This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
Speedway Auto Parts in Indianapolis, IN earns a strong thumbs-up: helpful, knowledgeable, often above-and-beyond staff, quick counter service, fair-to-great pricing, and a solid selection (even paint matching). Common knocks: occasional lack of niche items, a few reports of not being acknowledged, and a tight parking lot; prices can be a bit higher than chain stores at times. Inventory is generally good but not exhaustive; little info on yard organization. Overall sentiment: positive and consistent. Score: 90/100.
What clients say about Speedway Auto Parts in Indianapolis (IN)
Very nice staff very professional took time to go to another store for fuel filter.
They all deserve a raise.
I was 100 miles from home
I thank you all that was working there on 4/24/2026 at the hours of 15 and 17 ?
Very helpful and knowledgable staff. When I visited, I just told them what type of items I was looking for and what I was trying to do, and they pointed me to and even fetched the parts for me. I highly recommend shopping here for your auto part needs. Side note: Be careful as you pull in and pull out of the parking space since it's not too big and is right on the busy 16th St.
Very good selection and much better prices then the box stores. The knowledge is unbeatable these guys have been around. Only a minor hiccup that was easily remedied.
Second time coming here with the same poor customer service. You walk in & wait in line for a few minutes & dont get acknowledged. Horrible place. I spent my money elsewhere!
Great place to go they are very convienent. To go to but the prices are a little higher than autozone but if you want someone that knows what they are talking about then you should skip autozone and come here
Nice lil shop. I only needed couple things but they did have them for a fair price and the counter man got everything ready for me. I'd recommend this lil shop to anyone in the area. It's nice to get hood service. It's something I truly appreciate
We were in Indy yesterday for a job interview for my son. That went great but when we left, we went a couple blocks and car started overheating. I tried to do what I knew but typed in closest auto parts store. Well thank God it lead me to these guys. We first looked for a part til he realized it was more work than any one person could do. It needed a garage and mechanics. He called three garages for us and found one. Then he called a wrecker service and got us hooked up there. Also located a radiator for car so garage would know where to get. And all the while still waiting on customers. So in the world today where it’s great to be from a small town cause big cities are too impersonal and busy, this big city auto parts store sure made me feel the small town feeling. Great guys who care about customers. Thank you!
Great employees. Very helpful but don't always have what u need. The guy that helped me even took the effort to get on Amazon to help find the part i needed!!
