An extraordinary experience I’ve had recently. As a mechanical engineer and a car enthusiast I had my own time inundated by the artifacts and watching the Indy history. As I walk along I realized that this place is well designed and structured in a way that they take you in a small history tour without missing any key detail. Well preserved artifacts were mesmerizing and fascinating to look into. Overall a must visit place if you visit Indianapolis.

It’s Indianapolis Speedway!! The new museum is absolutely amazing the track tour was fun and I could spend all day there! It’s one of the great wonders of the United States.

A memorable day at the Iconic Indy 500 Last month, I had the pleasure of visiting Indianapolis to celebrate my nephews graduation. During the trip, I also got the opportunity to experience one of America's iconic sporting events, The Indianapolis( Indy) 500 race .I attended the event 2 days before the final race, but the energy, excitement, and sheer scale of this event were truly unforgettable .Here are moments I personally captured .I must say this is my best experience.

Awesome experience, first time anywhere like it. People were nice, exhibits were detailed and clean, and the tour was educational and very cool to listen to.

Great stop in Indy! A must see. The magnitude of the speedway is incredible and the museum is extremely well done!!!

Amazing racing venue. Unfortunately went on a half rainy day, but it was very cool to walk around the inside of the track. Lots of great angles, specifically the back straight and turns 12-14 (last set of turns). Would definitely see another GT3 race here again.

Great track. Went for the IMSA race. The 6 hour race is slept on in my opinion. Tons of great places to sit to see all the action. I would highly recommend seeing a race there.

Visit the museum an excellent experience . The employees were knowledgeable and helpful. The car exhibits were amazing. Thank You.

Phenomenal historical visit. Not an Indy car or nascar guy, but the place was awesome! Museum was stellar, people were very friendly, and you could feel the history all around you. Track tour was awesome and the volunteers were very knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do. Would highly recommend this one in you’re ever in Indy!

We visited to see the museum and speedway. Museum was fun and has a lot of what you'd expect. Would recommend getting the additional tickets at the end of the tour to travel to the tracks (they have a few different tours). Went on off season so it wasnt too crowded.

What a great place. Everyone we stopped and asked a question of was so helpful and polite. Their directions were spot in. We had general admission tickets and found some great seats up in the grandstands right before turn one. Simply a perfect day.

Very interesting for a race fan. Lots to look at with three stories of memorable items. I would highly suggest taking the bus tour up to the winners podium.

Such a fantastic and historical place to visit. Great facility and museum worth the stop even if you are not attending a motor race event at the time

Step into the storied Indy 500 experience in this spacious and well designed museum. Interactive and immersive experiences engage visitors of all ages whether you count yourself a racing fan or not.

Had a great time at the Brickyard 400!! Indianapolis was one of the best speedway I've been to hands down The staff and concessions people were extremely nice and courteous. If you wanted it to eat or drink, they had it. Food tasted amazing. Will definately be coming back!!

Great experience all around. Looking for a inexpensive way to take your kids somewhere come here. Pack a cooler with anything except glass products. Everyone around the track is helpful and knowledgeable about track history and how to do there jobs perfectly.

By far one of the best tracks, not only in the country but on the planet. I've yet to have a bad seat anywhere. If you start buying your Indy 500 tickets now, and buy them every year, in 25 years you can be starting on the start finish line. They really do cherish the long time fans.

We toured the Speedway Museum while vacationing a week ago and were unaware of the recent multi-million dollar renovations. The museum’s gasoline alley tells the history of the speedway with displays and depictions of garages at various time periods. This leads to a theatre experience giving a great feel of the live Indy 500 experience. Cars of all periods and many winners including NASCAR are on display. The docent shared the renovations opened up the displays so they are easily seen from multiple sides. A section is devoted to simulations that are great fun. All in all, this is a first class experience. We missed the track tour but expect that it would be a not to be missed part.

Went to see the renovated museum and take the track tour. Very nice updates to the museum with many realistic displays. The 8 minute movie was a very immersive experience . The museum was a little smaller than expected with lot of empty floor space for crowds or additional displays later.

Visiting the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was a great experience for us. We loved the atmosphere and the stadium. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. The facilities are well-maintained, and the Speedway also offers museum tours and track experiences. The tours are well worth it—even if you aren’t into racing.

Well organized and curated museum with enough details to inform but not too much to overwhelm. Fascinating even to someone not that into car racing. I was able to borrow a wheelchair on a "first come, first served" basis. They don't have many, so if you need to borrow one, try to come at a less busy time and/or come early. (We did both.)

Wonderful experience! Easy to order tickets online with your timing when you would like to go. We ordered it 2 hours before but I am sure you could just walk in. It was clean, easy to grasp the whole museum and we got to see two cars on the track. It is an interactive museum for all ages.

Not only are the exhibits amazing, but the staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous! Seeing the cars from both the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400 races is awe inspiring, especially in the way with which they are presented with just the right amount of accent lighting. The full scale dioramas of some of the race cars in their garages throughout the years was a delightful step back in time. I saved the best for last, although it's the official "entry" to the main museum; you walk onto a semi-virtual starting line representing race day, complete with three Indy cars resting at the inimitable line of bricks. An audiovisual extravaganza sweeps around and over you as the pre-race preparations unfold to hasten the start of the Indy 500! Overall, this museum lives and breathes the thrill of racing and the pit crew of staff members guide and assist you whenever you require their assistance. I look forward to coming back again on race day!

Our first Indy 500. We were blown away. What a great time. Everything was like a well oiled . . well, a well oiled engine! Getting into park, getting inside the raceway and to our seats. Fantastic staff there to help out. If car racing can be classy, the Indy 500 is it. Indiana should be so proud of this event it! Family oriented. I can't believe how fast these cars go. We hope to come see again as it was so much fun. We cross3d 8t off our bucket list and then put it back on the list. Thank you Indianapolis for a great time. You did yourselves proud! The parade on the day before was also well worth it.

Museum and “Kiss The Bricks”. Tour was spectacular! We went 5/29/25 a few days after the race. Many helpful people there and really nice displays that are lit up for great pictures. The speedway kiss the bricks tour was very informative and interesting. We would definitely recommend this to anyone remotely interested.

I would highly recommend experiencing the Indy 500 at least once in your lifetime, even if you're not a big motorsport fan like myself. I had tickets to the infield, and it was one of the funnest experiences of my life. It is one big party in the infield. Everyone is having a blast. It's also family friendly as well if partying isn't your thing. There's lots of good spots to actually see the track, unlike some other venues. The fact that you can bring in a cooler with all the food and beer you want really makes this an affordable event to attend.

Loved the atmosphere and stadium. Staff was more than helpful with all my questions and concerns. Food stand was delicious with so many options to choose from. The 2025 Shell Eco Marathon was so wonderfully put together and it was such an event to see. I'm so happy I was able to attend this amazing establishment during this time. 🤩🤩🧡🧡 *Much love from Chicago*
