Broker will tell you that the recycled batteries are clean they ship 100 in a week no problems, absolutely not true. Batteries left a big puddle of acid in the trailer !!
Quick check in, quick unload, and quick check out. Appointment needed. Weigh in, weigh out required as well. No parking at the facility overnight or otherwise.
Gopher resource in Tampa Florida has the best shipping & receiving department I've ever done business with in my 28 years of trucking. Everyone from security to management from loading to unloading Especially the scale masters go above and beyond to make sure you are treated respectful and you are in and out as quick as possible.
Arrived @16:30, appointment for 17:00. Called to check in, got called back in bout 5 minutes. Loaded and out with paperwork @ 17:28. Easy money. Thanks.
The Russian female is as rude as can be for no reason... She doesn't like her job type of rude and the spacing is very tight .. streets in the area aren't meant for trucks to be on

Lead levels in air around this place make it unsafe to be outside anywhere in the "vicinity" of the building. This is according to Hillsborough county officials. As a citizen of this county, I emphasize how important it is not to give this place business as they are poisoning residents. Please, do your own research, and you will find my statements to be true. The air is not safe to breathe, and this company is responsible.
The entire staff was great and friendly especially the guard.🕺🕺 Once the staff scale you in and you go into the office to check in, then you will receive your doc door. They will load you quickly, then you will be scaled out while checking out.🤓
Quick and easy unload. Very friendly and efficient. Good signage telling you where to park. If the number on the sign doesn't work, walk to the guard shack and they'll sign you in.

Guard is very nice, guy to direct trucks is nice. Quick and easy place to get unloaded. There is lead in the air over here so wearing a face mask is necessary.
Picked up a load and everyone from security and the shipping office was a pleasure to deal with.
The only delay was because of there only being one scale inbound and outbound. If they had a second scale.
If coming in on 66th St, there is a sign directing drivers to the staging lot.
Make sure to fuel before you arrive. Like other shippers in their business, they load based on empty weight.
Unlike other shippers, however, Gopher gives you your axle weights and allows you to fix any issues prior to leaving the scale area.
From the guard over the lady in the office and ppl who unloading everything was ok...two stars are for the management they don't have no right to keep us after we finish so long..reason is only one scale for inbound and outbound ...never seen this before, running late for my pick up..empty trailer..BS

They will call you when it’s your turn
There were many trucks waiting but they call me in just after 5 minutes
I been coming here for years and never had a problem until today. I've always made it there early due to no parking in Tampa but due to road construction you cant park outside their gate and was threatened by security to call the police on me. So I was forced to drive else where to find parking. This will be my last load here.
Hurry up and wait...... One scale for every single truck. Too cheap to install an outbound scale.
Also takes very long to get loaded with lead. We come here all the time. Never changes.
PS. 10 break parking is only ok outside gate. Room for about 3 to 4 trucks. That's it.
