They pay next to nothing,I'm sure there's 10 Oshia violations daily,and now hour lucky if they even have money to pay you!!

Sunset is a pretty decent place.,..have use them for 3 or 4 years ...no major issues..

They ripped me off about $100 or maybe even $200 I guess because I'm a woman who did t know any better at the time I had 120 +lbs of copper wire and was paid 200 I was ripped off

My first visit to this yard was on Sunday September 25th 2022. The yard is very small so if you bring a large trailer it would be best to back in from the street onto the scale. The small scale is located in the same building where the scale house is. If you don't back in from the street you will have to pull into the entrance for the smaller scale and then back up to the shredder tin pile to offload. I was selling shredder tin, sheet aluminum, one aluminum wheel, and 2 very large electric motors (829 pounds). Tin Shredder price was good at 12.5 cents a pound Sheet aluminum price was average at $0.40 a pound but I wasn't pleased with the aluminum wheel price at $0.40 a pound (average price is .060) and definitely wasn't pleased with the electric motor price at 12.5 cents per pound. (Average price is .20 to .30 cents per pound). The people were friendly and helpful. Hope this helps someone out.

Cynthia and the guys who helped us were about to close for the day . We appreciate them being able to weigh our items and create a ticket for us, we traveled a long distance and did not expect the delayed arrival.

It's a good place to take scrap metal and iron they give you a good price and it's a good place to go

This place was trash first of all when every one cast iron everywhere else in Dallas was going for 39cents a pound this place only gave me 9 cents a pound worked all night took a good load of scarp and only got 36$ when I should of had well over 100$

My first time taking scrap to Sunrise was today and it was excellent!!! Friendly staff and very knowledgeable about the different metals. Prices are fantastic, better than other scrap yards in the area. I would recommend going to Sunrise for your scrapping needs. They definitely have my business!!! Not to mention they did not cheat us like some other the other scrap yards have. Also they provide you with very detailed receipts for your transaction. Phenomenal !!!!!!! Love it!!!
