Absolutely terrible experience with Safely Towing in Tampa. These guys are scammers, plain and simple. They towed my boat without clear communication, then held it hostage and charged me $600 for it—no breakdown, no explanation, just an outrageous fee. When I called to ask what was going on, they were rude, dismissive, and shady as hell. I wouldn’t trust them with a bicycle, let alone a boat. Avoid them at all costs unless you want to get ripped off and treated like garbage.
This is the absolute worst tow truck company. DO NOT USE THEM! They ruined our vehicle then charged us 350.00 to get the car out of their lot. WE CALLED THEM to tow us in an emergency. They ruined our vehicle by dragging the bumper on the ground then ripping it off then CHARGING us money. The two "men" we had to deal with were the tow truck driver and the manager. Both were absolute jerks. They yelled at me. They wanted us to sign a paper saying they are not responsible for what they did. We refused. We have a video. I will be taking them to small claims.
In repose to their reply… The bumper was dragged and ruined from Miguel the tow truck driver. He admitted to it. Here is a screenshot of a video of him ripping the bumper from the vehicle. If you would like to see the video reach out and I will share it. Again, do not use this towing company. They are careless, rude and worst of all thrives. The vehicle is running and I’m coming after you for the cost of the bumper.

Trash customer service. I cancelled my tire change with them because of their poor customer service. How do you just put people on hold without telling them and then when I call back and actually speak to someone she has an attitude because I called back because she didn’t say anything when she got on the phone. Weirdo vibes and I would only use if I absolutely needed.
So I had a flat on the USF parking deck. Call my roadside and they sent safety towing to my rescue. They were prompt, courteous and took great care of my car. I want to shout out to Manuel, he is great at his job and a really nice guy. Thank you Safety Towing and thank you Manuel. Highly recommended.
I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Called and the gentlemen was at our car to tow it within in 10 minutes. Very polite and helpful and accommodating. Call these guys if you’re in a bind. Keep being great!

Worse customer experience service experience ever. I recently got into a wreck so I needed my car to be towed to the mechanic . I called get my car towed and was told $140 but told the individual I need to wait until I get out of work so I can meet the driver. The rep agreed to that and then I called an hour later and they increased the amount to $200. The individual was beyond rude while I explained that we most spoke and gave no concern that I just got off the phone with him. Thankfully I found a tow company that towed my car for $125 to my destination and was quick and nice. I will never go to the scam of a company…
Scam. Shady business practices. They either have someone parked down the street by Mr Empanada on Kennedy or someone sits in front of the cameras in Mr empanada and calls them. All the other reviews on google and Better Business Bureau state just about the same thing that happened to us. Signage wasn’t visible from the side street but claim it’s legal that way. They had our car on a truck around the corner and were magically able to bring it around cause they know exactly what they’re doing scamming people. Don was my driver, and I'm very satisfied with him! He arrived ahead of the scheduled ETA. He got me and my old Explorer to the destination quickly and was very professional and courteous. This was definitely one of my best towing experiences.
I would definitely recommend safely towing. We had a very scary situation with our car stopping out of no where in the middle of I4 late at night. The communication was fast and easy also friendly and understanding. Even though it was late our car was picked up and safely and towed over 70 miles! The tow truck driver positioned the car just like I asked and it was overall a very good experience. I even accidentally paid a very high tip and they had no problem refunding that to me.
Great help when i was in a jam. Response time was very quick. Communication from the tow truck driver Don was great letting me know what was going on with updates till he arrived. As well as recommendations on what to do with the vehicle with my dealership being closed on that day. Huge help Don top notch service!
Don was there within a half an hour. We were going to take our car to Mercedes of Tampa for a tire leak and more than likely not have our car all weekend. He recommended two other places right around the corner from our house and we were up and running in 15 minutes. Don was great and would use him again and recommend him to others.
Allstate called this service under my roadside assistance program. I was in a restaurant parking lot with a totally dead car. He was there in 15 minutes, picked up my car and took it to a shop 30 miles away. I'm 70+ and have required road side service often. This was the best, most professional experience I've had. Finally, someone who takes pride in his business. Thank you.
I was stranded with a flat tire and called my road assistance service which sent Safely Towing. Don came to my rescue; he arrived well before the estimated time and promptly took control of the situation to get my vehicle towed to the dealership for a replacement. Thank you Don for the prompt and friendly service.
I drive a moped so towing is always a pain, but Don helped this process be a breeze! He was prompt and only took 30 mins from request to arrival. The entire experience he had a good attitude and friendly personality. Found the parking lot even though I put the address in wrong, and safely locked down my moped in an extremely experienced and efficient way. On the drive there I followed him in a friends car and he drove super safe and always got in the correct lane in advance. Compared to other towing experiences Don and the entirety of Safely Towing excels.
This service was great! I’m fairly new to being an adult and didn’t really know what to do so when Don showed up to help tow my car it was great! He communicated very well, came earlier than expected and drove me to my home all in the matter of an hour and a half. Very quick and efficient and was so nice to talk to on the ride over. Would highly recommend..I definitely know who I’m calling if I ever need there service again :)
Requested towing for my moms drained battery on her car and we had the pleasure to have Don throughout our experience! He was very communicative and went above average to have my moms car towed to the dealership including turning in the key to the advisor at the dealership to check us in for our appointment time even though we were not there at the site of pickup or dropoff which is pretty amazing! Prompt, fair pricing and safe. My car was on the 9th floor of a parking garage with some tight turns… driver did an outstanding job and was very friendly .
After being stranded by AAA for almost 4 hours, I was finally able to get my car towed. It’s was a long and stressful day, but James and Safely Towing made it much better. I’ll have to be honest, I was a little over bearing because I just had such a horrible experience, so I kept asking him for updates. He stayed in contact and updated me every step of the way! Absolutely the best service from a tow company, and I 1000000% recommend using them!

Don was truly professional and was very helpful. I really appreciated how quickly they were able to get to me and get my car picked up. Don's communication was fantastic and he kept me updated on when he was on route as well as when he was close to my apartment. 10/10 I am absolutely using their services again!
Don is the best tow truck driver I have ever dealt with. He was great communicating timing and great at getting my car on the rollback. Even had good stories for the drive to the dealership.

I am the owner of Bootleggers Winery in Brandon and we pride ourselves on awesome customer service. Today was a challenge with two consecutive flat tires and the tow truck overheated on the way to the tire shop. I love when companies and people go above and beyond to help customers but this place is unreal. The gentleman that was helping us explained he would check the tire shop across from where he was just see if they could help fix the tire so I wasn't delayed another day. 10 minutes later he sent me a message that he had already paid for a tire to get put on my car because of the delay. He then continued to deny me privilege of repaying him. Simply Amazing WOW. I have never been treated with such kindness and respect and will always refer people to Safely Towing where they actually take care of you and treat you like a human being. Progressive Insurance made a good choice putting you guys on their list. If you break down. Don't call anywhere else. You and your staff are always welcome to come by the Winery and get some wine anytime... thank you thank you thank you for saving my day
Great company that was very pleasant to me! The lady Ashley who answered the phone was very nice to me, gave me a good quote, and let me change the scheduled date with no problems. The driver himself Tyson was super nice and very professional, he got here right when they said he would and hooked my car up and had it on its way in no time. Hopefully I won't have to get towed again but if I do it will definitely be with them again
Had a flat tire on the highway today and called Safely Towing for assistance. The company was busy and stated it would take about 35 minutes for assistance. The man working dispatch came to my rescue within 25 minutes. He was kind, professional and ensured his safety as well as mine before changing the tire. He took care to ensure my car wasn't damaged while working and provided a referral to a 24 hour tire shop nearby. Thanks, guys! Excellent job!
I have never used this company before with that said I will use them from now on. We have Good Sam club membership and this is who was called. James arrived in 10 minutes I know this is not always possible but it happened. He was more than willing to answer any questions. He took photos of the truck before it was loaded (I thinks that was a good thing) I had a issue with how Good Sam handled things and had to call the office I spoke with Ashley she was very professional and more than willing to try to help. I'm 110% happy with Safely Towing and will use them and keep them in mind for anyone who is in need of a tow truck. James and Ashley have done a great job running the company keep up the hard work good job thank you for your help in stressful situation.
I decided to edit this review because on the 13th of this month my car had to be towed due to an accident. I reached out to Ashley although I was probably losing my mind when I called her to come tow my car she was more than willing to help. Now let's be real this is a business and they are here to make money but it is more then just the money with safely towing. They truly treat you like people and understand that life happens she was more than willing to work with me on my schedule to allow me to get what I was not able to get out of my truck. Stress free towing I did not have to worry about my car I left them the key and they came and got it with no issues at all once again thank you and your number is in my phone for future use.
