I have had nothing but good experiences with criswell’s. I have always had lowered cars and they are the only company that will continuously tow my car and not damage it at all. They have amazing customer service and great pricing as well if you need a tow I highly suggest calling criswell’s.
Getting LOCK 🔐 Out can be very stressful 😫 Thankful Criswell Towing was there ! To the rescue, my little one had lock my vehicle out. Thankfully my little one was out already. Not even Rams Dodge was helpful. Thank you for helping me when I needed the most. I am forever grateful. Don't think twice, use there service. Only the haters will give them a low star 🌟. If I could do zero stars I would. I had a scheduled tow from 1-2 pm and they kept pushing me off lying saying the driver was busy. When it turns out he was in Dover office the whole time. Then they say he just went home. Then it turned into a family emergency. They constant lie and push you away. They inconvenienced me because they are a terrible company that doesn’t have a sense of time or responsibility I hope whoever uses them will seriously consider using someone else.
If I could give zero stars I would have. Absolutely horrendous service! Used for EMERGENCY roadside assistance. Left us sitting in the heat with NO COMMUNICATION on their part for over 5 hours! When WE called them for updates they told
Us they were picking up other jobs and would get to us eventually. Will NEVER use their services nor do I recommend anyone to use this horrendous business.
Expect to wait at least twice as long as they tell you for a tow. Initially 1.5-2 hour wait, after 2 hours it turned into another 20 minutes. I waited another hour and they still said it would be another 30 minutes. It ended up being close to 4 hours wasted, terrible experience. Cancelled and switched to another company.
While we were visiting the York fair grounds. Our vehicle was towed in an adjacent parking lot. The signs for private parking were not very visible and when we first got there we noticed someone else being towed. However we didn’t think anything of it but as they saw us crossing the street they could have notified us to move and they didn’t. A shady run business. Stay FAR away.
7/16/24 1:16 pm - got a text msg that they will be arriving in 120-150 minutes to tow
7/16/24 3:56 pm - another text that they will arrive in 45 min
7/16/24 5:00 pm - called to get an update, lady was super rude and said another 60-120 minutes
7/16/24 8:00 pm - nowhere to be found , no heads up, no calls , nothing
If you want to waste your whole day with unreliable service this is the towing company to use.
Heads up. AVOID this tow company at all costs. My classic Mercedes SL500 broke down in York and Haggerty Insurance called them to tow the car off E Market St. near Home Depot. They said they were busy and it could be up to 2.5 hours to get to me. After multiple lies from them, 4.5 hours later they were still just "25 minutes away" . . . Haggerty was no help at all either. We had to abandon the car till the next day and will get a tow company ourselves, one that doesn't lie to you and jerk you around. What a clown outfit. If you're too busy to do the job, tell Haggerty, don't jerk around people in trouble. 💥 I found out later the owner was in prison for strangling his girlfriend after she got in a fight with his wife . . . go figure.
I did not have a car delivered and they turned around in my freshly grade driveway I was not done with so I had to redo where he turned around ps don’t turn around in the driveway again please and thank you
The people were very nice it took the omost 4 hours to to come get us with Is a little unacceptable considering we were broke down on a bad part of a major highway
Billy is absolutely amazing and such a sweet soul! I was just a scared mom, not sure of what to do, with my 3 littles screaming in the back of the hot car on the side of the road when Billy stopped to check on us. I couldn’t be more grateful!
As a woman who had her first time brake down on the side of the road. I’m so thankful for Criswells. I felt safe and enjoyed the ride with the driver Tony. Very professional & Hard working people! I very much will be recommending him to all of my friends!
They do great work always on time have used Criswell’s for many tows will always be my first recommendation. The Owner Angel is definitely a great person.
Don't go here at all. Highly don't recommend. Had vehicle towed here due to it being close. Knew what the problem was with the vehicle, was informed it'd take 24hrs to have the part ordered and vehicle fixed. After almost 3 weeks of being without a vehicle we just got the truck back NOT FIXED. Called the shop and the manager himself multiple times during the wait period. Was told it'd be taken care or got straight up ignored multiple times. Got the vehicle back today and found fast food wrappers/bags/and mud all over the interior of the vehicle. A 2hr fix became a 18 day problem and now I'm back to square one fixing it myself. Don't ever go here.
5 STARS to Criswells Towing!!! My car needed Towing unexpectedly this morning & my roadside assistance sent Criswells. Once they were dispatched, the driver, Tommy, showed up within 30 minutes! I was thrilled. He was professional, friendly & even dropped me off. I didn't have a ride so that was so nice. I def recommend Criswells!
I was told the tow truck would take about an hour. I thought that was kind of a long wait time but I decided to go with them. I called back after waiting an hour with no response. Then I called back using a different number and they had no idea about our car needed to be towed. I would stay away from here.
Horrible to work with, I needed my car towed and it was set up and scheduled through a towing coverage I have. The driver texted me, later in the day but I was in the middle of something at the time and didn’t see the text til 30 minutes later, I immediately texted back and then called twice, leaving two separate voicemails and got no response on the status of my vehicle. I went to the location it was supposed to be towed from and the car was still there. This companies drivers have horrible communication skills. I would not recommend at all! 🤡
This is the company that was towing vehicles for around the fairgrounds. Their signs have a blank background with dark lettering and they aren't placed appropriately at the parking lot they were in and in that large parking lot, I could only find 2 of their signs. Then they charged $300 cash to get your car back and said it has to be cash. Just seems sketchy to me.
Horrible company. We have been parking in a parking lot across the street for years when there is no parking in our area. Never any issues, always allowed to park there. Our street is closed for months and so even less parking now. It's not like we want to park there I would rather park by my house but have to when there is no parking for blocks. Last night my son had no where to park so parked there. Today his car is gone. Called the cops to ask and they confirmed he was towed, said they unfortunately don't agree but they have no decision in it. Criswell's towed my sons car because they put signs up now but never let us know he was towed and never gave any neighbors a heads up the signs went up, no notices, nothing. None of us were aware. So my son is thinking his car was stolen. Had NO CLUE where it was towed or who towed it or IF it was towed. No note or phone call at our address. Also, there were other cars there that parked beside him and were NOT towed but HE was towed. So why was HE towed and no one else?? Then they want $200 for taking my vehicle and $60 extra a day. Anyways, just bad practice.
I was in a very big bind they understood help me out and they're very courteous and understanding they will treat your car like it's their own. I would do business with them again absolutely
I had a tire blowout on I83 outside of York. Good sam said 2 to 3 hours and gave me criswells number.i called them and was told good sam gave them wrong address. I sent them a picture of where I was. The tow driver arrived within 45 minutes and towed me to a tire dealership. Very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend them
I was told an hour by the time things were said n done and I called elsewhere I got a call 3 hours later by that time I had cancelled and waited 7 minutes for J and K and when my car reached its destination there sat a Criswell truck with the driver coming out of a pizza shop
Great customer service. I was really in need of towing. I was stranded on the highway for hrs trying to get back to Washington D.C. I was calling around just trying to find some place that could help me and it was either nobody was gone take that long of a trip or the price was very high. These guys was willing to help me out and at a very low price then everyone else. The service was fast. These guys are life savers and I’m very grateful for what they’ve done for me
I had the geltman named will I would recommend him to anyone. Will had several calls today mine was non emergency but he kept us posted on everything and any updates that were needed.this man deserves reward or raise I could sit all day chatting if I could this world needs more folks like him
