MY GO TO FOR ALL PARTS Restoring a 66 Mustang GT. 4 speed , Duel exhaust. The doors required replacing do to rust. Car has been sitting for 20 years. Its just that time to take it completely apart. They had a perfect after market replacement parts. The have been my go to for my 66 Mustang GT convertible restoration. Great guys to work with. PS open on Sunday.

Place is in an awkward spot, been twice so far they had everything I needed and are very friendly. Only negative thing I can say is thier prices in the catalog and in store are off.

I have been restoring an El Camino since late 2019 and have bought a bunch of parts at NPD Charlotte and online. Today in 2025 as my restoration is almost done, I took a few parts I didn't need back and requested to swap some door panels that were slightly damaged and missing a medallion. The only problem was we had already cut holes for window cranks and door handles on one. Although they couldn't take them back the store Manager (Gary) was nice enough to accept all my returns and gave me a big discount on new door panels. I left happy and have all the parts I need to finish the years long project. I highly recommend NPD to anyone working on a classic car or truck. They had or could get 99% of the parts I needed and were great about shipping the same day or having the parts ready to go when I drove there. Shout out to T- bone as well, he has always been super helpful.

It's a 3hr drive from me but anytime I have been here, it has been good service and attitudes. My favorite thing is the bell above the door when you walk in...IT RINGS FOREVER! but it's a pleasant ringing.

I'm working on two old trucks and NPD almost always has the parts I need in stock. Location is just off I-85 on service road, and the turn onto the service road is easy to miss unless you pay attention to your GPS. Friendly staff always willing to help and answer questions too. Need a battery tray for a vintage Chevy? They have it. 🙂

Ordered a pair of control Arm Shields for my ‘68 Ss Chevelle. Had a slight issue and these guys took care of it ASAP. Top notch service. I’ll definitely be back again!

Love NPD. They have hard to find parts for classic and older vehicles and store hours that help the working man fix his ride. I've used them for parts for many of my project and daily driver mustang.

Purchased a windshield and the thing was so warped it wouldn't install correctly. Called them to voice my concerns and even sent them pictures to prove it. They did absolutely nothing for me,I was out $160 and had to purchase another windshield but,obviously not from them as I will never buy anything again from them.Most of their products are cheap Chinese junk anyway. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. You can see in this picture about a quarter inch gap at the lower right side of window. did they not want me to try and push it down and leave this gap in there.The same person who responded to my complaint admitted he never installed a windshield but,I'm the one who knows nothing.He even lied about the Chinese made junk comments as this was absolutely made in China along with most of their other parts. Don't take my word for it just look at where it's made before you buy with them.

These guys know there cars. Just picked up a few items. Buying for my Chevelle. Have a old Chevy truck that I'm going to buy there also. It might be me, but parts I've bought there are good quality.

Went in with a full page shopping list and a little more than an hour and $2400 later we were pulling out. Awesome customer service!! Definitely worth the 90 minute ride 💯👍😁

So glad I found this place. I have saved a ton on shipping for big pieces for my 78 bronco. Very friendly. They pulled fenders for a 79 Camaro so I could measure the vent cutouts and trace a template. They have just about everything and they are quality parts.

All of the staff at NPD is exceptional! As soon as you go in, you're greeting with enthusiasm. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the guys there know their cars and know their products. I've been dealing with Casey for years, thru 6 different restorations. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge and I look forward to talking with him every time I go. If you're restoring a classic car or truck, NPD is definantly the way to go!

National Parts Depot in Charlotte NC. If you need car parts quick. Usually in stock and reasonably priced. Great sales team, very knowledgeably, polite, and friendly. I ordered a part for my 67 Camaro from another Camaro shop which said it was in stock. I waited 6 weeks and was given the run around about the part. I googled and found National Parts Depot. Give them a call, part was in stock order it and had the next day. I was so impressed I called back the next day and placed another order. Thanks NPD for great job and great customer service.

Used them while building my ( formerly owned ) '68 Chevelle Malibu ; always has what I needed except for some seat belts that were out of stock ( ended up getting them from Ausley's Chevelle Parts )...

These guys are great. Always friendly and very helpful. I always enjoy going there for my restoration parts. Recently picked up some parts for my 1971 Ford F-100 truck, and Frank helped me get right parts I needed, thanks a lot Frank, I really appreciate it!

I Purchased a brake conversion kit for my 1970 GTOThey did not give me no details on this product , purchased it and found out it was the wrong size for my tires. I spent $122 on shipping which they would not refund me or give me a gift certificate or nothing. I will never purchase any parts from them again which I had purchased parts for years. So this is the end of them DO NOT BUY FROM THEM at all.

I ordered a grill screw/clip kit for my 1979 F150. Also ordered a headlamp bezel screw/clip kit at the same time. The grill kit didn’t come with enough parts to attach the grill. The screws for the headlamp kit were not long enough. I had to dig through old parts and find the right stuff. Sent them an email. No response. Horrible parts and zero customer service.

Spectacular selections. Highly recommend! Staff is super knowledgeable, picked up a free book for our car. NPD has just about everything; prices are fair (you get what you pay for). Gary and Casey are awesome!

Very efficient, knowledgeable staff. Only reason not 5 Stars is that I wanted to buy more. Common trim 64-67 GM A-Body, meaning all the Chevelle Malibu GTO Tempest LeMans Cutlass 442 F-85 Special GS Skylark left.

My first visit there and first purchase on the rebuild of a 66 Mustang. Frank helped me at the counter with a rebuild kit for my transmission and was even able to offer me information on a local transmission rebuilder in case I find a damaged gear and need a source to help locate "hard parts ". I'll be back!

I don't know much about cars, but my brother in law swears by this place. When he came in town to visit he insisted that he had to go here because they have all the specific old Mustang parts he was looking for. We went and he found what he was looking for. So if you are looking for older mod parts this is a good place to investigate.
