This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
In Dallas, TX, Secondhand auto parts scores 97/100. Reviews are strongly positive: friendly, professional staff who help locate exact parts, clear communication (even photos), and fair pricing that often beats competitors. Customers cite broad inventory—engines, transmissions, and hard‑to‑find European OEM—and parts arriving as described, working after install. Service is generally fast with bilingual support. Main complaint: a confirmed item was sold before pickup, suggesting occasional availability/hold missteps and call‑back delays. Yard organization isn’t clear; consider reconfirming before you drive.
Very friendly and fast service! Came in looking for parts for my BMW and they helped me every step of the way and cut me a great deal on my parts! I will be a lifetime customer from here on out!
Called ahead over a week in advance for replacement parts and was told they were ready for sale and in stock. Called a day before pickup and confirmed again ready to sell. Called day of and was told someone would check to make sure and call back in a hour. Waited 2 hours to get told that it was "just sold like 10 minutes ago". 1/10 quality service.
Solid clean part for my long wheelbase LS460. Somewhat hard to find. They texted me pictures of the part, which is helpful since I was an hour away. Will buy again. Good inventory.
Called to verify a Prius climate control assembly was available. Drove down and picked it up same day. The front desk employees were nice and courteous. They do list parts on ebay.
Installed and tested. All buttons work as expected.
Great car parts store. They got all kinds of engines and transmissions. I got my N55 engine for a lot cheaper than everyone else. Will definitely come back for more parts!!
I recently bought another fixer-upper and needed a few different parts. I messaged a few different sellers on FB marketplace, but their prices weren’t much less than buying something brand new. Example, vanos solenoids for $95 and ABS pump for $125. The last person I messaged was Felipe from SecondHand, $50 for each mentioned above. Parts have been installed for a few weeks now and car is running perfectly.
They have a pretty big warehouse full of parts (interior, exterior, engine parts, complete motors, everything). Best part is Felipe and his brother who opened the shop about 5 months ago. You can tell they care about building up their business., satisfied customers. They’re patient, helpful, and offer pretty good prices.
