Two floors of almost anything you could wish to find, including art, salvaged items, quirky bits and fun. Antique mall-esque with many vendors and a good mix to keep it interesting.
Make time to peruse. So many nooks to explore. Most anything you can think of. I have gotten a variety of things. Architectural pieces., doors, manuals, locks, glass door knows. Also perfume bottles, glassware, figurines, large area rugs and so much more. The staff is excellent and so helpful. Prices are so resonable.
Very expensive and even broken and damaged items were priced at top dollar. I also watched someone come in to try to sell them some items and they were lucky if they offered them a $1 an item
Just ok...there are better shops out there. The prices definitely seem higher than other antique shops in the Lancaster/Harrisburg area. And as someone else pointed out, no one should be proudly displaying Nazi memorabilia, its shameful.
My friend & I were extremely appalled to find MULTIPLE Nazi items on display here. One was even behind glass front and center as if it’s a prized possession. NO ONE should collect Nazi paraphernalia- it’s not a collectible- it’s a stain on humanity. I am shocked the owners think this is ok….
Very nice people who run the store. Everyone is greeted who walks in and given directions on navigating 2 stories of stuff. Very rarely do I walk out of an antique store with nothing and this was definitely a time. It looked like a bunch of leftover stuff from auctions, things I could buy at a thrift
store. Things were a little bit pricey for the quality as well.
Think salvage meets antiques meets vintage with a retro section (Circa). Good quality, lots of variety, and great prices. Staff is courteous and the store is well-laid out!
One of the best antique/vintage stores in York!! I adore this store. It's huge and it will have you looking for HOURS!! My fiance and I were there for 2 hours but could've easily spent a 3rd there. There's 2 floors, and they have everything from little trinkets to furniture. Great layout, and everything is very reasonably priced compared to other vintage stores I've been to. 100% recommend.
My husband and I went here to kill time before dinner, but I was so pleasantly surprised! I usually think of antique type places as either selling old dressers that are a few thousand bucks or selling Happy Meal toys from the 1980s (which in my opinion are not antiques or even interesting), but this place has such a nice mix of interesting and unusual pieces at prices that seemed fair to me. We were here for about 45 mins but would have spent longer had we left ourselves more time!
Absolutely worth a trip, so interesting and fun to look around. Prices are a little higher and can be hit or miss. They've been re-organizing, so we'll see how that works out!
Love this place, was put on a waiting list so I could rent an aisle, though they said it could be up to six months, as I was the fifth person, I came in all the time, purchased items, would call as well once per month as I didn't want to ever waste the cashiers time, but now it's been 16 months and they just kept telling me they would call me, but after awhile they stopped even telling us where I was in line. I just wanted to do this since I had to retire because of cancer, would have been something nice to do, since I owned Vizcaya Home Designs and my grandmother, grandfather, sister, mother, best friend and myself were all interior designers. I finally gave up and unfortunately I get too excited when shopping there and feel they weren't being honest with me for whatever reason, maybe because I'm a male or what have you, maybe how ugly I am after this fight with chemo, etc I admit, I no longer look fashionable, but I have nice clothes and I have OCD for hygiene, and I travel a lot to Cape Cod, Savanah a,!Gulf States/plantations with transportation, but anyway not sure, but I certainly was able to talk the talk and know my eras and design lingo. Oh well, it's still an adventure and could spend a whole day there, most will enjoy. Please watch small children however, antiques are sometimes worn and frail, and often used to look at and not utilitarian, so please watch children whom often like to grab things without much consideration as to the fragility of an item which often can be worth much more than one may first presume. Not a good place for little ones unless they are in a stroller. I would think without supervision one could even hurt themselves from heavy metal items that could fall over or cut on the extensive glasswork they offer, especially when one may be searchingn for a sought after pattern from old China artisans, that may have a set for 6,8 or 12 seating but now misses the all important sugar bowl or it's lid, it could mean hundreds of dollars discounted because it's no longer a full "Proper" set so just please watch the little ones.
Very nice antique and salvage store. I saw several things I wanted to take home. Couldn't leave without an affordable pink vent cover. Took pics if other things I most likely will come back for. It is very large, was there over a hour. Definitely recommend a stop here.
I have never been here because I don’t live close, but tried. I called to see if they would keep the store open for 10 extra minutes. They acted like this was such an inconvenience to them. Sorry to say that my client had a lot of money to spend in this place, but because of their attitude, the money was not spent. Onto better places. Maybe they have great stuff but because of their snooty attitude, we’ll never know.
So glad previous mgr gone. Kept me away for years. The atmosphere is so relaxing yet upbeat. The employees helpful and nice. I will definitely be back. Layout of store also more organized and not filled w repros like before. Really great store
This place is a gem!! Way bigger than you think, so block out some time to explore. Make sure to go upstairs and enjoy the original building features. The wood swinging doors and 60s wrap receptionist desk is something out of Mad Men.
Seems like about 75 - 100 little niches of vendor’s objects for sale. Antiques, collectibles, hardware, doors, lamps, furniture, books, vintage and retro, fads and styles it is all here. Plan two hours of steady wandering. Staff are kind and helpful. Plenty of room to move about easily. More than one floor. You will not be disappointed. Definitely look this place up when in the area. Big antique/vintage warehouse. You could spend hours looking around at everything Refindings has to offer. Little trinkets and glassware to amazing retro furniture in great shape. Something for everyone to enjoy here. If your interested in antiques or vintage items at all, you have to visit this store!
Love love love this place!! Wipe your schedule clean because this is a day trip kinda place. You can easily spend HOURS here. Each visit is an adventure? We have made several purchase here. The service is mostly friendly. I specify "mostly" because some of the service seem intense and quite focused on task at hand that friendly doesn't occur to them. If I am looking for something special, this is where I shop!
Fun place with a TON of stuff! It doesn't look like much from the outside but you could easily spend a whole day (and a whole paycheck) here! Def a York treasure!
