They have my friends car hostage. They have taken over 6 months to make repairs and refuse to let her see the car or take it to a new auto body shop. She refuses to provide photos or the progress and provides false deadlines. This company is fraudulent and do not bring your car here for repairs or you’ll end having to get a lawyer just to be able to get your car released. 0/10 recommend

We have used this shop twice. Once for insurance repairs for a fender bender for ourselves and once to partially paint my aunt's car. We were extremely satisfied with the repairs and quality of the service and are very happy to recommend their services to anyone. Brittany kept us updated and handled all the insurance matters for us and we did not have to get involved at all. It's in a bit of an odd area but don't let that deter you. The final product was excellent for reasonable rates that were provided beforehand.

I never thought in a million years I’d ever get into a car accident, but i unfortunately did almost two months ago. I wouldn’t recommend any other body shop besides these guys! I am just now getting my car back, but between how much damage there was it all makes sense as to why it took this long. This was my first ever accident since owning a car, so I genuinely thought I had totaled my car…After a few weeks here my car looks even better than when I got it in 2019! Drives like new too!! I also don’t even know where to begin to extend my thanks & gratitude to the shop owner, Stephanie, from helping me with everything at the time of crash (she was signing her dog up for obedience classes in the lot we were parked in). She helped get me a tow, helped me with my insurance claim, helped me get a rental car, & gave me countless updates on my car while it was in her care. There isn’t a single bad thing i have to say about her! On top of the endless support AFTER getting my car back.. JUST AMAZING! They also work with surrounding dealerships, my girl had to go to Tampa Honda for some recalibrating. Posting the photo i took after the accident & what my car looks like now!! Anyone that is having trouble understanding why their vehicle is taking so long, just trust the process! I promise your car is in great hands here!!

She was very wonderful and informative during a difficult time due to me getting into a hit and run. She helped me so much mentally and physically. OKAY! So where do I even start?! I’m at Stephanie at a moment where I truly believe fate stepped in to help me! I was in a bad car accident out of town with no one I knew to help me! Right away once I gave her the greenlight she handled everything from towing my jeep to helping me get set up in a rental! All things I’ve never had to do completely on my own before. She also made every process with the insurance, extremely smooth and assured me the whole way that she would advocate for me when it’s needed - and she definitely did! If you ever need somebody in the area to handle such a traumatic issue, she can do it and assure you the whole way!

This family-run auto body shop delivered high-quality repair work on my damaged Honda Accord—excellent alignment, paint, and bodywork. Stephanie, the owner, was initially helpful and professional, assisting with insurance and providing emotional support after the accident. However, the experience soured due to delays, broken promises, and poor communication. The complete repair took fifteen weeks instead of two, and a promised safety certification was never provided. The vehicle, while looking great externally, had several unresolved issues upon initial delivery (e.g., non-functional fog lights, incorrect emblem, defective headlights), which were only partially resolved. Further dissatisfaction arose from the treatment of my brother, who received his car with unexplained extra mileage, unreplaced parts, damage, and was treated rudely and unfairly charged. Although Stephanie eventually replaced the defective headlight and fulfilled her final promise, the uneven replacement (one new headlight vs. one old) was another source of frustration. Final Verdict: The repair quality was ultimately satisfactory, but poor management, lack of transparency, and disrespectful customer service led to a disappointing overall experience. Tl;dr at bottom Let me start by saying I am a Jeep enthusiast through and through and am very picky about who has hands on my vehicle. I choose to work on my own because you never know who's trying to get into your wallet versus who actually cares to help you. My Jeep is more than just a vehicle to me. We've been around the country multiples times and it has been my shelter and safe space. The Jeep flooded during Hurricane Helene while I was at the hospital for disaster response (along with many other people's cars and homes). After contacting my insurance, all towing companies were booked and I wasn't going to be able to get anyone until the next day. I began looking online for local towing and found Florida Safety Towing & Repairs Corp. I gave them a call and Stephanie helped explain the process of getting it towed and having an insurance agent come to assess it. I wanted to get it towed to my house so that I could assess it myself, clean the water out, dry it, etc (bc I am extremely skeptical of repair shops) but it ended up getting towed to their facility anyway which was fine. Stephanie was encouraging and patient with my questions throughout the process. After checking the Jeep out herself, she said the insurance adjuster would probably call it a total loss (big sad), and sure enough they did. Stephanie and Ashley answered every call (or called back promptly in response to a missed call) and made sure I knew what was going on and what the next steps were. They've been through this and it became more and more obvious to me that they really do just want to help make the process as easy as possible for me (and everyone involved). They were empathetic to my situation and provided more emotional support than their job requires. They're knowledgeable and have generations of experience. Ashley was there when I was cleaning out my things and I asked what I could keep. She made sure the guys took off my $650 winch to try and salvage and my brand new unused $450 spare tire (for my next Jeep). They even held these things for over a week for me until I could come pick them up. These women really went above and beyond during a very busy and stressful time (for them and me) and I couldn't be more grateful. Tl;dr I am lucky I gave this place a chance. This is a family business who wants to help you. If you're having an issue with your vehicle, they are worth your time to at least check it out. I'm confident they know their limits and are honest with what they can do to assist you. Thank you Stephanie and Ashley for everything you've done for me.

Got in the car accident one month ago and Miss Stephanie end up driving by my accident and afford for help and told me she has a business where they fix cars and would love to help me out , it was right before hurricane and they took my car to safe place and took care of her . They did amazing job on fixing the door that got smashed due to the car accident . Stephanie always communicated with me regarding my vehicle and all the process all the way until I got my car back . I would definitely recommend their place and trust me you will love the results ! Thank you for taking care of my baby ! She looks brand new!!!

Worst Customer service! Worst communication! The most horrific experience ever! She Had my daughter’s car for over 4 months back and forth with us always stating that she needed an extra day or two to finish up. Every time it was time to pick up the car she had an excuse for not having the car ready. She lied to the insurance company about finishing up the job on the vehicle. I arrived on the premises and took pictures of the vehicle and sent the pictures to the insurance company of the unfinished vehicle. My daughter was hit 2 different vehicles on two different occasions. 1st was the front right side of the headlights and second back trunk. 1st & 2nd accident was other party fault. My daughter took her car just for the back to be fixed because the party from the 2nd accident was not insured so we decided to get the back fixed and only the back. That’s when she convinced my daughter that she can get the 1st accident fixed as well. I refused to have the front fixed because it was the other party fault and they needed to fix it. Well she decided to get the adjuster into the shop and then started working on the car and they never sent payment so she called my insurance and got my insurance to pay for it. At this point she already had the car for 2 months. She stated at the very beginning of this whole ordeal that she would absorb the deductible and we would never have to worry about it but ended up asking for the deductible because she wanted to get more money out of us for the length she kept the car. She got full payment for the car. 1st payment for the 2nd accident in August and the last payment for the 1st accident in September. She still has the car and refuses to give the car back! Don’t take your car there! Scam and insurance fraud!

Florida Safety Towing & Repair is the best shop in Tampa. Their team is efficient and fair and had my car looking good as new. Ashley did a fantastic job keeping me updated in a timely manner and discussing fair pricing for my incident. I definitely recommend this shop if you have any damage minor or severe.

I had some minor body work and painting done on my car. My regular auto repair guy referred me to Florida Safety. The work was done very nicely (painting looks great!) and they completed the work in 24 hours as promised. They were also very reasonably priced. I'm very pleased. Would use them again without reservation. No problems at all.

Amazing!!! Stephanie was our 😇. She treated us with the utmost respect and absolutely handled everything seamlessly. We were in an accident in Tampa and live in St. Pete. Our car was absolutely not drivable and we had no idea where to tow it. She paid for an Uber for us and took care of calling a tow truck. Full service doesn’t even begin to describe the service we were given. I picked up my car today and it is BEAUTIFUL!! Fully detailed and ready to rock. I really can’t say enough nice things about Stephanie and the shop. She gave me her cell number and encouraged me to reach out whenever I had a question. She always responded. Highly recommended!!! I wish I could give more than five stars. Thanks guys!!!!

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I got into an accident after picking up my childhood dogs ashes. Magically they were at the scene of the accident and Stephanie told me about her shop. After looking for other more reputable options, I decided the easiest option was this shop. They proved me absolutely wrong!! I was quoted 3 weeks to fix the damage to my car. It seemed long but I trusted them with my car. 3 weeks go by and I call the shop 3 times and my call won’t be answered. I had my spouse call and they picked up right away. I told them it was me and they HUNG UP ON ME!!! The next day I get a call from Stephanie saying my car would be ready next week… Weeks go by and I still have no car. I went to the shop multiple times and they would NOT let me see MY car. My car had been gone for 3 months. Eventually I contact my insurance and the police and they were able to help me see my car. When I saw my car I was in disbelief. They absolutely demolished my car. My dogs ashes were scattered all over the back. I have an airtag in my car and some how my car was being driven. Not by me but by them and I guess they wrecked it while illegally driving my car. DO NOT COME HERE

This Company Surpassed my expectations, they were great. Stephanie was extremely professional and courteous. I recommend this business to all my friends and family. To all those who can take their car to another place other than Florida Safety Towing, it is the most informal company that Tampa has. The same owner does not answer you and the work takes any amount of time. The worst experience.
