All negative reviews but they wouldn’t care! Very bad disorganized place. Waiting in line on the side of street, scaling once, blind side backing, tight space, wait in line some more to scale out.
Good place to deliver, little confusing at first but if you follow instructions it makes it easy. Entrance is from brookford, right alone the building to the scale, from scale you’ll back out and pull forward through door 8 and back up to dock 12-13. Once unloaded- turn around and get back on the scale , back out to the street
Backing easy they give you a trained spotter I don’t know about the blind backing that the comments mentioned

One of the worst places to pick up a load from! Waiting for your turn on the side of street, very tight maneuvering inside the yard, blind side docking, extremely long time to load! We had 3 trucks ahead of us in line, on average 3.5 hours to load a truck.
This business must have other ways of making money because buying scrap metal and being courteous to somebody calling to actually try to do business with them is not there forte. So I just assumed they already got plenty of money because when I called to find out some prices for today she quickly assured me that they did not deal with the public and she never even asked me who I was with or who am I she just assured because I'm I guess I got this country accent that I'm don't on my own business and she didn't even know that I was a Google developer and that I would be doing a rating on her sorry three star rating that they have right now my rating definitely isn't going to help it out, The public speaks, you treat others how you want to be treated. I'd have to agree with the other truck drivers. It's like weaving around everything but the kitchen sink. There was actually a truck parked in front of the docks this time to navigate around. That's crazy. They weren't able to move it because I was told they didn't have the key. 🤷. There's also yellow cement barriers around the scale area. I even saw someone's bumper on the ground.
Please think about the drivers who risk so much to deliver your goods all over the place when putting in these barriers, as we tend to be an afterthought unfortunately.
This place is very slow. I've been here over 3 hours loading a 20ft container. It's very tight backing so be careful. Drivers if you get a load here turn it down
It’s simple. If you’re a truck driver this place is awful. There is no room to turn around. This means you must do a series of blind side backs to do 3 point turns in order to accomplish getting loaded. The people running this seem very nice but it’s meaningless when you have to risk damaging your trucks.
Poor customer service. I pulled on the yard and a guy came out saying they only accept commercial metal. I am a commercial recycler. But yet he adamantly turned us away. Unsatisfactory business practice.
Drivers, it’s a nightmare. Yard is super small. Have to back off the scale, then blindside back out into the street to go through to the loading docks. And there’s constant company trucks in & out. Just be prepared to utilize EVERY driving skill possible if you’re ever here. The ppl working here are very kind, I will say that. Just a horrendous set-up for drivers.
I go in-and-out of their everyday It is a little tight at times but the people are wonderful could not find better people to deal with expresly Herb And John And the rest of the crew is far as that goes are wonderful
CHECK IN AT THE LITTLE BUILDING FIRST. You will need your ID. For best rates be sure to break down items by metal type and keep items separate for sorting.
We have been working with them since last November when we scrapped out an assembly line. Nothing but 1st class! We were able to remove the line and they had it gone in 2 days. If you do have a problem Erica and her team gets it corrected right away. They pick up at our location at least 3-4 times a month. One good point is I don't have to wait for my report out, Ashley sends it out like clock work.
