I called to have my 2006 Nissan Maxima picked up. It was a very nice clean car fully loaded & still driveable. The issue i was having was the car jerking alot when accelerating because transmission fluid was leaking from the axle seals. I put over $5000 of work into this car. I put it in the shop several times but nobody was able to fix it & kept telling me to replace the transmission. At that point i decided to get rid of it & put the money I get for selling the car towards another vehicle. This place has more good reviews than bad ones, so i decided to give it a try. I called this place every day for 5 days. The last day someone finally answered the phone. The guy i spoke with over the phone was very nice & polite. I told him the run down on the car & he offered me $420. Which was the best price any one else had offered me. We set up a pickup appointment for that same day at 11:00am. Mind you I had an dentist appointment that same day at 2:00pm. Nobody came at the appointment time but i know that time fluctuates so its more than likely unlikely for someone show up on time. So i gave them more time. 12:30pm nobody has came yet so i called & someone picked up the phone & hung up twice. So i called again & another guy picked up & said, "YOU NEED TO STOP CALLING BACK TO BACK LIKE THAT, HOLD ON," & he put the phone down & then the phone hangs up AGAIN. He said it in such a rude & disrespectful way i didn't even know what to say. The first guy i spoke with called back. At that time it was 1:02pm. I told him that i had been waiting since 11:00am. I have a dentist appointment at 2:00pm.... so on & so on. I also told him how rude the other guy spoke to me. He apologize & promised that the driver was in route & would be at my home in the next 20 mins. At this point i had to call my dentist office to reschedule my appointment & some doctors/dentists offices charge $75 if you dont show up to your appointment & $75 if you reschedule your appointment. I have been going to this dentist since i was a kid & never have i ever not showed or rescheduled any of my appointments. I waited at home all day that day only for nobody to ever show up, answer the phone, return my phone calls or NOTHING! I basically paid a $75 fee for my car not to be picked up. That was bullshit & i was highly upset about it. I even waited to see if they would at least try to make things right but even up to today nobody has ever called me back to apologize, give an explanation or anything. So now i have decided that i will be filing a Class Action Claim & a complaint with the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division first thing on Monday morning. They mediate and investigate all consumer complaints against businesses and take legal action on behalf of the state against companies that violate Indiana’s Deceptive Consumer Sales Act. Including false or misleading communication to consumers. I am sorry that i had to post this review but i do not recommend anyone to do business with Ace Midtown. They have terrible time management skills. They are very unprofessional, very careless & they business practices are very unethical.
I was a little unsure pulling into this yard due to it looking like a total dump hole but I decided to go thru with it. They were all super polite my only thing is I had to wait quite awhile for the guy to get there sp i could look at the parts i needed. Besides waiting they seemed to all be friendly enough. They do have a lot of parts for toyota. I will be back for future toyota needs.
My only thing is maybe don't make paying customers wait on you for 30 minutes, was really the only complaint other than that they went out of their way to help get me what I needed.
I called, they missed my call. So, they text me back super promptly. When they didn't have what I was looking for they were nice enough to not only locate what I needed for me, but sent me all the info. for it as well. Amazing customer service. Thanks again.
Extremely helpfully gives fair and honest prices for junk cars and goes above and beyond when it counts to helping you find the right parts EVEN if they don’t have them them still are willing to help you find them hands down one of the nicest interactions I have have with a junk yard in a long time

I called and spoke to Anthony about rims my friend needed, He didn't have any, but he looked and found a place that did and text the number and a picture. Ace Midtown is definitely worth calling first, couldn't have dealt with a nicer person than Anthony.
They answered the phone almost immediately. I called several junk car places. No answers at all. They were quick to make an appointment and give me a great price. Will be doing more business through this company. Drivers are also very professional and good about business.

We had good conversation while he worked to get my car ready to tow, and even let me pet his dog. He said I reminded him of his mother...on that note, I sent him home with fresh baked chicken, store- bought cookies, and a bottle of water. Aj from Ace Midtown was both professional & personable. He provided my fiancé & the BEST customer service that we have received in years! Also, Ace Midtown offered significantly more money than the other places that were called. To put it bluntly, Zores offered only $100 compared to Ace Midtown’s offer of $800.
We recently bought a new to us vehicle last Friday. At first, we had a fantastic experience. Mr. Chris, the owner, was very professional, accommodating and friendly. He spoke to my husband and quelled all our concerns about the vehicle we ended up buying from him.
We specifically inquired about the A/C as we have a very young child and were told by Mr. Chris that the A/C worked so well that if we put drinks into the glove box it would cool them. We took particular interest in purchasing this particular vehicle over others offered to us because of the working A/C.
There were some other issues we were willing to over look. But for the sake of the review include: Mr. Chris claiming he had no idea my grandma was coming to pick up the vehicle Friday despite our correspondence throughout the entire day and him confirming he received my message she would be there slightly after 7pm. Mr. Chris also told us the tires were brand new. But upon receiving the vehicle we noticed not only was one of the "brand new tires" flat but had gouges out of the side. As noted by the mechanic today, is not in fact "brand new". (update
The updated cost to fix the tire was about $122 and the issues we had to fix the actual vehicle to make it road safe was about $713. The cost to fix the A/C is about $800 (needs a A/C Compressor kit, dryer and orfice tube + labour.) with out the cost of freon. Also invested $50 of freon to try and recharge it and a can of fix a flat to even drive the vehicle home to our mechanic since towing wasn't feasible. )
My family and I were told a few different things about who the car actually belonged to. My husband was told Mr.Chris was selling it for a friend. My grandma and cousin (who picked up the car) said they were told that Mr. Chris and his friend had bought the car together to fix and sell. Very odd inconsistencies.
I messaged Mr.Chris about his false advertisement on the A/C Saturday asking for $300 to fix the A/C and make this issue right. As he had advertised it as working. We waited until today to write a negative review as he had told my grandma he had a baby shower for his baby this past Saturday, I believe.
Only thing he had said was he had not actually checked the A/C recently.
He did not respond to my other message to him about fixing this issue.
Mr. Chris bragged about how he was an honest man to my grandma and how his clients know him for that. But honesty is not what we experience with him or his company.
I'm willing to amend my review if Mr. Chris and his company takes responsibility for this issue of false advertising/information and corrects it as asked.
Amendment:Mr. Chris Pringle has been in contact and said that he would refund the 300 to help offset the cost of the parts that were advertised as functional however, the last messages I received was he needed a week and then I checked in with him more recently can he said he was waiting on his convertor guy so he could refund us with no further contact and no refund. He is so far ghosting us. We waited well over a month for a refund that was to take a week.
Do NOT do business here we sorely regret trusting this man and this business and will likely be contacting the BBB and the State Attorney General Office as we still have not heard back from Mr. Chris Pringle.
These guys are about the business. Fast,pro professional and time oriented. I waited all day for pull a part and these guys showed up within an hour. What really makes me favorite them is the high level of communication. The driver was phenomenal and taught me a few things while loading my car. Great service great people. Midtown recycling and Westside Midtown car parts have given me the best customer service I have ever experienced in the salvage industry. They were honest, fast, and friendly and I would recommend to anyone that is trying to sell there car for cash or purchase car parts to give Midtown your business. If they don't have the specific part that you want they will steer you in the right direction to get what you need. They really do put there customers above all. I salute you Ace Midtown.
First off, everyone i spoke with were nice. The interactions were good. The problem is after verifying the well used car from 03 had title, catalytic converter, battery and no flat tires; i was quoted a price of $210 without the title. The next day i spoke to a different person to verify the pickup time but this time the person quoted a price of $150 because of the lack of title. This change in price raised my suspension that they probably would change the price again before the transaction was completed. Well not to my surprise, when they arrived to pick up the car they did have a new reason not to pay me their quoted price. All these other reviews (which are clearly paid for) do not state your quote will probably not be what you will ultimately be paid. Your old vehicle isn't worth much but know what you are getting into. Ps. While waiting on the tow to arrive, i knew i probably would be writing this review. Unfortunately they didn't prove me wrong. At least they were nice.
Messaged them on Facebook for a quote, and they picked up my car a day later! Junior was very friendly and mentioned some of the different parts/prices they have. I was offered more than other junk yards offered. Overall, very good experience. I will definitely work with Ace Midtown again. ☺️

Super nice guy. Very responsive. Missed my appointment by a little because the earlier call was a BIG job. However, he got right back with me, set a new time and was on it.
There isn’t a lot of wiggle room on scrapping price unless you’ve got a late model vehicle, but his was the best quote I got after calling a few others.

Had a great experience with these guys. Everything they said was spot on. Their guy showed up on time, and paid me a great price for our car. It all started when I broke down on 465 going to work. The tow truck driver showed up and actually gave me a ride to work which was very nice of them. It ended with cash in my hand. Very satisfied with the outcome of this. I am disappointed I blew the engine in our Mazda but still happy I didn’t have to pay for a tow and didn’t lose my job. Thank you Anthony !

I was looking to junk my '96 Chevy cavalier, so I called several different places for a quote. Ace Midtown had the fastest response time and I feel like they gave me more than what I was looking for price wise. When the tow truck driver showed up (on time!) he was very polite and friendly, as the person on the phone was as well, not quite sure if it was the same person, my overall experience with this company was phenomenal. Everything was also done in a timely, professional manner.

One of the most rude people I have ever spoke with on the phone. First he answers the phone like he is at home. Then he says what do you have for sale, I say I don't have anything for sale I'm looking for parts. Do you do that, Sell parts? He goes not to you with your attitude. I said what attitude? I told him I've been on the phone all day looking for parts. I won't sell you any parts. What a jerk! I had absolutely zero attitude until after he said he wouldn't sell to me, then I copped and attitude and told him exactly what he was! AH! Too bad for them. Must be nice to be doing so well as to chase customers away! They just lost a lot of business.
