If I could give 0 stars I would these people completely destroyed my car my thing is if you know you can’t do something why bother doing it my car is now not able to drive at all whatever they did to my car literally messed it up so I really recommend you don’t bring your car here because it’s really messed up they do business like this and lie about issues they caused and I’ve brought my car here before they sent it to a sister location without my permission and took forever to repair it now this time they literally destroyed my car I’m so sick with this whole situation you guys will get karma for this because this is not how you do business and you don’t go destroying people cars and then making up lies about issues that it never had that it now has after you went messing with things you were never supposed to be repairing.

If you want to again believe in an honest and generous humanity—especially in the automotive sphere—look no further than Ken’s! I was dealing with a frustrating oil leak (which also frustrated the mechanics here for quite sometime), but the team here worked with me for the long haul and treated me with utmost respect. It was a long journey, but the ultimate conclusion was a highly satisfied customer (me) who will return at all opportunities I can to support this business. Great people and highly recommended!

I've know the staff for over ten years and they have never treated me as a stranger. They treat you like family.

We've had three different vehicles taken care of at Ken's. Everyone there is great, and the prices and quality of work have been excellent.

I left my truck at Ken’s Texaco for 2 days, and they were unable to diagnose a ticking noise. They also reported “inconsistent mileage” to Carfax, which has not been corrected despite several follow-ups with Randall. I later took my truck to Alamo 4x4, where they immediately diagnosed the issue as an exhaust manifold problem and I was able to resolve it. Ken’s Texaco failed to fix the mechanical issue and has yet to address the inaccurate mileage report. I do not recommend this shop based on my experience.

This place was recommended by a friend. I am happy with the services they provided. It’s really great that they have enough people so someone is able to take you home and pick you up when job is finished. I live in the area so it would make sense that they would only do this within a certain distance.

Took my 2017 Ford edge in to get front drive wheel plugged in order to be operable to replace said tire. Tech said they wouldn’t charge me for it as I was getting my oil changed. Was quoted 2 hours. 4 hours later no word, so I called them and they said it was ready. Get there and one of the techs damaged my lug nuts but “not to worry they replaced them for free” and my bill would be almost $200. For an oil change and two patches. Felt pressured so I paid. $100 for an oil change and $35 per patch(when I told it would be free and they charged me for two) is highway robbery. On top of charging me a premium and damaging my lug nuts they didn’t even replace the two Air valve caps. I believe in free markets and a business is free to change any amount they wish, but you can’t change a premium only to fail at communicating and not meet simple standards. Wish it was a better experience.

Great mechanics a great full service station that automatically checks your tires Oil, windshield water, etc. as to the mechanics they are some of the best. I trust them.

Randall and his crew are great guys, honest too. Came by to get my tire checked and they found a piece of metal and got fixed up quick as a walk in. Thank you!

Thank you for checking my tires. Dashboard light was constantly on and I finally went to have it checked. Gentleman that helped me was very courteous and kind.

A Full service station. Gas is more expensive but worth every bit of it. So wonderful for a senior women not to have to pump you own gas. I will be back.

I love this place! They're honest, reasonable, and they treat me and my ancient old car as if I had a Mercedes. They do excellent work, on time, and for a fair price. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

We love Ken’s. Nice people who do great work at a fair price. Too many times to count they have fixed our cars and a much lower price than the dealership or franchise repair shops. Highly recommend Ken’s!

Got something stuck in my tire went to Kent's only cuz I remembered they exist well yes I had to wait but I was ok with that don't we have to wait at other places as well... anyways the guys that did my tire patch and whatever else was great. Very professional and quick since I wouldn't have made it to Terrazas I went here yes I think you should give them your business!!

There aren’t enough stars. I’ve used Ken’s for years and they are consistently considerate, professional, and over the top with service and customer care. They came to my house, changed my tire to a spare, ordered me the exact same tire and had it on my car within 2 hours and enough time to pick up my kids from early dismissal. They are top notch.

They do excellent service. Been with Kens since they were located on Broadway and Hilderbrand. I can leave my car and they are able to give me a ride back home. (And Randall is the greatest.) I highly recommend this station for repairs when needed.

Took my car there to get looked at. I was told I needed a new motor and costs would be about $8k- took it elsewhere and turns out it needed a timing belt. Cost me $300 with parts and labor. Car drives great!

This place is great! One of the few places that allows me to bring in my own parts for them to install. Most other places force you to buy part through them. Support local business!

Excellent service here. I had tried several places to get the low-beam bulbs on my VW Beetle replaced to no avail. The guys at Ken's were able to change them out with little difficulty which is no small feat as everything is difficult to do on a VW Beetle. They no longer do the state-mandated annual inspections, but they will do just about anything else needed to keep your vehicle(s) running.

I'm pretty sure this is the only full service gas station in San Antonio and it's fantastic. If your like me and can't stand filling up on the way to work and getting the smell of gasoline on your hands or are incompetent around a air pump or forgot how to open your hood and have no idea how to work a dipstick thingee then this is your place. Lee is extraordinarily helpful and always so friendly. This place is the best!

Total crooks. Didn't test drive my car or put it up on the lift then quoted me $700-$800 for a job that ultimately cost $300 at a dealership. They're good at pumping gas and fixing flats and that's about it. I live about 1/2 mile away and would love to support local. And I do. Just not these guys.

After 3 other mechanics and them not knowing what was wrong with my 09 Dodge Charger, this garage knew what was up and able to fix the issue instantly. Great service, friendly mechanics and would definitely go back for future issues.

This group of guys couldn't make auto repair more comfortable. They're honest and accommodating, polite and professional, and all about establish in long-term working relationships. No fear of being overcharged or hurried out here. UPDATE: One year and and I'm a lifelong customer. Knowing they're taking care if me is great peace of mind.

I was referred by a friend to Ken's. Great work and extra effort by the staff to make sure that repairs were covered by extended warranty. This effort saved me some money, I now travel all the way from the Northwest of San Antonio to get my repairs and oil changed. Keep up the good work. I will recommend them to my friends.

I have used Ken's Texaco for decades (even back when it was at Hildebrand and Broadway). I have known the current manager Randall Ratcliff for 30 of those years. It is such a rare blessing to be able to trust your "car man" so implicitly. His instincts and judgment are outstanding and his honesty and personal, deeply felt dedication to his customers shows through his service. He just rescued an old car I loved from the junk yard through dogged ingenuity and days and days of persistence and hard work. High praise to him and his crew.
