After driving all around York in search of an odd electronic part with no luck-we got our luck back coming into Aaron's store. Not only did he go above and beyond to help us find what we needed, he also took the time to educate us on some of the newer warranties being offered by advance for maintenence parts like wiper blades.

No one in the store on a rainy Tuesday morning about 930. Went in grabbed the wipers I needed and stood there for 5 mins, two employees looked at me didn’t say a word and kept going. I promise this, I’ll never set foot in an Advance Auto Parts again and I’m a former employee. Truly disgusting

As an elderly lady in a new area, I was worried when the car light read need oil. I had just had it inspected & had a mechanic give it a good go-over. I saw the Advanced Auto parts sign & pulled in. The associate was very gracious & helped me solve the problem. Hard to find in these days.

I was told I needed a battery by another place. So I went to advanced to buy it and he tested my battery---it was good! I was so appreciative.of the salesman's honesty and help. My experience here was great and they are friendly.

I came here to get a bulb after having such a bad experience at Napa that I left without buying anything. Erin was so incredibly nice and helpful! After wasting time at another store it was so nice to get good help quickly. Thank you so much for making my day better Erin!

I asked the lady at the counter for help as to which oil filter is best for my truck. When I wasn’t sure if mine was a 5.3L or 6.2L she gave me a very rude response that I should know this before I come in. I explained to her that as a customer I needed help not a lecture she responded back in a very rude manner again. I left without purchasing my oil and filter. I went down the street to the competition and was treated in a pleasant manner & with respect. Guess who gets my future business.

Been a 20 year customer of this facility and never had a issue till recently..the helpful customer service I've been use to has been thrown out the door.. previous 3 visits no help whatsoever..sent my son to get brake pads and rotors and she only gave him the excuse that he'd have to go home and measure the rotors and come back with those measurements... seriously...sent my son to AutoZone,,he was very surprised how helpful they were and got the correct part's no questions asked... Advance auto has just lost a 20 year customer !!!

Extremely helpful staff members. Awesome service guys for the professional assistance you gave us on our car with the defective wiper blade. You politely looked up our information, grabbed a new wiper blade, removed the defective one and installed the new one with no questions asked. This is the type of professional service that every business should provide to it's customers. Job well done!

Horrible Customer Service. Visited store today. Even though we waited at counter a couple mins, and we were the only customers there at the time, was ignored by the associates. I asked one of the women what was her name, which she didn't want to say. After I asked does she work there, because she had no clearly identifying uniform that would show that she was an advance employee, she said yes. I asked her name again. She said her name is Celeste. I'm guessing she didn't want say her name because she was being a horrible employee. She was casually, slowly dusting windows while ignoring me. Dusting windows super-slowly and unproductively is a task to do between customers or at end of shift. I want to give zero stars but since one is the lowest option, the credit I'll give them is they do recommend another store that can help you since they can't (only I couldn't hear it because she talked quietly and mumbled).

Had so go to another advanced because they wouldnt return a tool I bought and never opened. A few of the employees there are great some are average. But it seems alot over reviews complain about the same lady that couldn't do my return well she didnt realy try.

I needed a bulb for the trunk and lost the one my nephew took out to buy a replacement. No problem except I had to walk put to know what my car was LTZ or what. I felt stupid. Got the new bulb put it in myself then I remembered I wanted to know where the interior air filter was. The guy looked it up told me and I was nervous did I want to fiddle with looking in the manual they said it's easy just pop out the glove box BUT that's not where it is. It's under the hood. I almost decided to forego the thing . The salesman said go online etc. While paying he downloaded the video on his phone and I watched the video . Very nicely done. There was 3 behind the counter all knew a lot and were very helpful. Not just with me but with other customers they went after what the customer wanted instead of saying aisle whatever. The store is only accessible heading East so I had to do a u- turn up the block. But I didn't mind that.

I've been here a few times before. Generally everyone working there seems pretty miserable. I returned some brake parts that were defective out of the box and was ridiculed by one of the employees asking how I verified the brake discs were warped; for the record I used a dial indicator but why should it matter? The parts were unused and I had a receipt with all the packaging. They did take the parts back and issue a refund but it was pretty obvious that the guy behind the counter was on a bit of a power trip.

Today I came in for an oil filter and oil. I needed help finding the correct oil filter but never got assistance because they only had one employee working. Once I finally found the correct oil filter, the cashier (Sunny) was very rude while I was checking out. I don't think I will be shopping here any time soon.

This Advanced Auto has a lot of selection for different cars. I do have to say I'm a little disappointed in their European selection, due to the fact that when I went to ask for some parts for my Volkswagen diesel they had hardly anything. They did have though, we're decent and the prices were on par with other Advanced Auto places. When the staff are available to help at least the one gentleman that I dealt with seem to know a little bit about what I was going through with my Volkswagen and seem to help a little bit.

The service was great. Sandra (guy) listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. Found everything that I need and even looked for deals that I could get. I mean he made me feel like I was important customer and it felt good. As long as he is there I am going to go to this place every single time.

Service isn't necessarily the fastest but that's because the service is good. So you might wait a bit to be rung out but that's because they take the time they need to make sure you understand what you need to and have exactly what you need so you don't need to make a second trip for the same project.

Sales associate who helped me did the best he could. The computer system there is ancient, so the transaction took a little longer than it should've. The sales associate had good advice, and I was pleased with the price I paid. Good value. Good advice.

Best people around for customer service. They treat you like your having a bad day. Because you probably are. Think about it... your at the car part store. Who’s having a good day when you need parts for your car. They will try to help the best they can. But remember they are just sales clerks, they don’t know everything. But they are nice and will remember you. So just because your having a bad day try not to give them a hard time

Terrible Service! The service person was rude, offending, and had no idea what he was even doing. You could easily see that he didn't want to be there or help anyone there. Ask about a simple part and he didn't even know what part of the car it was from. Then told a woman to just get in from a junk yard. He won't even go to the car to look at the part. He eventually did go outside to help another woman as he lit up a cigarette and then set it down to jump in her car. Hopefully they get rid of some of the staff. +Update. I have gone back and the staff is much better. Some of the staff have been really helpful taking extra time looking things up.

Trevor went above and beyond not once, but twice when I visited this store. He was helpful, knowledgeable and gave the best customer service I have ever received at an Auto Parts store! If the store has an Internal rewards or recognition program, then I vote for Trevor!! His level of professionalism is exceptional as I witnessed a very unruly and frustrating customer during my visit. He provided that customer with the same level of service ( even if it was undeserving) as he did to me. Great job Trevor!!!!

I love this store! I started a project car a while back and go there often for parts, both large and small. They are just as happy to sell you a small $1 part as an expensive order. Always friendly and helpful.

At this writing it is really cold, like in the single digits. My wife's car needed a jump start. We showed at the E Market St store about 8:50 PM, they close at 9:00 PM. Ryan came out and tested by battery and determined it needed replaced. And his coworker installed it. No problem even though it was after close by the time they started the install. It was quick and easy. They offer free battery testing and the will install the battery at no charge. Can't beat that.
