Dealers beware of Adesa Clear. They are sending vehicles thru this program that have bad transmissions, bad engines, and a host of other undisclosed issues. Green light means nothing, ive gotten ones with bad transmissions that were green light. I bought an "as is" car recently with "heat shield loose" as the announcement - turns out the transmission was shot and it was overly obvious at parking lot speed - they refused to do anything said it was my problem. DO NOT TRUST THE CR, the people that check over the cars have no idea what they are doing. If you buy over the internet without inspecting the cars in person, you WILL get burned!
Adesa clear has become deceptive in their condition reports. Sold me a car that doesn't drive but closed my arbitration because it had a trouble code disclosed. Management still can't define for me what drives mean's in the CR ....... hiding behind not having a light system anymore. Arbitration closed the case without even a conversation. For those that remember back lot cars ...... it feels familiar ....... after 30 years I expect to be done at Adesa
I thought I would give Adesa another try after a few failed attempts at other locations. Welp Adesa is Adesa no matter who owns it. They wouldn't release my vehicle because I owed $25 yes you read that right $25. Couldn't pay online, I had to send payment by mail. Did I mention that it was my vehicle that I brought in to sell? Not one that I bought from there.

Had the opportunity to meet with Kevin Luring / GM and found the auction facility to be one of the cleanest well run auctions in the country. Vey pleasant staff in the lanes and the office.
Transporter think twice before you get cars from here, you will lose half day just walking, I will try to avoid this place, definitely will not come here, check the photos were you need to park and how much you have to walk to get your car

Sleazy practices run rampant throughout this auction, starting with George Johnson on down. Certain dealers have certain rules. Dealers of color are treated unfairly. All of the drawings are rigged, Hi Lo wins every time. Franchise dealers complain when their vehicle is arbitrated so the auction will simply inherit the vehicle. Other sellers are punished when it happens to them. CR department manager is completely unprofessional and will take bribes on the side to rig post sale inspection deals. Lease department manager is incompetent at best. Whoever runs transport is a joke. It once took the lady in there nearly 2 weeks bring my cars. What do you expect when mangers date the employees and HR is too scared of George to do their job.. We all know PADE is gone but this place seriously needs to be retooled from the top down.
Very danger auction....
1st when you picking up a car for dealer you have to drive from security on Main Street crossing another street with out tag and insurance Ect. When there is a lot available on same parking lot where is the truckers avoid of any risk.
2nd hours of pick up now same as office 9-5 if you lucky!!!
Why not from 10-4 or 12-5 ????

BE AWARE DEALERS AND BUYERS This auction is the worst place i have ever been to all the cars/trade in cars are all abysed and destroyed prepaired cars just to make it threw the lane BE AWARE it is not worth the headache and the money coming to this auction. They hide the check engine signs with tape inside the speedometer or they take then off and once you leave the auction you are on your own. I went there from new york to purchase me son a car i drove it inside the auction and the car was perfectly fine 50 miles later all the codes came on without showing up on the dash but once i commected the computer it had 9 codes on engine transmission and the abs syste.. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS AUCTION DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR THE MONEY IT IS NOT WORTH IT DO NOT GO HERE. JUNK CARS.
THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY, POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. THE SELECTION OF CARS IS A LITTLE LIGHT BUT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING YOU CAN FIND A FEW GEMS IN THE PILE AS A BUYER. NO IT IS NOT P.A.D.E. ANYMORE BUT WHO SAYS THAT IS A BAD THING ? I PLAN TO CONTINUE TO DO BUSINESS AT THIS LOCATION
