They help me maintain my car running great. They even replaced my car horn, twice, because the first one wasn't working how it should. If you live close by and they aren't too too busy, they will drop you off/pick you up. I feel like their prices are fair. They have worked on two Honda/Acura's of mine.

This place rocks!! Customer service is king, patience with my questions and these guys know what they're doing. Nice to go to a new place for service and to have complete confidence in them.. my car has gone thru 3k in much needed repairs(my mileage is at 190k) and I'm now driving my car agian. Speechless as to the dedication these guys have gone to restore all the systems in my venza , getting her ready for the cross country adventures she's about to go on. We had a great experience at Glendale Automotive! Jeremy was extremely transparent about the problem we were having, worked hard on a great solution that wasn’t going to cost as as much, and kept us in the loop as they were working on our car. Would recommend for anyone new to the area looking for an honest and trustworthy place to go for car troubles!

Take everything you think you know about “auto mechanics” and throw it out the window. This business is one of the few gems left in the industry where customer service, confidence, experience, creativity, and most importantly integrity are required of eavery employee. We have been customers for over 20 years, and Fred runs a tight ship where he personally stands behind the estimates and work they do and is truly a partner you need if you have a car.

Brought my car in for wheel bearing replacements. They found that one of the rear axles also needed work. Instead of combining the labor cost of the wheel bearing and axle they charged me full labor for the axle even though they already had done most of the labor while they were replacing the wheel bearing. This cost me about $600 extra. I would recommend getting quotes at multiple shops before committing to this one because they will overcharge by any means.

They were very helpful! My car was like the car from hell, so many problems and they just kept coming! Fred, Jeremy and the guys at Glendale did their thing and helped get my car safe and drivable again. After I brought it in the first time I found new problem after getting it back and they got me back in quick and fixed those problems too! Anytime I called with an issue they were willing to listen and check things out for me, pricing was fair and the work is great! I would definitely recommend Glendale automotive if you're having car issues. I finally have a car I feel confident driving and I don't have to worry about breaking down on me!

First impression of Glendale Automotive was good. Pleased with first few service visits; but then, when we became an established regular customer, we were given a brake job quote of nearly $700 on a Ford Focus. Based on my experience and a little research, I knew that price was extremely high. We ended up having another small, long-established garage do the work with premium ceramic brake pads and two new front discs for around $300.

Fred and Jeremy did us bigly with our Jeep Liberty transmission problem. You can tell by the many positive reviews posted that Fred runs "the old school" small business type operation that was the standard for many years and still works today. This small business, auto repair shop is very honest and upfront about the work they’re doing and the cost. As a young woman, I’m often worried that auto shops are going to rip me off, but I’m not worried about it here. After diagnosing the issues, they give you a chance to ask questions. They were honest with me about what really needed to be done and what could wait, helping me to lower my overall cost. One time they missed something but were very quick to make it right and get it taken care of in a generous and customer-prioritized way.

Fred and his team are amazing! He took on a job with my 2010 Wrangler that many other shops would not take on because it was very labor intensive. He was very upfront with the estimate and even drove me back downtown after I had my jeep towed there-he asked if I had a ride home, I told him I would uber and insisted on driving me back downtown. I absolutely recommend Glendale Automotive to anyone I know in need and I have a life long shop I will go to! He even gave me references for a place that was closer to home! Who does that?

I love Glendale Automotive. They are the kindest people I have ever met. Whenever I have anxiety about a problem my car has, they make me feel like I will make it through. They have definitely saved my life with their help. Their work is also amazing and quality-they are honest, knowledgeable, and take my concerns seriously. Wonderful mechanic shop. Glendale Automotive has been such a great find. Fred and his team go out of there way to take care of their customers. They are honest, reliable and even educate you about how to better care for your vehicle. They try to give you a heads up on maintenance that could need attention and do not pressure you on things that could wait. Very refreshing. I would recommend Glendale Automotive to anyone looking for the above. I will always go to them for needed maintenance and service.

I can't recommend Glendale Automotive enough. Honest work at a fair price. I am their worst kind of customer. I think I know enough to get the work for less. But these guys are always patient and have never done anything but great work. I appreciate a shop like this. In this day and age of "well the computer says it's gonña take 3 hours to change your brake pads"", it's a rare pleasure to use Glendale Automotive.

Fred (owner) and the team have been extremely knowledgeable, fair and timely... They've seen my old clunker quite a handful of times over the past 2 years. First was when my car died after going through standing water during a storm not far from the shop (thanks to our poorly draining Indy streets...). I had the car towed to Glendale auto where they inspected the car, got it running again, and even fixed a dislodged underhood trim panel all by the next morning... did not charge me! I have brought back numerous times for loud, rattling engine performance which they helped mitigate and extend the life of the car. They even brought me back into the garage to show me a faulty part. Past mechanics have never taken the time to show me the actual problem, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, a brake failure has left my old car smoking, so it's now time to move on and buy a new one. Fred offered to take a look at whatever new car I grab (if I buy used). BOTTOM LINE- I would recommend this mechanic because they genuinely cared about trust and to be as fair as possible. I never felt like I overpaid even after my myriad of non-maintenance related issues.

Having frequented many of the “top rated” auto shops in my area, none compared to Glendale Automotive. Fred and Derek went above and beyond in every aspect of the PPI that I went there for, and overall turned a stressful situation into the easiest, most pleasant part of my day. As a young woman who doesn’t know much about cars, I often feel at a disadvantage at auto shops, and these sentiments have been echoed by other young professional woman I know. It was SO refreshing to be treated as an equal at Glendale Automotive and not have someone try to take financial advantage of my lack of car knowledge or dismiss me based on perceived youth/gender. I was eager to learn, and they were transparent and patient in their explanations. I left feeling more confident and knowledgeable about the car I ended up buying. Another person was with me during my visit and was so impressed that they are taking their family’s cars there for future maintenance. As I shared my experience with my friends and neighbors, it’s apparent Glendale Auto is known for their genuine customer service. I‘ll absolutely return to Glendale Automotive for all of my car maintenance / repairs and feel confident in my trust in Fred, Derek, and anyone else at this shop. After years of searching for a trusted mechanic, I‘m delighted to have discovered this gem in my neighborhood.

In town on business. Car started acting funny. Looked up auto shops near me, and Glendale's was close and had great reviews. I called them up, the owner answered and said he understood my circumstances and said he'd get me right in. He did just that. I was in and out kn no time. Great Price!! I came to Glendale Automotive for the first time after a local dealership told me it would cost over $2000 for repairs for my car. I brought my car to GA for a second opinion, and they fixed everything for under $150! The guys at GA are very honest and communicative with me, and as a person who knows very little about cars, they make an effort to educate me and explain things very clearly. They’re extremely friendly and trustworthy. Just as a friend recommend them to me, I’ve recommended them to as many people as possible, and they’ve always been happy with the service provided. If you’re not sure where to take your car for service, look no further! Glendale Automotive is your place!

I have gone to this repair shop (which is just blocks from my house) many times. They have ALWAYS gotten the repairs right. I switched cars with my sister who lives about 50 miles outside of Chicago so that I could bring her car to Glendale Auto because I know they will get to the root of the issue and get it fixed right. I have taken 3 different cars to these folks over the past few years and have never been disappointed. Great to know that some people still believe in an honest days pay ...for an honest days work. :)

I have been taking my 02 Honda Accord to Fred and his team my entire adult life. I owe them a 5-star review at the very least, and will refer anyone who asks to them. They are the best! A few examples of their excellent service: 1) My car's sunroof was draining improperly and causing water to pool on my interior floor. They first came to me with a costly fix involving taking apart the dashboard, but when they could see I'd have a hard time affording that fix, they came up with an ingenious solution involving a WINE CORK! This fixed the problem and with minimal cost to me. Amazing. 2) Last year I was deciding whether to fix an oil leak for $1,000+ or buy a new car. Fred and his team told me they were confident they could get my car to 200k miles at least (we're at 177k now). My level of trust and confidence in them decided it for me: we're going to keep this car going as long as we can with the experience of the guys at Glendale Automotive! Thank you for everything you've done for me, my car, and my family's fleet of cars over the years!!!

Glendale Automotive has been our mechanic for years. The owners honesty and willingness to stand behind his estimates always amazes me. I recently had a check engine light on and he diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. He also reminded me of a couple of repairs I needed. One I had been ignoring for some time, but was now a safety issue, and the other was a simple oil leak solved with simply checking the oil every time we put gas in it. The combined the repairs knowing that the labor to do both the oil leak and the check engine jobs at the same time saved me close to half the repair for the oil leak. The owner didn't have to combine the repairs, but he did. He not only stood by his estimate to the penny (like he always does, even when he has to do more then expected to fix the initial complaint with the car), but also saved our family considerable money in the long run. He always tells me when a repair is urgent or optional and is a partner in our quest to keep our cars on the road and not wast money unnecessary repairs. Glendale Automotive rocks and stands behind their estimates and their work! Just ask!

I have been a regular customer of Glendale Automotive for at least 7 years and will continue to go to them as I find that they have always made every effort to be clear and honest with the work that needs to be done. I recently took our car in for work that had previously been done. We both discovered that the parts warranty required by the EPA exceeded what his supplier provided for that part. Fred redid the work for me at no cost. I hope that he was able to get some satisfaction from his parts supplier as I know the parts were not particularly cheap. Fred made this decision based on doing what was right and what needed to be done to keep me as a customer, rather than what he was going to make on the job. Fred and his crew are easy to talk to, they do good work, and he puts customer satisfaction as a priority.

Fred at Glendale Automotive runs the most honest an forthright auto shop in town. I came in for a pre-purchase inspection of a used truck and he got me in as soon as he could and did a thorough examination of the truck, gave me his honest opinion on whether I should be it, and provided excellent customer service. This is the place to take your vehicles.

I was 20+ miles from home and my tire blew from a pothole fiasco and no spare. I was helpless. I had heard of Glendale Auto from a few family members. I called and asked if they did tire repairs as well. The owner, Fred, answered my call, told me to have it towed there. He wasn't concerned at all that it was nearly closing time and I had no appointment. He changed the tire, himself, treated me as if I were family, and the price was far less than I ever imagined. I will forever be grateful!

I was nervous when getting my car in because I've had many experiences of mechanics trying to up-sell me things I didn't need. Walking away from Glendale, I couldn't be happier with them. They were excellent all around. They didn't try and up-sell me anything, even when I called back to ask questions before I picked up my car. The owner was also in the shop and even offered to stay open a couple minutes so I could get my car since I was running behind. When I got there he didn't rush me to pay or try and get me to leave. He let me ask questions and even took me to the back where they kept the part they had replaced on my car. He showed me how the part worked and what a clean part looked like. When I left I was excited, the proof was in the car, it ran better than when I bought it used a couple years ago. I scheduled for my spouse's car to be taken in the next week. We both had excellent experiences. I love Glendale and I will continue to bring all my cars to them. They are knowledgeable, honest, professional, and friendly. Thank you, Glendale.

I can say with a great deal of confidence that they are officially my go to mechanics and if you go you won't be disappointed!! They were able to diagnose that I needed an AC compressor and fix it in one day, none of that overnight crap, with a great price as well ( compared to the 2 other places I went to). Fred and his partners are friendly and polite I couldn't have wished for a better experience.
