Always a pleasure dealing with Witmer. They’re the only shop locally that isn’t scared of Teslas. Friendly staff and professional techs. Also the recent office renovation looks great. Highly recommend.

I only have one car, and I am always so happy that when I need to have my car worked on, WITMER AUTO is always accommodating. I had a slow leak in one tire. I stopped to ask them to repair it. Turned out that it was a nail in the sidewall. Within 30 minutes they had a new tire delivered, replaced and I was back on the road! I’ll never go anywhere else!

I am new to this business, but initial interactions have all been cordial and helpful. I expect to continue to use them for all my car maintenance

I went here for an inspection and to have my wiper blade, exterior blinker light replaced and a squeaking sound (which I thought was a belt). They sent me an invoice for over $2,000 worth of work to be done but I only had completed what was on my list. They failed me for my inspection. The next day I could still hear the squeaking sound so I brought it back in. They were trying to charge me another $150 to look at what they said they had already fixed the day prior and said it was now something additional. I went somewhere else for the inspection that Wilmers failed me on and passed with flying colors. Don't go to this garage and get taken advantage of. They got over $400 from me and would have gotten another $1600.00 if I had not gone with my instinct and gotten a second option.

This is the most over priced, under experienced garage, I've ever been too. If care about your money get a second opinion. The free drinks and t-shirts cost way more than you know!

I've heard loved ones talk about how great this place is, so when I needed an oil change, I decided to try them out. They have great customer service and their services are reasonably priced. No gauging! If and when I need anything done to my vehicle, I look forward to taking it in to Witmers!

I went in on short notice with nail in my tire, and was also able to have my car inspected at the same time with ease and continue my work day in their spacious clean waiting area. These guys know their stuff. As a fellow garage owner, if there is something we can't handle, I never hesitate to send my beloved customers to them. There aren't many garages in York I trust, let alone would send one of our customer to, but these guys are one of them.

Took the car here and I paid more for the diagnosing then the actual work completed on the car, told them specifically that the car was lopsided and need to be adjusted to flush all four corners..they handed me my car back staggered and never fixed the noise I complained about they charged me I paid 1,600 plus dollars and nothing was fixed ! Crooked men at this shop. They'll charge you for looking at it then charge you again for fixing it...so crooked!

Had vibrations on my truck a couple of garages failed to diagnose/fix. One company suggested change all four tires. another garage recommended going to witmer and they did a meticulous job of diagnosis and repair a few thousand mile of towing and it’s still running perfectly. Also did a good job of informing me on the way.

I had the BEST experience with the team at Witmer Automotive LLC! They got me in quickly, were so friendly and made getting my vehicle inspected an absolute breeze! I will definitely be using them moving forward and recommending them to everyone!

We decided to try them for a pre-purchase inspection. Only good to say, from our first initial contact, through the entire process which took about 1.25 hrs for a thorough exam of the vehicle we brought in. Comfortable waiting area with coffee and snacks. Clean. Courteous. Highly recommend!

Found Witmer a little over a year ago and I will never go anywhere else. Brian and the Whole team have always been honest, and I find their work to be top notch. As a single woman, it is not easy to trust that I won’t get bamboozled and I can say that I really trust them.

Adam and Brian have done a great job at explaining everything that Dante's thorough inspection may have uncovered while servicing my vehicles. The shop labor rate seemed a little cheaper than other garages, so a lower than expected bill is ALWAYS appreciated!

First time using Witmer. I showed up 20 minutes late, and Adam welcomed me and said "no problem". They are friendly and professional. Tony serviced my Jeep while I waited and explained what was needed, without pressuring me. Their pricing is better than my old mechanic's, so I'm sticking with them.

Adam was super helpful and the entire team. They got me into the shop within a day to troubleshoot my vehicle. Aaron was my mechanic and did a very thorough job.

This is the only shop I use and I recommend to anyone who is in need of service. I just had my brother take his cargo van in last month and they had it completed in a timely manner. They are honest and the prices are affordable. I’ll actually be seeing you guys in the morning for my inspection.

I've come here ever since I bought my first car. I was terrified because it was my first car as a teenager and I wasn't sure what to do. I found this place online and they've been incredible. Prices are reasonable. Services are fast and reliable. I've never had to have anything repaired a second time. They pride themselves in their work. Serpentine belts and rust damage Witmer has had everything done on this car. My convertible saturn has had excellent care for several years. So sad to be moving and have to find a new mechanic. These guys work magic.

I recently moved to York from Baltimore. I was looking for place to keep my Truck well maintained. I happened to drive by Witmer Auto and ck it out. Brian was extremly friendly and helpful. So far i have been for my State Inp 2 x, 5 oil changes a cold air intake , an upgrade exhaust and a set of JBA headers. Great service each time. Super knowledgeable staff .
