I called Pull-a-part to sell them my suburban the dispatch department told me the hauler would be to pick my vehicle up between 8-am and 5-pm March 1st 2025. I waited for 5 hours for the hauler to show up, finally at 4:45pm I called the dispatch back they called the hauler 3way, so I could speak with him directly. He tells me he won’t be able to pick my car until the morning. March 2nd 2025 the hauler calls this morning a says to meet him at 12:00pm at my vehicle for pick up. It’s now 1:23 pm and the hauler still has not arrived. The location were my vehicle is sitting is 30 minutes away from Pull-a-part in Indianapolis ,Indiana. Granite it’s a free pick up service but the communication with the junk vehicle owners needs to be improved exponentially so people are not waiting for hours an hour for 2 days in a row.

Another example of money hungry corporations buying and ruining businesses instead of leaving well enough alone. Used to be able to get in and out of here with a few odds and ends under $50. Now you jump through 40 hoops, get stuck with some cashier who doesn’t know what half of the parts are, and therefore you can even look up the prices online and you still could pay something completely different. A door lock cylinder is listed for $3+fees and tax. I pulled 3, and the cashier insisted they were β€œdoor lock actuators” which are ENTIRELY different. And they’re electrical, so unlike the lock cylinder they are pricey, $15 plus tax. I bargained for $20 or less and instead was faced with $45 plus fees and tax. The last 3 times I’ve went here I had 4-10 items when I went to the register and always end up leaving with a maximum of 2. Not because I didn’t want them, because of their staffs incompetence and their ever-increasing outrageous pricing. $30 for a key fob that half of the time is broken and/or covered in god knows what, for example. I used to frequent here, but now will be staying far away. There’s another yard across town that is much cleaner, cheaper, and easier to get around if you don’t want to rent one of their golf carts pull a part offers, although the majority of the time they’re either broken or employees couldn’t be bothered to charge them the night before.

This place is trash. The girl at the check in desk acts like she's secret service guarding the president. It's used parts. She said it was 2 dollars to go look if they had what I needed but charged me 6 dollars. I don't know why I paid it. I had to pay to go see if they had the parts I needed that I would have had to take off myself. What? I will never come back to this place. I'll just order my parts. Ya I'll pay a little more for quality parts that I don't have to spend a day looking for and removing.
