Wife and I popped in and paid a visit to this place while visiting San Antonio on business. The proprietor was very conscientious and helpful in spite of the fact that she was obviously busy. They have a lot of really amazing things in there, I wish I had the means at the time to buy some of the stuff and incorporate it into my own home in Ohio. Definitely a cool place, take the time to stop in and check it out.
Stepping back in time when quality materials were hand crafted. Those memories are salvaged and up for repurposing in our modern Era. If you need an historically correct door or window for a restoration or an ongoing revitalization this is worth a visit.

Architectural Antiques is the place to shop at if you're looking for items while fixing up your older house ?. They have doors ?, door knobs, window locks, window weights for the double hung windows. Stop in and take a look around.
I don't even know where to begin. WOW! This place has some amazing things! I only wish we were a little more equipped that day to haul some things home! So many amazing antique salvage pieces that probably all belong in my house! We picked up a ton of Smalls that day and have plans to come back for a lot more when we can haul it all home!

The outside of the building is beautiful but the hours on here arent correct and they actually open at 12p. Cant wait to try again when I eventually come back to the area!

DIY home renovators dream. A great place to get lost and see what's been collected. They also offer restoration services for old hardware (hinges, doorknobs, etc).
This place is huge, they have a lot of exactly what their business name suggests: antique architectural elements (doors, windows, hardware, brackets, railings, etc).. They will also reproduce many wooden details if you need multiples of something. You can bring them something to copy, or they'll copy something out of their own inventory and charge you only the same price for the item, not for the labor.

I've been there several times, looking for "just the right thing" you can spend hours looking thru the isles or old doors, windows, trim and fixtures of all kinds. Very reasonable prices on everything you guys have. I'm like a 60 year old kid in a candy store.
I purchased a pair of long leaf corbals from Architectural Antiques. Not only are they beautiful but well made. It was the perfect addition to a project that had been waiting for this decorative addition. Needless to say, I'm very picky when it comes to my projects. A great place to find that perfect something for all you vintage lovers. I give them a 5 ♡♡♡♡♡ rating!

I LOVE this place!!! Not only are the staff and owners friendly - THEY KNOW THEIR STUFF! I went to purchase an old window (of which they have plenty in beautiful condition). I walked out with that, a cute little hardware piece as an accent, a billion new ideas and so much more!! My daughter and I visited last week. We came in the back way and was greeted by a lovely young woman. I was looking for a window to put above an old cast iron kitchen sink I have in my garden that holds some herbs. She was very helpful as I forgot my gloves. I found a beautiful 6 pane window that was the perfect size. I must say that I was in heaven, this place is a rumagers paradise. I can't wait to return for another project.

I have had the opportunity and pleasure to visit this awesome store on a couple of occasions. The first time I was greeted and assisted by the most helpful woman ( I can't recall her name at the moment). The second visit I was blessed to meet the owners and engaged in the sweetest conversation about their daughter that I enjoyed very much. However, on each visit I was trying to find the perfect piece (windows and doors) the patience that was shown me was immeasurable.
Also, the history and stories that were shared with me about the items made me feel I had selected the perfect piece for my home and that I truly acquired something truly special and I was able to continue to give my piece new life. I'm very pleased with my experiences there.
Bought tub from Architectual Antiques. When I went back to seek help with problem with legs not attaching to tub, I found them to be rude and apathetic. I was informed that plumbers don't know what they are doing and I could take the tub out and bring it down and I would be shown how to fix it. When I expressed frustration with the service. (I was somewhat frustrated, I admit). I was told to"get the F.... out of my store". I said I wanted to return the tub and get my money back. I was told that things were sold as is and there were no refunds. Two young thugs appeared and told me to get the F out of the store. I was told I didn't know who I was messing with. I take responsibilty for loosing my temper with them but, that does not excuse their poor service or their threats.
