Very clean, very organized. So much good stuff. Only downfall, a little overpriced and no fitting rooms. Another thing that I want to point out- when you pick something off a shelf, put it back where you found it. Have some respect for the employees that put the product out on the floor and makes the floor look nice. I do what to give a shout out to one employee; his name is Kamryn. He greets you with a hello, will spark conversations. Puts a smile on my face including many others so I’ve heard. He is the only person for his position and this guy knocks his carts out fast!!! GIVE HIM A RAISE!!! HE DESERVES A RAISE!!!! I have 5 grandchildren and love coming in to shop for them more than myself. The toys/ games/ puzzles is my favorite section. Clothes are good quality. I pray Savers doesn’t end up closing years down the road. This place rocks!!! Keep up the good work to all those who are employees of this great place. Thank you for making thrifting possible for all of us.
There were no fitting rooms, but they “have a great return policy”. I live 45 minutes away, so I’m not going to buy and then travel the whole way back for a return. Tthe clothing was too pricy to just “wing it”. $10.49 for a pair of shorts is like Highly recommend they get fitting rooms and also reconsider their pricing on items they get for free.
For a thirft store that relies heavily on donation, I truly question where the "thrift" is? Items are marketed barely below retail value despite getting them for free. Not to mention, your employees are far from helpful. Most act as if they would be anywhere else. I understand the demands of customer service myself, but I like my customers to feel welcomed, not dejected and unwanted.
Hoping this place does better.
***I would also keep in mind that you should be wary on how much you are pricing items. Is there not a restriction on how much you can price items above their retail price?
Other than this store being clean because they just opened- that’s the only good thing about it. as an avid thrifter to save money for my family it’s disgusting to see a thrift store that gets everything for free mark their prices INSANELY high. Old Navy summer dress… 19.49… and it has some stains and use already. I can go to Old Navy and find the same dress new with tags for the same price or cheaper. Whoever is doing the pricing at this Savers needs to come down to normal thrift store prices and they would probably be able to move more product. There also aren’t any regular daily sales like the local community aid or goodwills. They should have a daily tag color sale or better coupons. They don’t. I’ve gone in twice to try it to see if it changed at all from opening day and it’s very disappointing to see the prices not changing. Just ridiculously high. No thank you Savers. Do better!
I had bought two different things are two separate occasions. First thing I bought worked fine and was ok priced. I bought something else today. It had obvious wear and tear which is fine when I'm going to a thrift store and buying something. After I got home I found out the thing didn't work at all. They obviously didn't check the thing. Plus, I cant return the thing i bought. I do agree with the other people about the pricing. Most of it is over priced but I've seen one or two things that did seem priced ok.
Huge store and great stuff. The prices vary. Some horribly priced things and some good deals here and there. 25% off on Mondays which is nice.
No dressing rooms and the exchange policy is not very convenient. You can’t return anything, you can get store credit, that needs used that day? Maybe I’m understanding it wrong but that’s what it looks like to me.
If you have the time to look through everything you could find some good deals but this would be a great place to look if you have something specific you’re looking for and willing to spend a little more.
Cleats pictured were $5.79. Which is a good price.

Savers of York is just fantastic!!! The staff are so kind and helpful. The clothing section is well kept with great size and style organization. I couldn’t even begin to sum up the MASSIVE home goods selection!! Every piece I found was quality.
Savers has higher marked items on their sales floor, but they are worth every penny. Each item is priced according to its worth - and I don’t mind spending an extra couple bucks for Lululemon, alo, or Ralph Lauren if it means I’ll have a quality piece for my wardrobe.
Shopping at Savers is a great way to give back to the community. Every donation benefits their Purple Heart foundation, and beyond that, provides the donor with a 20% off coupon to use in stores!!!

Store is wonderful. Good products. Prices decent. Only downfall is no fitting rooms but when you know your size, it’s not a problem. Kamryn is a great employee, he deserves a supervisor or management position. He is so helpful, so knowledgeable and very professional and respectful. I met him once and every time I come in he greets me and everyone else with professionalism. Please give this man a raise and something, he deserves it. Though again, great store. Very clean and organized. Keep up the good work Savers employees!
Decent size and selection. Possibly largest in the area. As far as electronics go. I would strongly advice against them. Bought a printer over the weekend. First red flag was the sticker clearly saying no exchange. But I figured for $15 I'll risk it. It had ink cartridges in it. With ink. Got it home. Set up. Ran through 20 test print pages. Got zero ink to paper. So I replaced the ink cartridges. Brand new from canon. Ran 5 more test pages. Still no ink on paper. Clearly they do not fully test their electronics. It would appear that as long as they turn on. Thats good enough for them. They dont have to work properly. So just avoid electronics. They arent properly tested and judging by the stickers on them. They are well aware of this.
Mary is a wonderful, helpful, kind manager and hard worker. She puts so much thought and intention to her attentiveness towards helping customers! She has helped me and shown me items I would like and she is very happy to do so. I will be back again just for Mary!
I have had great experiences at this new location! Everything is very organized, and I have gotten 2 very nice Owala water bottles from here. They have a return policy which not a lot of thrift stores do, so that’s a plus. The drop off area for donations is also well organized, and the manager Mary was very nice and helpful!
Manager Mary was extremely rude about the fact there were no dressing rooms, she said i should shop elsewhere if i didnt like it. Prices are quite outrageous for most of the items, they have nice stuff but if you're looking to be frugal and save money, i wouldnt recommend it.
