I had a wonderful experience with Tyler Run! My first contact was with Chad, who came highly recommended from a dear friend. He came to my home to give me an estimate for my trade-in and was transparent, fair, professional and patient as it took me nearly a year to finally pull the trigger! My contact when I was ready to buy was Joe. He was kind, very professional and understanding. I never felt any pressure which I appreciated. Finally, Dale made the trade-in/purchase paperwork easy and quick. Overall, probably the best car buying experience I've ever had.
I recently sold my father's vehicle to Tyler Run Auto Sales. It was 16 years old but with 55,000 miles and in showroom condition. During the process some mechanical issues were discovered that we were unaware of. We worked through those issues and they made an offer that was more than fair. I had previously purchased a vehicle for my son at Tyler Run about 10 years ago and was treated very well also. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Just want to write about what a great experience I had at Tyler Run Auto.
Joe was my point of contact and answered every question I had, even sending me extra pictures and a video when asked, due to the distance I would be traveling for the truck. Chad accommodated me with a different warranty due to the distance I was traveling to purchase the vehicle, where I can now take the truck anywhere to fix, if need be, instead of attempting to take the truck back to their shop. Lastly Dale was great to work with and had all of my paperwork ready for signatures by the time I was done looking/test-driving the vehicle, I purchased from them.
I just want to say thank you for the hassle free and easy purchase. I highly recommend this dealership and team, if you are in the market for a used vehicle.

My dad purchased a car from Tyler Run Auto less than 4 months ago. It’s been problem after problem. It won’t shift or start. It now sits in the driveway Undrivable. A stressful experience.
We drove drove an hour and 20 minutes on April 12th to look at a silverado. Everyone at Tyler Run were great, very honest, and up front with us. They are by far the best dealership we have ever worked with. Not only were they up front with us and honest, they gave us an awesome deal on our trade and stayed late to get everything done. This is the first dealership that we worked with and did not feel pressured to buy. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Called around to different dealerships until I called Tyler Run Auto Sales and found out they had a manual Tacoma for sale. Spoke with Joe over the phone and he was very professional and helpful. Came in to look at the truck, went on a test drive, and was impressed. After my loan was approved it was smooth sailing with Dale to finish up the paperwork. Clean office and a clean shop made for a pleasant environment. Paperwork was short and sweet and I only dealt with Joe and Dale. I would purchase another vehicle from them when we’re ready to get something newer.

Do not buy your vehicle here. I was looking at a 2008 Honda Accord they had posted online. I had spoken to Chad over the phone 3 days in advance that I would be coming to look at the car and in which time they must not have thought to look over their vehicle to be sure it was good to go before a sale. Upon first looking over the car, I spotted a small leak from the power steering pump which had been leaking down into the alternator. This is a major issue that Chad couldn't seem to find as an issue and said he would take $100 off of the price because of it, when this is a couple hundred dollars to repair if both power steering pump and alternator were to fail. (Alternators are NOT to be internally lubricated) The plastics that cover the engine on the underside of the car were hanging down, though it's just a couple of plastic clips to fix it this should have already been addressed. The front of the driver's seat plastic was popped out from where it sits, in which I was told "we can pop that back in for you". Which would be great, but again why wasn't this addressed before parked on the lot. I then noticed the rear driver's side rocker panel had been smashed in and a groove into the metal, this was painted over in black paint. And then found that the transmission plug was missing, this can let water and moisture along with road debris and dirt into the transmission. Again a cheap part to fix this but how long has the car been ran without it? This dealership already had the car for over two months by the time I went to see it. Could have been for a while before they even got it. I was shown a work order in which they had replaced the front main seal, on something with just over 100k miles that's not that common and just tells me this car was beat on. Looking around the lot you can see illegitimate fixes on multiple vehicles. Shady people just looking to make a sale.
I had such a pleasant experience here. Trading my car in was so easy and painless. From working with Tonya to schedule an appt and set everything up to working with Dale on signing all my paperwork. They worked quickly and efficiently and I could be more happy with my purchase. I would definitely work with them again. Thank you Tyler run auto sales!
I have had good experiences here in the past but this time has been just awful. Do not buy at this place.
I have a payment due on the vehicle we bought here coming up and we have had a month of every possible inconvenience. We thought the mileage and price were high, but trusted this place so were willing to pay the assuming the car would be well gone over. This should not happen when you pay 16k for a car. The glove compartment was a little funny. Seller said no big deal we can fix that. So they 'fixed' it. It broke and we can't even get into it. The sunroof only worked sometimes. The motor is done. So they said they'd fix it, but called today and Rick from the garage had no idea what we were talking about and couldn't give a straight answer on how long it would take. The first time we drove it at night it had no headlights. None. We had to get home with fog lights and high beams. When we called in the guy tried to tell us we needed to clean the covers! They finally put those in. Then it bucked, a lot. So they fixed that, which took several days. It bucked more, so they sent us over to the warranty, so we had to rent a car. Now we'll be out the $100 deductible for that and spent two days shuffling cars around. They couldn't find the issue. We've spent half the month borrowing cars and asking for rides, retelling the story to multiple people each time we call in multiple times and the person on the other end has no idea what is going on or tries to tell us they can't do what someone else just told is they would do. This is the most money we have ever spent on a car and it has been the worst experience I've ever had buying a car.
Should have listened to my brother. He says never buy a car if you don't see a high quality, well known set of tires on it!
It’s about time. I leave a review, Years after I got my car I am still continuing to work with this wonderful company. And when I say work with, I truly mean that from a customer standpoint, they are magnificent people that work with you no matter your situation they are extremely understanding. They do not judge.
I got my car from them at a really really good deal. It is a 2014 Ford focus and when I got it, there was only 8000 original miles on it. This was about two years ago. I believe I only put two or $3000 down. I can’t remember.
But either way anytime someone says they need to get a car, I will always recommend talking to Dale or Tonya. They will help you with absolutely any of your needs, so I highly recommend Tyler Run Auto Sales whether it be buying a car or even having your car worked on they are all wonderful people and will help you with anything you need

The personal service that Tonya and Dale gave us was beyond what we could’ve truly imagined. My son and I were in search of a car. This was his first big purchase on his own. Hello i just purchased this 2007 jeep wrangler sahara unlimited from tyler run i am and more than happy with it but not happy with gas prices right now im getting 15.5 miles to the gallon but its a jeep want to thank the crew over at Tyler run for selling me this great vehicle
The people we dealt with were friendly and helpful. I got another vehicle at a good price! The vehicles seem fairly new and in good shape. A small used car lot gives you more personal attention. We enjoyed talking with Dale and Tonya.
I searched online for a car to replace my dying one. I searched near and far, and found this place in York. I'm an hour and a half away. I looked at the inventory and found my car I wanted. I found another identical one at a big dealership, I went and test drove it ,and it was the worst sales experience I ever had. I came to Tyler run next day and when I showed up they were nice and friendly. Not pushy at all. I drove the 2 I had in mind. They worked it out with me and stayed late to finish the sale. Was great experience and I love my car.
