPPED ME OFF. THE JUNKYARD IN IDAHO WAS JUST AN INNOCENT VICTIM LIKE MYSELF. I WONDER IF THEY EVEN GOT PAID ?!

Being a mechanic and buying a used part you always run the risk of the part not working properly as was the case with me and the part I ordered. First of all, I want to give a shout out to Mark who is the parts guy that I dealt with. He fielded a lot of calls from me as I found out the first part didn't work as well as the second part. Once He got me hooked up with Suzanne in customer service she helped me from there on out. She was very easy to work with and she helped me get parts returned. She was Awesome! Finally the third part fixed my car and made me very happy!! There was some hiccups along the way but at the end of the day my car was repaired!! Beyond Suzanne the other 2 or 3 people in customer service where very helpful as well!! I would buy from 50 Stars again!

I was very impressed with John in parts. He took my order with an amicable attitude and was very helpful in making sure that all information on the part number, the vehicle VIN was correct and then he gave me the information on the warranty that goes with the item purchased. I would definitely go back to this company for any other part I might need.

The part I was receiving I thought would be refurbished, but it wasn’t. It was obviously from a junkyard and had rust on an electrical part. Had I known it was coming from a junkyard I would have never purchased to begin with. They did take the part back and refund me my money, but it took weeks to receive and it cost me $49 to ship it back. Having this taking my time and money, I will not be shopping here again

Absolute scammers , First off they showed me a part that was on there website via chat, really nice looking part , what i got was not what was pictured . Secondly they charged me for programming on a unit that doesn't require programming . There mark up is insane as well , i bout the part for 799.00 they bought it for 450.00. You Can obviously tell by the pictures what they showed me and what got sent. be careful ! I will be stopping payment on this for sure
