Otherwise be ready to be very dead last in line and get the lowest price they can possibly give you I called about one price they told me 95 cents a pound I get there then they tell me it's 70 cents a pound after I drive 25 miles out of my way horrible place like in front of the lady at the desk she stated oh those are different price but why didn't you tell me that on the phone probably cuz I didn't speak Spanish good place to use on Sunday when nobody else is open but otherwise go to CMC.
This is the best paying , fair, and courteous scrap metal recyclers in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex! Hands down the place to go! I’ve learned so much about all metals from the employees there as well as how to make the most $$$ for type of metal. The people who work here are definitely a Team!

Five stars is for the ppl they cool and str8 shooters. If you can’t backup pass this load along to someone else theirs no shame. The quality of service is truly unmatched. They came out and switched our dumpsters a FOUR TIMES in ONE DAY, which allowed us to get the job done seamlessly. Huge thank-you to Boris for his excellent communication, quick responses, and positive attitude!
Confusing operations with no clear directions how to sell scrap, particularly for first-timers.
It's best to enter off the main street (i.e. Botham Jean). You wait until the scale is free, then you weigh your trailer. After the gross weight is taken, you park and unload, or drive your load to the heap and manually unload. It's possible the claws can help unload, but I'm not sure since my quantity was so small. Then you weigh your vehicle again, and they take the difference between the weights to determine the size and ultimately value.
I'm going to back up a bit to explain my rating.
Before driving 45 minutes to sell my stainless steel scrap, I called to get the price. For "clean stainless steel" I was quoted at $0.35/lb. I was given a quote for much cheaper at other places because my stainless was magnetic, so I asked specifically if they had a different price if the stainless was magnetic. They responded, "it's stainless, right?" to which I confirmed, and they followed up with "it doesn't matter as long as it's stainless and clean." I took this to mean they would honor the quoted price.
So after driving all the way to the opposite side of Dallas, unloading, I received a cash offer for 1/5 the amount because it wasn't "clean." I said it was very clean, no dirt, no rust, or residue of any kind. Then they said it's because it was magnetic, therefore not clean. I didn't bother trying to argue, because this is a type of business that clearly doesn't care about image or reputation for honesty.
At that point, there was nothing I could do because I had already unloaded it, so I took the money and walked away extremely disappointed. I'd rather take my scraps to the dump than go back here.
This was my first experience delivering scrap metal to a scrapyard. Everyone was so accommodating! The office staff was so patient with all my questions. Efron even helped by backing in the trailer. These guys are the greatest!
Whoever heard of getting a check in the mail? If I'm leaving my stuff that day iw want my money that day not in 7 to 10 business days. Just because I'm a new customer, ha, no new customer here
Awesome first time experience recycling.. i used action recycling in dallas. (Right by downtown) called first to get a quote on large battery recycling shipment. Boris the owner immediately called me back, friendly guy kinda a character! Met my reasonable price expectations. Met me immediately upon arrival and got his guys helping me! Austin and sergio wete awesome helped me with both big loads. Shirley at window was fast and friendly. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND USE THEM FOR ALL YOUR RECYCLING NEEDS!

We spent two days attempting to donate metals to your facility. Given wrongful information and left empty handed after multiple attempts. This is ridiculous and horrible customer service. People depend on this company to provide a service that the employees are incapable of efficiently providing. All it took was for the right information to be given the first time. I went to sell some scrap on a Sunday, and the people outside were fantastic, the ladies behind the counter were awesome (and Beautiful) the owner fantastic fella.

The people are all very nice and courteous. Very well run, not like a lot of other places in Dallas. The owner personally helped to expedite my business account himself. The prices are fare and competitive. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
Been here twice. I recommend going on weekdays less crowded. They do provide some type of security but they do little to keep people from coming up to you and beg for money. Also if you call ahead and ask for a price it will be higher by .10 cents then what they paying out. Overall don't recommend.
This place is just amazing. The worker's are very sweet and always helpful. I always come here to scrap all my wire. Never had a problem here and i always plan on coming back here so thank you guys keep up the good work and stay safe.

This place really Saved the day. NO one else stays open this late and on the day b4 Thanksgiving it was a blessing. The guys in the office really helped us out when we showed up w no prior knowledge of this spot.

These guys are so patient and helpful, they give you 100% of themselves up until closing and then sum. I was so impressed by their honesty and karisma, that I can't see going anywhere else. They truly are genuine in their work ethics! Keep up the great work guys!!!
Boris was excellent to speak with. He handled me with impressive eagerness to please. The whole process was simple and painless. He arranged for a truck to come pick up almost 20k lbs worth of steel to be recycled and paid us a fair price for it without any cost for pickup from my warehouse. Would definitely recommend Action recyclers, and I will be using them for my next haul in the near future.
I won't be coming back to this place. I took way less of the same metals to another scrap yard and received more than I did with this yard. I had a gallon sized bag of each copper and brass at the other yard and about 10 lbs less wires and left there with $130. I had a huge bucket of brass and also a large bucket of copper and the 10 lbs or more of wire and left this yard with $126... Started out as $114 because the lady in the office "forgot" to add on the 5 cents per pound for the coupon I brought... So even with the extra 5 cents per pound I still walked out with way way less than what I feel it should've been... Another thing... The guys at the scale smelled like alcohol and were not friendly at all. I really wish I would've just loaded back up and left. I worked so hard on that stuff and I needed the money so extremely bad right now. I just wanted to cry when I left. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
Boris and his crew were great to deal with. I was a little bit of a pain and they made sure I got top dollar and got the best service. I drove from 3 hours away just to come here due to the reviews and they sure were worth it. Thanks much and highly recommend going there. Plus it helped his manager was a fellow okie!!
My experience at this place was good, they were friendly, we were in and out in no time at all. I was a little bit disappointed on how little they paid me for the items I brought in. The lady behind the counter was kind and made the disappointment a little better by giving us some packaged cheese and crackers. They were pretty good, I must say, lol.
Great staff! I love coming here the people are awesome! From the shorter man directing us super friendly always smiling, the ladies in the windows really nice and a tall man with glasses is cool stepped in and said something when this black man was trying to steal a 42.00 hammer from my truck. Super great when a company has your back.
Fairly decent prices. They're open on Sundays and a bit later than the competitors so that's a plus. Overall decent experience when I have to pay them a visit.
