I wish I could give zero stars. Walked into this store today and was immediately hit with an overwhelming stench of cat urine so strong it made my eyes water. Not a faint “maybe there’s a litter box somewhere” smell — I’m talking pure, eye-burning, ammonia-soaked cat-pee fog that had clearly been festering for months if not years. The inside looks exactly as bad as it smells. Floors sticky and filthy, shelves dusty and disorganized, random trash and food wrappers scattered around. Worst part: there are clearly people living in the back/storage area. Saw two individuals who appeared to be permanent residents — dirty clothes, sleeping bags/blankets piled up, personal belongings everywhere, and one guy openly eating what looked like cold takeout straight off a cardboard box on the floor. The “employees” (if you can call them that) were just as grimy — stained clothes, unwashed hair, one of them barefoot behind the counter. No one seemed to care that customers were gagging from the smell or stepping around their living space. This isn’t just poor upkeep — it’s unsanitary, unsafe, and honestly disgusting. I left without buying anything and will never step foot in there again. If health inspectors ever show up they’re going to have a field day (or a nightmare). Steer clear unless you enjoy smelling like cat piss for the rest of the day. Absolutely revolting

Wow just wow. This place is a wonderland of amazing finds. Be prepared to spend some time perusing all of it's hidden gems. If you love picking you must see this place. The owners have a very good eye.

Over 30 cats on the property according to the owner. There was a 6 week old kitten that was malnourished dehydrated ridden with fleas and had eye infections. Offered to take it to a vet and he wouldn’t let us.

Family owned business, absolutely full of amazing gems, truly do not know what your going to find here but definitely stop by and take that adventure. The owner is super nice and friendly. Great deals, stop by!

Fun place to take your time and find hidden treasures. John is always great with his customer service and seems to always be there when you have a question. A Ybor City must do and a Tampa gem.

Great place to find all types of vintage and salvaged items. Really enjoyed my experience and the neighborhood cats were so adorable. Great customer service, I had no question unanswered. I am a constant customer and they are always getting new and amazing items. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

The prices are cheap but the items are even cheaper. If you were to garbage pick 50 houses and open up a store, this would be it. For the right person, there might be something interesting at a good price but for most people, it's just a no.

Got some really cool fabrics and granny squares for a great price. Worth checking out if you can handle the Florida weather and getting a little dirty digging for treasure. Fun stop!

High hopes, big disappointment. Walking up the plants and metal made it look really cool but it smelled so bad of cat urine, it was hard to shop for long. Very poorly organized. Very dirty-hints 'stained' market. Lots of broken stuff. Many things not clearly priced. Felt like it was an inconvenience to be there. There may be treasure somewhere but between the smell and musty-rusty items, it was discouraging to proceed forward. Not very friendly staff.

This is such an amazing and unique place to shop and find what you need right in the neighborhood. The customer service support is very helpful and kind and i gladly appreciated getting the help i needed to find what i needed for my new DIY project. Stained market place has everything you need and never knew you could need. It’s a very great family owned business and i will be shopping here again. I recommend anyone to shop here.

Just went there with my mom, so much cool stuff! We ended up getting some plates and a cool wooden cat decoration. The worker there was also very friendly!

Cute little junkyard style antique store. Open air, so it can be hot here in FL. Some things are a bit pricey but if you dig and visit from time to time you’ll find something that catches your eye. I found cute vintage jackolantern candle holders, record stand, beret and a few other things that made me return. Go check it out.

Stained Market Place in Tampa is kind of a junky warehouse of things but there are small treasures to be found. Prices were high.

Took a day in May to hit a bunch of antique shops. Out of the list this one stands out!! Great prices, air flow, and friendly people. It’s not huge, it’s not small. Great size and lots to look through. Highly recommend!

Came into town on a trip to visit some of the vintage and thrift stores in the area for the weekend. Decided to stop at this market because it opened earlier than some of the other places and from what I could tell seemed to be an assortment of items. When I arrived no one was in the store so I walked around looking at the items. This place is basically a warehouse with stuff just piled up in unorganized heaps and thrown on shelves. I did not have a problem with this as some of the best items can be found in places like this. However about 80% of the items were not priced . Anything that was collectible or vintage was in terrible condition, covered in dust. The handful of vintage items that are priced are priced at what you find them for at better kept antique malls. After I walked the entire store I finally picked up an item and walked around to the other side of the building to see if I could find anyone to give me an idea on price as no one was still in the store. A man finally came out of a side door and I asked him about a price.. to which he said he had to call someone ...as I was waiting for the price I asked about some of the other non priced items. He replied “oh the humidity must have made the prices fall off... but they won’t be cheap” very strange response. Was he assuming I wouldn’t be able to afford the items I was inquiring about ? He acted like I was inconveniencing him by asking for prices. When I asked about if he could discount some fall decor by $2.00 if I bought the set. He responded with “ I don’t put price on things so I can sell them cheaper “ I was taken a back by this very rude response as I was very polite in my question. All that needed to be said was prices here are fixed. It is not unusual for someone who shops large amounts of vintage collectibles to see if there is flexibility on the prices when buying more than one item. Most times when thing are not priced there is flexibility on prices. After that comment and still waiting for a price on the basket I decided not to spend my money here. I think this is fine for someone who wants items to salvage or repurpose cheap. But for someone who is looking to buy collectibles or vintage in high volume and/or looking for items in good condition at a good price this is not the place. Better customer service and prices reflecting the conditions these items are kept in would have made for a better experience. Fortunately there are so many other places in Tampa that do a better job that I was happy to spend my money at.

I frequent this place often. I love the DIY aspect of it, however I LOVE all the vintage treasures to be found. The owners are awesome people and everyone who works there will go out of their way to help with what ever you ask or need. Definitely check this place out!

Great spot for well-priced unique finds! The owner was extremely helpful in assisting me to get this painting from his shop to my home, ratchet strapping it to the top of our car for me. It’s a perfect addition to my new home. Excellent customer service and we will for sure be back!

This store is a rarity and by far my favorite place to be. I travel all over and never have I seen such an amazing concept. I wish you guys were every where! The outstanding pieces and trinkets make the experience so worth it. I can get lost in there for hours upon hours at a time. The customer service is great, the things they sell are at top quality, it’s the perfect place to shop in my opinion.

I’m just stop by for the first time look for something to make a planters. Got some old glass lamps is perfect and the price just right. Happy about this.

A really unique store that hosts a flea market every week, with local artists and vendors selling their stuff. It's a really eclectic place full of oddball hardware and other knick-knacks. You will have a great time just looking!

The most incredible place in the world, where they make sense of the mess. I want to take home everything I see. This is a must on your way to Ybor.
