My car was towed. I called and the lady couldn’t give me any information except the fact that this was a different location so she couldn’t give me any fees or anything. She was stumbling over her words the entire time I was talking to her. Why works you have your phone calls roll over to another location if they can’t give you fees and prices? Now I have to wait until 8 to get a price to get my car. Blasphemy
So you can see the time stamp an I just had to call and they tell me the driver will be leaving the lot shortly??? So I had to call to get that I am maybe 6 miles away and if your driver is in the lot?? Guess since it’s an insurance that’s easy money for them it’s 744 pm and I have been sitting broke down on the road waiting
Hi bought an engine through them turned out to be the wrong one they did not have the right one so they refunded my money and help me find the right one at a different salvage yard
I had my car towed, I told them the correct address the first time, apparently they took it to the wrong address which I wasn’t mad about it, I understand mistakes happen. But then they tried to charge me for their mistake and when I said I wasn’t paying for there mistake, only the $165 that I was originally quoted, she started threatening me saying she was going to impound my car. A much kinder women was able to reconcile the situation and we got it figured out. But whoever threatened me, a paying customer, was completely unprofessional. I won’t be doing business with this company ever again.
So I recently reviewed this company, and you told me that the trucks are governed to 75 mph. That is a FLAT OUT LIE! I will make sure to take pictures next time, if my cruise is set to 78 and they pass me, obviously they AREN'T governed to 75. It is very dangerous for a heavy truck like that to speed. Next time I will report it to the local metro pd. Thanks!

I'm the orange Cascadia with a flatbed that broke down in Whiteland, IN in the middle of the night. I was already having a terrible day, so thank you gentlemen for not making it worse for me 💪
Had them deliver a container for us and everything went very smooth and just like the plan. Driver was great to work with and put it exactly as I asked. Would use them again.

These guys and gals are amazing! First I chose them because of the responses they had to their google reviews. Dispatch ladies are very helpful. They got a driver out almost immediately and they LOVE quick witted humor. Not sure if that had to do with the top notch level of service we got, but I'll take some credit. So we had a driver that had a warrant we don’t know what happened but we do know that this tow company towed our truck and the said one price then marked up the price and started making up fees . And demanded cash only cash only they said because they didn’t want it reported on there taxes they are very dishonest and I would give them a 0 we are calling the police department and tell them what all they are doing and reporting them to irs as well as turning it over to attorney on top of all of that they damaged our truck towing it . I don’t know who they are but they have truly treated us bad !!! I would not recommend them to anyone so dishonest
Well they towed out tow truck and the woman I talked to refuses to give us our truck back she told us that she would give us a better price if we only paid cash. So she don’t have to turn it in to her taxes. She was very rude and then proceeded to hang up on me several times. I would not suggest that anyone use this service. These people are scammers and not professional

DON'T WASTE your money and time in this place, i bough a "GOOD" engine with rod bearing and connecting rod pieces in the oil pan, try to return the junk back to them and they act like i was a liar and say no returns allowed on "good engines" jajaja. I asked then to call the guy that removed the engine out of the car for me to speak with him and this pothead came in the office swearing that he had the engine running for (30 SECONDS) on starting fluid on his own, on an engine with two DEAD CYLINDERS on a 4 cylinder engine JAJAJAJAJA even him holding the oil pan with all the metal pieces LMAO. Time is money in this automotive business we don't have the time to play with CLOWNS and waste our labor installing junk parts from places like this.
Dealt with a few tows over the weekend and, hands down, Hix was the best. Melissa at dispatch immediately jumped at the chance to help out some lost castaways. Nate was a trooper! Showed empathy to us being stranded over 600 miles from home. Suggested some places to eat and helped calm us down in an extremely stressful time. Not to mention, his knowledge of his trade really showed; the other tow providers we dealt with left some things to be wanted. I would recommend this provider to everyone!
Best towing experience I've ever had! Dispatch was super friendly and explained everything I needed to know. They had a few jobs to do before they could get to mine, so they said it would be about 2 hours. I was able to go home while I waited, and they called me when they were on the way to my car and 20 minutes out so I could meet them. It definitely didn't take 2 hours.. it was barely an hour that I waited, which was awesome. The driver, Terry, was super friendly, professional, and very obviously a pro at his job. I live on a small road and have a narrow driveway, so I thought he'd have problems getting that big of a tow truck into it but I was super wrong. Lol He was able to maneuver into my driveway within seconds. This was definitely the fastest and most precise tow service I've ever witnessed in my life! I highly recommend this company if you ever need a tow!!
The worst wrecker company we have ever work with.
I requested a tow for a truck and trailer, distance was provided (10 miles) and a lady named STEPHANIE told me that the price would be 433.00dll. I told her that I was going to call her back in 5 min, which I did, but now a guy answered. I explained to him what I needed and he told me that he found in their computer system the price I got from STEPHANIE, 433.00dlls. I ask if no other fee would be added and he said no.
They tow the truck and trailer, then they charge me 712.75. I called and asked Stephanie why the service increased so much from the original price. She asked who gave me that amount. I explained that it was her who gave me the price and another employee had confirmed the amount.
Stephany stated that no one ever gave that price. I explained to her multiple times that I was not laying that she is the one that gave the price and that another guy there confirmed the amount. I told her also that another tow company had giving me a 500dll price, that why I had chosen them
Stephany said “well the job has been completeted and my driver has been there for almost an hour (NOT TRUE). It is 150.00 per hour. If we can't get this resolved quickly I will have to impound the unit.
I told her that I never said I was not going to pay, I was just exercising my right to question.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
We found ourselves in a very challenging tow situation with a moving truck and every single person we spoke with at Hix was friendly and helpful. They got a truck out to us and had us rescued and back on the road in just over an hour total from the time we made the initial call. Highly recommend this company any time a roadside service is needed!
Waited 1.5 hrs past eta. I also had to call twice to get the updated eta. Wrecker came and the driver laughed because I only had front end issues like I wasn’t “worthy” enough for a tow. Next, the driver called a family member or someone before actually hooking my car up. I know it was a loved one because he told them he “loved them.” Ugh what a waste of my insurance company’s money!
The gentleman (Slavay)that was prompt on answering all my questions about a door. Not only did he answer all my questions he also sent pictures . And the replies were quick. Once we got there he let us look at what we were going to buy before money was exchanged. And they got right to it and got our part to us. Salavay was great to work with and the outcome was all positive.
This is a very professional and proficient towing company. Stephanie from the front office was awesome and kept me updated on anticipated arrival time. The young man who towed my car was very polite, thorough with his work, especially double checking everything before began driving. I appreciate your company and business ethics! Mr Jimmy was awesome! He was an absolute expert at his craft. Super good man. Hopefully you never need a tow, but stuff happens. If you do need a tow, this is the only place to call. Fair price and friendly service is almost non-existent in today's world. Surprisingly, you get both a Hix Wrecker. I highly recommend Hix. Absolutely the worst wrecker company and service, hands down. Avoid at all cost!! They are extremely expensive and rude. Oh, and not to mention all the extra fees they charge. I call them fraud and would suggest using any one else besides them. Don’t let them fool you, they price gouge. They will not adjust any invoice or price. They charge you $50 to tow the car to the gate to get it back if it doesn’t drive. You have no other option. They also charged $120 for a lien they say is required but didn’t even have the car 48 hours. This company is fraud. It is a joke and they take advantage of situations to benefit themselves. Over $550 later we have our car back. The owner is not willing to work with anyone and will get the price as high as she can. Steer clear unless you like throwing money around. I’m appalled at how horrible they are. They will respond to provide the invoice number but is unwilling to make any adjustments: BEWARE
First let me say the driver was Great. Called Hix on Monday to move a 40 ft high cube an 1/8 of a mile. Explained it was not hurry but needed a heads up so we could unload it ,move it 200 feet and reload it. Set it up for Wednesday with dispatch was told cost will be $275. Called Wednesday morning to confirm, was told everything was good they would be there afternoon. We unloaded the container into the parking lot around 1pm. At 5:45pm I called and was I told they will not make it. After some talk they did tell me a driver could be there in 90 minutes. (7:15pm). At 8:15pm the driver arrived. Good guy, just doing his job. Moved the container then asked for $330 .”BOSS said $330”. I had $280, again confirmed $275 at time of order. I got some more cash to pay the driver as it is not his fault again just doing his job.

I went in to hix to see what they had for a cheap used single tire for my car and they had a unbelievable deal for a set of 4 brand new wheels and tires. I just couldn't be more happy with how little i spent. If I were to go to the tire shop such as discount tire I would have spent a $530.89 for a set of four wheels and tires without warranty. I saved almost 400 bucks on the dot with Hix wrecker. Thank u guys ill definitely be coming bk for more deals.
