Please do not buy from this guy if you are far away. This man do not stand on business. I purchase a 2010 transmission from this man, and he sent me the wrong one. My transmission mechanic talk to this man for hours. Explaining to him that they made more than one 2010 trans... He said he even told him to look it up. He still refuses to make it right so i am forced to order the trans from a dealership he's a crook. He very rude and nasty please ppl don't order this man trash. He will try to sell u anything. Also, he told me it would be there in 3-4 days it took over 10
I was sent a picture of an engine and received a completely different engine from the picture was told that the engine had 79,000 miles ended up finding out that the engine had over 135,000 When I asked for proof of mileage, I never received it was Mack will overcharge you and lie worse experience I have ever had ..
I trusted the process and prayed and Jesus came thru for me!!!!!! I needed a new transmission asap and they got me exactly what I asked for. Adam helped me out and had outstanding customer service! By the way I ordered and recieved the transmission about 3-5 months ago and I am so blessed and pleased I ddnt pay more than 1200 for it and it was amazing quality I wil definitely use them again in the future. Just take ur time and talk with Adam and he will make sure u get what u need and it’s cool he even called to check-in on me and the transmission like 2 weeks ago I jus missed the call!
Pitstop Autoparts Adam Miller sold us a defective transmission purchased from on 01/23/2025. The transmission, 2019 Toyota Camry Transmission 2.5L, A25AFKS engine, Toyota manufacturer (North America build, was represented as being in good working condition at the time of sale.
However, shortly after purchase/installation it became evident that the transmission was not in the represented condition and is, in fact, defective. It was determined by the Toyota dealership technician that the following issues were found.Notes from dealership.;
VERIFIED CUSTOMER CONCERN, INSPECTED VEHICLE AND CONFIRMED
IT DOES NOT MOVE. NO CODES STORED IN ECU, FOUND COMPENSATION
CODES WERE NOT TRANSFERRED TO THE ECU AND TRANS FLUID IS
EXCESSIVELY LOW. ENTERED CODES INTO ECU AND ADJUSTED FLUID
LEVEL TO SPEC, FOUND VEHICLE STILL DOES NOT MOVE. LOOKED AT
DATA LIST TO FIND TRANSMISSION HAS INTERNAL FAILURE BASED ON
DATA AND FLUID PUMP IS MAKING EXCESSIVE NOISE WHEN RUNNING.
RECOMMEND REPLACING TRANSMISSION.
We paid $3300.00, ended up having to purchase new one from another company. Had to pay to ship the defective one back and it was claimed there was a chip broken in shipping. We agreed to pay for the welding 300-500 if that's what it costs. We have yet to hear from Shawn or Mr. Miller regarding our refund. Their excuse was they purchased it from a shady guy and he has screwed them on other parts and owes them a lot of money but they cannot afford to pay our refund.
We have been extremely patient with these guys and still today have not received a refund of our 3300$ or any communication from this company now they are dodging calls. This was the worst dealing ever. Please be warned they are a scam. Although we are pursuing legal action now, this company needs to be held accountable for the next people who may not be able to afford the hurdles we have had to endure during this time. They are rude and misleading be careful on any dealings with them.
I needed an engine for my Toyota and the best deal we could find in the country that would shipped to us PitStop. Spoke with Mack Collins throughout the process who was very responsive and straightforward.
We ran into a couple bumps in the payment process and I will be honest, as a recent victim of a scam I was a little nervous using Zelle, and I was having problems on my end with that, and at one point I almost aborted the transaction, but in the end, I opted to use my bank card and pay the fee which I believe he was sincerely trying to help me avoid. But in the end, I’m glad I went with this engine and I couldn’t be happier with it. He was also very responsive when I called him a few weeks later to ask him a question about standard business practice in the auto parts industry in regards to cores and deposits, when a mechanic tried to charge me extra, claiming it was a core charge.
It was not, and Mack helped me to understand that. So, Thank you, Mack and PitStop !

transmission mount bolt threads stripped on 5 out of six. Got the run around from both people I dealt with--they claimed it a "minor" issue -- mounting bolt threads important since they hold tranny to engine. Both men were rude, talked over me, butted in when I was talking. Would not replace tranny unless I paid shipping to return the one with bad threads and on the replacement. If I were on an old fashioned stage coach and got held up by the Jesse James gang I would not feel any more cheated. On a basis of 1 out of 10 -- I rate them minus 10.
Shady parts broker. They operate out of an office in a strip mall. They do not have any actual inventory. You are paying them to broker parts from actual auto recyclers. They lie about mileage and warranty. I will never deal with them again.

I have to say that I’m very picky about who I buy parts from, as there’s some real shady people out there. With that said, I was very impressed by pit stop’s costumer service. They kept me updated constantly and the shipping was incredibly fast and reliable considering the amazing state the transmission came. I definitely would recommend them and for certain I will use their services again.
Mack from Pit Stop always takes care of me on used parts, I have never had to return a faulty part from them, they are very competitive on pricing and I always get my parts super quick
I was very hesitant to send $4077.00 to a company I was not completely sure about. I took a leap of faith, but had no real assurances I was going get anything in return. But they came through with a great used engine that looked like new inside and out. I worked with Mack Collin’s and he provided what he promised. I will say there were some issues with the quote after it was sent to me but they honored the quoted price. It took 2 full weeks after full payment to get the engine, so don’t think your part will get there any sooner. Be sure you agree on the price and any local delivery fees before you pay so there are no misunderstandings. They came back and asked for more money two times and I ended up giving them another $120 for a residential delivery fee even though my mechanic works out of a building on a main street. Bottom line is I got what I paid for, it just took a couple weeks to get it. I have asked for the vin of the car the engine came from to verify the mileage but have yet to receive it. If I do, I will update this review. The engine I got from them was good so I recommend them if the price and warranty is right. Always shop around and don’t be afraid to negotiate the price no matter who you talk to. Last they do work like a call center out of a home in Tampa. I assume this is because they procure parts from different sources and do not keep parts in stock at their own expense. My engine came from Houston, TX.
On 3/18/03, I ordered an engine for my 2008 Hyundai Elantra.
Unfortunately, upon inspection by my certified mechanic, it was evident that the engine is in very poor condition a jumble of rust. My mechanic strongly advised against installing it due to safety concerns and possible damage to my vehicle.
I promptly contacted him several times to express my dissatisfaction and request a refund. However, I have not received a satisfactory response. They tell me they are only going to refund me $300 for an "engine" that they sold me for $1188. It is important to note that they do not even have an office they are simply phone operators buying reviews to take advantage of the unwary like me.

Do not buy from them. Was promised free shipping had to pay 50$ because they had problems with their shipping company and also took them 3 to 4 days to ship my motor after the agreed date just for me to call and have to pay 50$, then I finally got the motor and it’s disgusting at 120k miles now i have to spend more money to change parts just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else and i have yet to be refunded my 50$ for shipping cause apparently the manager was sick.

Worst experience. Promised delivery of a transmission for my company van in 2 to 4 days. After I paid for the transmission delivery went to 5 to 10 days. Promised to text me tracking information that I asked for daily, but never sent it. I finally had to call the trucking company myself get actual delivery information. Pitstop initially took payment from my card and never sent me an invoice. I had to contact them two days after they received their payment to demand the invoice. And it went downhill from there. Continuous stream of lies and stalling.
Hole on one valve cover and oil pan was cracked along with bracket for alternator had been welded which broke. If I had not had the old motor in which to take parts from, it would have cost me a lot more.
Great customer service, received a quality engine fast, good shipping experience. I received a hard to find Porsche Boxster S 3.2L engine , shipped across the country and still works great today.
Only reason I give them 4 stars is because, I was charged an extra $80.°° dollars so it could be delivered to my residence and then I was told by the delivery service it would take two more weeks to be delivered being only 3milrs from my residence So I had to pick it up myself. Once I relayed this message to pit stop, they said they couldn't refund the $80.°°, or I would of gave them 5 stars ?

Just purchased a replacement engine for my vehicle. Also, dealing with my 4th diagnosis of Covid at the same time. Adam Miller was my company contact throughout the entire process. He was patient, knowledgeable and more than helpful. He walked me through the process at my pace. Always with a kind word for me and he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and confident in the purchase. He deserves a raise for this one.
