Whatever it is you need for your DIY project—tiles or wine corks or light switch plates or markers or styrofoam or basically anything else—it’s here and it’s a great price. Parking is easy, staff is helpful and friendly, and the selection is unmatched.
Our first visit. Staff and volunteers so helpful. What a busy place! We saw so many people bringing their recyclables. We shopped at the HUB and had fun looking at all the items.
Friendly people and useful service. They didn't charge me the first time I visited but they did the second time. The supplies upstairs make the price worth it.
I adore this place. Their new system as of January 2026 requires visitors to pay a 1-time visitor fee or purchase a monthly or annual membership in order to recycle. Reuse items can always be dropped off for free. The volunteers are so helpful, and the visitors always friendly!
First and probably last time here.Their website says they are open on Tuesday, come here, and closed. Not worth my time to screw around and figure out when they are open or not. A previous review mentioned this and it said check the web site, well I did..
This is why stuff ends up in a landfill because of bad communication with the public.
Instead of throwing away most of my non garbage stuff in the trash can because Rumpke doesn't accept a lot of recycling items in curb recycling can pick up, I now know I can take my recycling to the Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub where there's a bin or box for each. They even take things I never thought they'd take, like cleaned out planter pots & zip lock bags! The volunteers are knowledgeable & friendly, always willing to help teach me how to properly separate my recycling. I'm helping to avoid putting my stuff in the landfills!
You can recycle almost anything here! We've given different kinds of plasitc, electronics, light bulbs, aluminum, styrofoam, packing peanuts, and so much more! They are our number 1 resource for reducing what goes to the landfill. Thank you so much reuse hub!
Great place to bring hard to recycle plastics, as well as most other items you want to keep out of a landfill. I recommend pre-sorting into different types before you go.
This place takes literally just about anything you can think of. The staff are very patient and helpful. I had a great first experience there today. You won't have to throw anything away!
What an amazing recycling! I’ve been twice in the last week to recycle #5 plastics, toothpaste tubes, batteries, styrofoam, computer mouse, used & new plastic silverware, corks, prescription bottles, unnumbered plastics, and so much more! I tried taking photos of everything but I know that I missed a few. They are only open 3 days a week so time your visits accordingly and make sure you have everything sorted ahead of time to make it easier.
These people are warriors for recycling and with good reason -- we throw away so much everyday without even thinking of it. I've been recycling for many years, and I was floored by the variety of items they accept.
Just a sample beyond the normal items we recycle: any plastic outer wrap (food and non-food), straws, plastic ware (used and unused), prescription bottles, lids to jars, toothbrushes/toothpaste tubes, socks, aluminum foil, and lots more.
The volunteers are friendly and helpful and they are constantly checking to make sure the right items go in the correct bins. I actually felt empowered after going -- like I was making a real difference for myself and the community. This could (and SHOULD) be a model for cities everywhere. Very highly recommended!
A lot of interesting items and doing some great work to recycle. Leonardo charging $1 a pound for things like plastic pots and egg cartons, which of course is very reasonable but I don't think anything is free anymore.
Finally, a place that accepts more than what Rumpke does! I love the fact that you can go shopping in here in the sense that you can find things for cheap or even free. Love, love, love this place!
If you are serious about recycling, you need to check this place out. They don't take what you can recycle with Rumpke, but they take just about everything else. I just dropped off 2 months of plastics, aluminum, plastic bags, etc. Check out their website for what they will take. You might be surprised.
Fantastic resource that takes almost anything. Bring your unmarked plastics, plastic film of all sorts, even batteries and light bulbs (for a nominal fee). Pre sort by number before you get there to save a lot of time. Also, Kroger branded items are in separate bins.
This place is A-MA-ZING. Office, kitchen, garden, holiday, art, sewing supplies (including fabric) and more free for reuse although donations gratefully accepted. A crafter’s and DIY paradise. Look for their incredible SUSTAINABLE SWAPS. Dates are on their website.
We go monthly once to drop our plastics. Very noble cause, putting our planet ahead of everything else. Friendly people. Great vibes to see other environment friendly folks.

Such a great service to the community. Love going here, esp to "shop" for free stuff and recyclables for crafting and church activities. Before taking items there to recycle, check if they accept it (no regular curbside recycling items). Parking is often difficult and limited (you may have to park on the street and walk a ways).
Wow, if only everyone took advantage of this place! What a difference we could make. Amazed with the variety of items they will take and how friendly their employees and volunteers are in helping you figure out their system.
This amazing collaboration of multiple non-profits is a green lifestylers dream! Curbside recycling is good, but this place is great. A destination for all those broken electronics, bubble wrap, store plastics and a significant amount of other stuff to long to list. Check out the updated guide!

It's like an organized episode of hoarders but it's business! I'm not kidding. That is what it is!
But, you can donate here or pick items. They ask for a small donation but it is free. It has to be a non-profit I am assuming...

Recycling what the garbage collection can't. Run by a group of wonderful volunteers. What isn't to like. Thank you Hub for helping change how people think about "things".
Lots of volunteers that will help you unload your car, explain what they take and costs. My car was packed with boxes. I was in and out under 5 minutes. Worth every penny I paid to dispose of hard to get rid of items and do it properly.
