J & J Cycle Barn in York Springs, PA scores 95/100. Reviews show highly positive sentiment: friendly, knowledgeable staff; fair pricing; fast walk-in inspections; and quality workmanship, especially on American/Harley bikes. Parts and accessories are often in stock, making it easy to find what you need. Drawbacks: refusal to mount customer-supplied tires and one disputed tread-depth call; focus on American bikes may limit full service for metrics. Waits are generally short. Reviews don’t address yard organization. Overall, service and value stand out.
Said I needed x2 new tires for my bikes annual inspection, claiming both tires at 2/32… ? however he did not charge me anything for glancing at my tires
I know better because I’ve inspected many cmv class a’s and plus my bike is barely broken in (3600 miles)…?
I left and went directly to dealership where I purchased my bike and quickly passed. Documenting my tires were 5/32 and 4/32 (new motorcycle tires are about 6/32) on a very thorough inspection.
Down to Earth, knowledgeable. Very nice shop. I would recommend this place to anybody that rides motorcycles. This is a great crew and it seems to be run by a great owner. You don't find great shops like this anymore!
A week after purchasing a vintage HD Sportster we were having some trouble with it and late Saturday afternoon needed some parts. Called J & J, and they had what we needed, even though they had already closed for the day they told us to come by...they waited on us, took the time to go over our project with us and had what we needed in stock. Thanks to them we were able to keep moving forward with our project without waiting for something ordered online or for Monday. Will definitely visit them again soon and recommend them to others. ????
