I truly love this place. I have never had a single problem here, and I honestly believe I never will. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with respect and kindness. Everyone is always welcoming, professional, and in a great mood, which makes the experience even better every time I come in.
They are very fair and honest when it comes to pricing and are always willing to work with you to come to a price that makes sense for what you’re bringing in. I never feel rushed or pressured, and they always take the time to explain things and make sure you’re comfortable and satisfied.
If I had the choice, I would pick this place every single time. It’s reliable, trustworthy, and truly important to the community. Places like this are hard to find, and I really appreciate the consistency, respect, and quality service they provide.

The absolute best scrap yard around. They are quick, friendly, and always willing to help unload heavy materials. They also usually give higher prices for scrap metal than any other scrap yard.

So I guess the owner don't like the one star that he got the other time I was there went there today and he came over to my truck and touched my truck with out permission to tell me since I give him a one star that he didn't want my business. That's fine don't want to do business with him either because he had no right to even touch my truck with out my permission. But like I said won't be back to his business at all anymore.
Curly haired guy tries to weigh your items fast so you don't see the numbers. When questioned why he wrote wrong weight, he says oh you saw that and laughed. Poor business equals poor customers. Never again. All over 27 dollars. Do better!
Fast and friendly service with fair prices.
The only time there has been an issue it was due to a knucklehead customer not following the directions as everyone else is.
I use this scrapyard often, I come from right across the state line(Rock Hill). I’ve never had a problem. Everyone at this facility is good to me. Please forgive me bc I can’t think of her name atm, but the lady behind the counter who gives the $ is the sweetest ever! I love to speak with her, she’s awesome!! But… I’d highly recommend this place again , and again!
It was just a little bit small area wise than I thought in my head. But very effective. Great coordination of the vehicles that came through to drop appliances.

I'm not s customer, I just needed to put my two cents in, I ran a scrap yard here in Massachusetts for close to 20 years and as I read the comments o can't help but laugh at the negative ones, 9 times out of ten when a customer has a bad experience for whatever reason, it's simply because they didn't follow directions or the csme in with the bad attitude. Ad I said I did it for 20 years and have seen just about every guy that thought they were being screwed. It the scales where off, funny thing is the scales are certified by a very expensive scale company as per state and local regulations ( the company who owns the scales do not have any choice, when the weights and measures guy calls, your scales are getting calibrated, there is no, choice it's not a recommendation it's the law.)also if the company gets caught screwing with their scale, the fines are ridiculously high, so it's really not worth it for them to play around with their scales . Secondly, as far as pricing goes. Some folk look up the prices on the web, I can tell you from experience, if you don't know what your doing , or how to look them up. Those prices on lineany times are from the commoditys market and reflect railcars full. Meaning hundreds of thousands of pounds of material so sure the number can be significantly higher. So I tell people to leave it to the professionals . Stop hiding behind the keyboard of your dissatisfyd and running to your computer to give a negative revue, because let's face it every one has bad days , you don't know what's going on in their lives. And I have to say I really really love how the owner responds to all reviews, aspecialy the negative ones. So people before you go home and hide behind your keyboardif you not happy with your experience, don't be a spineless coward , say something to someone at the place and resolve it like a or woman you just look like a petty fool when it done behind their back for everyone else to see. Anyway thanks for being a great scrapyard.just my two cents is just that,

I went to E-Metals for the first time yesterday. I wasn't sure what to do so I asked questions. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I was nervous prior to going, but I will definitely be coming back! Thank you!
Was told (rudely) that I could bring a couple boxes of circuit boards in to recycle.
Lady on the phone is clearly there because it's a job. Drove to the place, only has a scale and scrap yard. No where to bring electronics, nobody to guide you anywhere. Place is a cluster f
My go to metal scrap yard. Very professional and accurate. The employees are there to assist. They remember the regulars and I am usually in and out quickly. On a few occasions when there was an error it was corrected quickly. Good people.
My first visit there with some materials from old computer equipment. I had already separated the different metals and circuit boards. The worker was great at answering my questions and getting me through quickly. After unloading from my vehicle they handled the materials. I got a slip with the types and weights. Went to the checkout location/pay window. Was given cash and a receipt with the breakdown of what they paid for each material. A great first experience. Quick and easy. I had called prior to get an idea of what needed to be done with the old computers before going. They answered the phone and answered my questions. That may sound simple but is actually less of a common thing these days.
The owner is super cool, honest, and fair. The cashier is super hot and always courteous and respectful so long as you are. I'll gladly drive out of my way to bring my recyclables to E-Metal for sheer like of the people there
Don't be intimidated by the trucks and appearance. I only had 41 pounds of brass but the guys were very nice and took good care of me despite it my visit occurring during a busy period. The lady behind the widow was nice and processed my order quickly. Getting cash for your scrap metal is much better than throwing it in a landfill! Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. These guys have to make a living and pay the costs of running a business. They have to pay you less than they sell for.
