Son’s battery went out and he called Harris Garage. Black guy pulls up with an attitude and acts like he doesn't want to help. Not only that, puts his truck in reverse and pulls off. Very unprofessional and unethical. 0 Stars!

I called for a tow and was told they would pick up my vehicle within the hour, 5 hours later the driver called me to tell me he couldn’t find my vehicle. No call to let me know they wouldn’t be out until much later....... when I called to ask why I wasn’t notified they told me it was my fault. Unprofessional and rude. The “owner” is barley understandable, his loud breathing and grunting makes it impossible almost to hear his unprofessionalism.

My adventure started on a Sunday afternoon when my car broke down on i85 about 20 miles north of Charlotte. I called a dozen tow places and nobody was interested in doing this tow. Then I called Harris garage. They were open Sunday and willing tow my car from that little town north of Charlotte to My town which was about a hundred miles away. This is where things start to get squirrely. He promised me that my car would be back there by around midnight. This Harris guy is an older fellow and he's a little slower on the communication along with his tow truck drivers they're not very proactive on communication. so around 1:00 a.m. or 2:00 a.m. I start hounding these guys Where's my car at are you guys actually helping me he kept saying yes. I was starting to get doubtful if they were actually picking up my car or not. Around 3:00 a.m. their guy calls me up and says he's about 10 minutes from the destination. I couldn't believe it. He brought my car there. it was in one piece. he had it on a nice flatbed.

We used their towing service to tow my car in the middle of the night. The towing guy was friendly and trying to reach us as fast as possible.

The first time I took my car to get fixed, I had no issues with getting the job done. Yesterday I stopped by to get my power steering pump/pulley replaced and I arrived at 2pm. The new guy(mechanic) had no knowledge or tools to prepare for the job. It went from one person to two people including myself to work on my own car? I stayed out there until midnight, and this is the most unprofessional, unreliable, self centered place in Charlotte. If you plan on getting your car towed do it, but if you're looking for a mechanic this is not the place. I'm very disappointed on how my time and money was wasted. Lesson learned.

Very misleading and will trick youout of your the don't have proper EQUIPMENT I wish I could give them a ZERO! DONT BRING YOU CAR HERE very UN PROFESSIONAL ..THEY TRICKED ME INTO BELIEVING I COULD GO AND DO A PRICE CHECK CROSS CHECKING THEIR CIRCULATIONS ONCE I CAME BACK IN A HOUR OR SO HE CHARGED ME $275 JUST TO GET MY CAR MOVED ONCE I NOTICED HE HAS UNLICENSED MECHANICS DRUNKS OFF THE CORNER..HE GOT VERY DISRESPECTFUL ONCE QUESTIONS WAS ASKED ONCE MECHANIC CAME FINALLY HE WAS REEKING OF BOOSE ...AND THE LOT DOESN'T HAVE PROPER EQUIPMENT TO DO HALF THE WORK THEY PROMISED ..STRAIGHT TRASH THE ONLY THING THEYRE EQUIPMENT TO DO IS TOW!! DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE UNDER YOUR HOOD .. PEOPLE BEWARE BBB REPORT FILED

Broke down on the side of the road and they were there within 15 minutes. Mr. Harris was nice and helpful as well as a good conversationalist. I would recommend him to anyone in the area who needs a tow.

Harris towed my car, got my parts, replaced my starter, and added freon to my vehicle in a timely manner in 90 degree weather. Not to mention they were affordable. Thanx guys!!

Towed and repaired my car. Took 3 days longer than originally told. Showed up and lot was filled with trash. Was told to come back over 3 hours later. Show up with gates locked and took 20 minutes to reach owner who took 10 minutes to open the gates. Car was still not repaired by the second time we showed up and took 20 more minutes to repair on tip of time spent waiting.

Harris Garage Body and Towing was hired by a 3rd party. To come to my property and pickup my son's car. Which was being sold to the 3rd party. They came a got the car, when there was no one home. When I got home, I found my outdoor fire pit has been pushed over. I took pictures showing the tire marks flowing right into the fire pit. My personal vehicle, which was still there at the time. Had tire marks within a foot of it. But when I call Harris and told them about my problem. They took no responsibility. I was told they didn't hit or bump anything. It was only a $75 fire pit. BUT, I feel they shouldn't have come. When there wasn't anyone home. Now, it's their word against mine. Buyer beware!!!
