I was extremely happy with my experience. I called on a Saturday at noon and was lucky to get an appointment for my mom’s car to have a flat fixed. She lives in the retirement community across the street, so it was very convenient. They got everything taken care of in under an hour, on budget. I was very pleased and really appreciate the awesome service I received on Wednesday, February 11th. Everything was explained to me in a very positive manner in which I received excellent results.
Poorly run shop with incompetent staff. I took my truck in for a simple oil change, and they cracked my oil plug. Said they would need to keep my truck for a few days, then tried to get out of reimbursing me for a rental car.
To make it up, they offered to comp my next oil change. So I take my wife’s car in a few weeks later and they give me a “free” oil change but try charging $287 for new wiper blades. Shady business.
Certainly not good quality for the price I paid. I thought they were skilled enough to do brakes on an X5 but I was wrong. Took 3 days to fix it because had not tools nor expertise. Once I picked the car I had to return after one day because they didn’t replaced the bolts and the pads got loose right away. Very bad lesson for me, and they are not cheap! hope someone else won’t do same mistake.
Good customer service and did a good job with the performance that they conducted on my car. The manager and the workers were very friendly people. Very concerning and very willing to answer any questions that I had.
The prices here are outrageous. They quoted me at around $1,750 to replace an axle and add a little greace to my breaks. Meineke did the job for just under $800.
The appointment time was wrong. The labor took longer than expected. The price was sky-high. Nearly $900 for rear brake pads plus oil change. I asked for a tire rotation, they did not rotate my tires.
Been a customer for years, but lately the coordination between scheduling and performance of the service has been frustrating. Don’t use website calling center to make appointment as call center does not see actual availability at the shop. For my recent oil change, I called store directly and got next day appointment. Despite advance booking, shop did not have filter in stock so I waited extra hour for them to get filter delivered. Expected that shop would have checked inventory previous day when I booked the appointment. If this continues, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Everything went great. Scheduling was easy, work quality was great, and all staff were professional, courteous, attentive to detail. The manager, Randy, was professional, a good communicator, and easy to work with. I will definitely use this Monroe site for future auto work.
Monro does great work in a timely fashion and most importantly they are honest about what work actually needs to be done and doesn’t attempt to take advantage of you if you have lack of knowledge of vehicle repair. Thank you Monro!
I brought my car in with a 9 am appointment. It was to check if ONE tire had a leak. I did not hear back until 1:15 pm after I had stopped by at 12. I think it was WAY too long just to check a tire.
I had them replace a muffler and tail pipe about 4 years ago. Now 4 years later I'm hearing this rattling and come to find out they mudded the muffler and it came apart which caused problems with the catalytic converter and other problems. I paid for new parts. So i thought. The new mechanic said this was the worst muffler job they have ever seen. They sent me pictures. Needless to say I am very disappointed in the service that was done by Monroe and has caused me to pay $3,000 to get everything fixed the RIGHT WAY. From the tail pipe to the catalytic converter. I will NOT recommend this company to anyone. Please stop doing shady work and hire employees who are actually trained to do the work. Just because you have a certificate DOESN'T mean you know what you're doing. Be Honest and treat people fair.
Awesome service at this location. Tim was super helpful with my tire issues and gave me the best solutions for my problems. I would absolutely recommended. Go here for any tire needs and they will take care of you in good timing.
Shame on you! We brought our vehicle in for new front brakes. He insisted we needed new rear brakes and calipers, until we reminded him that **YOU** JUST REPLACED them less than two months ago! This is a vehicle we hardly ever drive! Then he babbled his excuses # untrustworthy!
Please don't go here anymore. Jim McRoberts quit recently, and the place seems to have been bought by Mr Tire! Jim was an honest guy, and for years, was the only place I would recommend for honest service. I can't say that anymore. They overcharged my mother on her oil change last Monday, May 5th. This store, and the Mr Tire on Nellis in Fairfield both looked at my mom's 2010 Lexus RX350, and couldn't or wouldn't fix it! We took it instead to Taters Kenridge Auto on Kenwood, and THEY FIXED IT!!! It's sad that Jim had to leave, but he probably didn't agree with the new owners, but at least he was always an honest guy with us. So I cannot recommend Monroe or Mr Tire, sadly. Please beware! The only good thing about it, Monroe/Mr Tire didn't charge for the diagnostic fee. But I heartily recommend Taters! Please don't waste your money anywhere else!
We are frequent flyers at Monro for tire repair and replacement. Great service and always get us in the same day. Jim and staff do a great job! Highly recommend!
My car broke down as I was traveling in an unknown area. I was towed to Monroe Auto Service. I was worried, being an older female, that the repair
would cost me a fortune, but they were so nice. The price for the repair was very reasonable. They went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend their service.
Excellent service and good honest work. They quickly helped me out (free of charge) after a panel came loose due to the deep snow this week. I have been many times before and was always very happy with their work, but this is the kind of service that creates a lifelong customer!
They truly do good work at a fair price. I trust them for all of the services on our family van! Can’t recommend them enough!
While traveling we picked up a spring in a tire. They diagnosed quickly and offered options to get us home. We chose to replace two tires but they offered less expensive options. Courteous, kind and quick because of the circumstance. If local would choose them every time!
Had tires delivered thru Amazon for my daughter car. Apt was perfectly on time. They got me thru quickly. Prices for install paid thru Amazon as well. Great rate. Saved a bunch of cash rather than going to another shop. 100 % recommend.
Not sure if many are aware but you can order new tires for a car yourself and have them shipped to and installed at businesses such as Monro Brakes & Tires. One of the best decisions that I could have made. Monro contacted me when the tires arrived, an appointment was set, and the tires were installed in a timely manner. I also opted for a wheel alignment. The technicians were friendly, courteous and very professional. I would highly recommend Monro Brakes & Tires!
I have been frequenting this location for a while and I am always greeting in a friendly and professional manner. The manager’s ability to communicate and manage expectations is impressive. I always know how much my cost will be and we always go over what I need done and any concerns before they begin service. The last time I was there, while I waited, the manager was inundated with walk ins. He handled it with professionalism and grace. I have and will continue to recommend this location to others as I trust the staff implicitly with my vehicle. I am a small business owner so I know how much feedback means especially from someone who's not only looking through the eyes of the consumer but also through the eyes of a business woman. You hit the jackpot with the staff at this location!

I gotta be honest I went to another MONRO outlet to get my service but they were unable to obtain approval for my silver rock oil change. Then when I asked that station what the price was for what I wanted they quoted me $94. frustrated because they couldn’t get it approved because this was an extra cost for me when I bought my car I tried this shop. When I brought it here the quote was $40 less if they didn’t get it approved but there was no problem getting it approved. Then they told me about my tires being old which I didn’t actually know was a thing and they suggested a top of the line tire. I’m thoroughly happy with the performance of this shop. The guy even called me back to make sure my credit card wasn’t on a recorded line!! That first shop was just a bad look for Monro, this shop was fantastic. Thank you all so much!
Consistently great and honest service. Once again I had a smooth, supportive and trusted experience. ]I was able to get in with ease to assess my vehicle. They gave me an honest assessment and given the complexity of the engine issue, and Jim suggested I reach out directly to the dealer in this case. Rather than pushing something on me, I appreciated his candid and honest advice.
