My regular load out of here is a drop and hook. I get there the evening before pickup and they let me stay overnight. The next morning I typically check in an hour early with no issues. I don’t always get finished as soon as I would like but it’s never really very long. The folks at the shipping office are not terribly social beings. They are never rude and will answer any questions without grumbling too much. They simply interact will an infinite number of drivers every day and they kinda act like it. If it’s close to shift change you can sometimes see folks hiding around corners (they think you can’t see them). It’s a union job, so… I have no real complaints and would have given 5 stars except that it rubs me the wrong way when, on the rare occasion, they hide. If you ever want to evoke a smile from any of them, bring a pack of snacks and tell them that you appreciate them. They’ll love it and you’ll feel better too.
Easy check n. Security is very friendly and informational. Unloading was fast. No complaints. I’ll bring loads to this location anytime. It was so quick and easy.
My 10r80 transmission in my 2022 Ranger XL 4x4 has begun to fail at 55,400 miles due to the CDF drum bushing moving from it's intended location. Since 2017 until Aug of 2022 Ford knew this was a potential issue and didn't change a thing. Instead they kept manufacturing this faulty transmission and left the fixes in the consumers laps. Even with all the customer complaints, FoMoCo still looked the other way. They still will not recall this item, but published a TSB. After August of 2022 they started using an upgraded 10r80 - essentially admitting that they screwed this up. I am sure the assembly plant workers were aware of this as well. Shame on you all.
truck gate is on Mosteller. It took nearly 15min to check in at the guard shack as they had NO CLUE where i was supposed to go for the pickup. When they finally figured that out the assigned dock was full and had to wait for the yard dog to pull it. Loading took 1 1/2hrs
Avoid this place at all costs complete chaos, zero respect for drivers.
I came to deliver a ridiculously light load just two small pallets, not even 2,000 lbs total. What should’ve taken 10–15 minutes turned into over 3 hours of being sent from place to place with no answers and no help.
First, I sat at the guard shack for 15 minutes while they figured out where to send me. Then I got to the dock they told me to go to — and guess what? No one was there. I had to walk around and find someone to even acknowledge me.
The first lady I talked to said she never heard anything about my delivery. She radioed someone and told me to go further down — I did, found a group of forklift drivers, and they also had no clue. They sent me back. I found the same lady again, and she tried to get someone to unload me but no one wanted to do it.
Eventually, they sent me to another door. I parked, and someone finally told me to “just wait.” After 15 minutes, two workers came out, looked at the pallets, took photos, and said someone would unload me soon.
Spoiler: no one did. I waited another 40 minutes and was completely ignored.
So I walked back to the office and saw the same lady just sitting on her phone scrolling through TikTok or Facebook, doing absolutely nothing. When I asked again, she casually said, “Boss said we can’t unload you today.” No one bothered to tell me that while I was waiting in my truck for almost an hour.
I asked to speak to the boss. She clearly wasn’t happy but went to get her. The boss came and gave me one of the dumbest excuses I’ve ever heard: “We don’t have someone trained to unload outside,” even though there were forklifts and workers everywhere inside the warehouse.
Then she claimed I didn’t have an appointment, questioned whether I was lying, and even accused me of recording her even though my phone was clearly pointed away, with the screen visible the whole time.
In total, they ran me around from place to place for over 3 hours for two tiny pallets. No communication, no respect, no professionalism. Just a bunch of people passing responsibility and wasting time.
The only reason I’m giving even 1 star is because they let me park overnight. That’s it.
Bottom line: This place is a joke. Completely disorganized, unprofessional, and a nightmare for drivers. If you can avoid it do it. You’ve been warned.
To commercial Drivers picking up and/or delivering....Shipping & Receiving is located off of Mosteller Rd on the NORTH SIDE of the property . That is also where the Guard Shack is for Security (and where all Drivers must check-in) You will not be allowed to enter the building. You'll check in with Security upon entering the property. You'll let them know at whatever dock your assigned to, That You slid your tandems, bumped the dock, lowered your landing gear, placed a jack stand under your trailer & properly lifted/secured it. Other then that, You'll wait in your truck. Whomever unloads you will let you know when your paperwork is signed. As per usual, after you get a green light at the dock, Security will need their copy of the BOL & do a visual inspection of the freight inside of your trailer before you shut your barn doors. So leave your doors open until you've been told otherwise. As for my personal experience delivering here?? EVERY. SINGLE. EMPLOYEE, From the Shipping/Receiving Guard(s) to the warehouse personnel, Hi-lo Driver, The wonderful Woman (Jackie) who tracked down the freight I was back-hauling & every one else at this Ford Plant, Are THE gold standard as role models as to how Truck Drivers SHOULD BE treated when picking up or delivering at any business, But especially Ford Motor Company Fast unload and reload, Pleasant yet professional, courteous and welcoming while still observing mandatory policies and procedures . As a truck driver delivering/picking up was an absolute pleasure & surprisingly refreshing.
2016 Ford Fusion with less than 100k miles on it suffered a catastrophic engine failure despite regular maintenance. Dealing with customer service and corporate representatives has been a nightmare since the staff have made it crystal clear that they don't care about my car or me. Have been a Ford family for many years, but no more.
First time delivering here. The guard at the gate was nice and explained things very well. Had to wait awhile for a door, but thats usuall at most places.
Lazy ppl, the don’t want to work. It took them over 4 hrs to unload few empty racks. They kept sending me from dock to dock. Unfriendly ppl at the receiving department and each one says its not his job. Warning for all truck drivers don’t go there its a waste for your time
