Great guys. I called ahead to let these guys know I was running late and i didn’t know if I was going to make it on time. Mr.Kevin stay open an extra 5 minutes for me and I was able to drop my scrap and continue on with my work day. Great guys will definitely be using them again.
You're better off taking your metal and steel somewhere else this place is a ripe off they are not paying nothing for recycling what you can get for $10 at another recycling here they give you 1$.
I only scrap at national,. I've been to about every scrap yard in town and national is by far the best and it's always clean and fast to unload your scrap thanks guys keep up the great work...
I have never been here before and the experience was great! This was my first time scrapping metal! This place had the best pay out! I called around many places for price per lb or per 100 lb and they beat them! It was fast! It was simple! They were helpful helping my truck and other unload! Customer service was kind and speedy!
I now what metal goes for when I went to sell metal and copper that I had cleaned sense I was a women they gave me less then half of what I should have gotten. So I would not recommend this place. They where very rude! I really don't even give them 1 star
the most amazing customer service i ever experienced at a place like this! we accidentally brought some stuff that we needed to sort out and they helped us do everything we needed with no complaints and all patience! i love this place and i will continue to come & always refer my family and friends to this place! thank you National Steel Recycling for being so amazing and helpful
Ive been to other scrap yards and they have a scale that shows your weight loaded and unloaded. National steel doesnt, that isnt right whos to say they arent scaming the public.think about it
Checks are now required by law for regulated materials. You may get cash if you have a cash card (again required by law). This law went into effect in September 2015. This procedure is the same for every scrap yard entity in Tx. Great place with friendly service and competitive pricing. Highly recommended.
I thought this needed a new updated review. As of 11-01-2016, National Steel does not pay cash anymore. They give you a check now. To me, this causes some issues. People go to national steel to make some extra cash the same day. Now they have to cash a check. The checks are made out to Frost Bank. You have to now find a frost bank or go to your bank to cash the check. Sure you can go some where like H.E.B to cash the check, but it'll cost you money. So I received a check of $13 and had to pay $3 to cash the check. Not fair considering most people who go to sell their metals are low income.
only thing is i got two flats after going there from screws but they pay good and love the coins and the hot guuyss in the office are worth the flats lol
