Worst experience ever. The seller was extremely rude and dishonest. I was charged $500 to diagnose and fix the car, but nothing was repaired. When I returned the next day, they still did nothing and treated me with complete disrespect. Since buying the car, it has had constant mechanical problems. I have already spent around $3,000 on repairs. I strongly do not recommend buying from this place.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Alamo Car Center. A positive experience overall. I appreciate their no pressure approach to vehicle sales. None of the pushy used car salesperson tactics that are typical in the industry. They were also particularly patient and generous with me in terms of test driving several vehicles and answering questions, as well as addressing a few last minute details to complete my sale. They offer a free 90 day warranty on full price purchases as well as a military discount. Jesse was professional, informative, and made the overall experience quite positive. I bought a BMW earlier this year from them. 3 months later no title. So I called them up and the guy named Jesse answered the phone I asked to speak to the manager and he said what can I help you with. I asked if he was the manager and he says no he's a sales rep. I said well my problem is earlier this year I bought a car and I still haven't received the title. The first thing he said to me was what did you have it financed like I didn't know that if I had it financed the bank would be holding the title I said no I did not have it financed I paid cash for it he says well hold on a minute and as I set they're listening to him typing and typing and typing, finally says okay I found you he said hold on a minute so he puts me on hold and then he comes back and says well we sent it off to the DMV you're going to have to check with the DMV and find out what what's taking so long. I said I need a check with the DMV and he said yes ma'am it's your problem and slam the phone down he hung up on me

Decent selection of used cars under 5K. We paid cash, and the purchase went smoothly. The car we bought has been a great car for my son, no major issues.

We felt we were treated with patience and Jessie listened our interests before selecting our vehicle. Frank was polite in terms of closing our purchase! Friendly salesman, gave me the info I need for the car I was looking at, Carfax was definitely a plus in their website. Manager Frank made it very easy to purchase the car I pick and explain about the warranty. Definitely recommend this place for a car.

Bought a car from them cause they stated they don't sale lemon cars and have a car fax but the check engine light came on the very next day after I bought it. I brought it back and they said unfortunately they were unable to help with that. Took it to the mechanic and he said it the catalytic converter which is very expensive. Now I have spent $8000 on a car I can even drive and back to riding the bus to work. I would never buy here again and suggest you don't either!! I only drove the car 2 weeks

Do NOT purchase a car from here! I had purchased a car and the check engine light came on the same day, not even AN HOUR after driving off the lot. they told me to bring it by. The mechanic told me it was just a $15 sensor I can replace myself, I went to AutoZone it’s a $130 sensor and they’re refusing to replace it because it was sold “as is” wheni was LIED to and told it was in perfect conditions “no problems” very unprofessional and upsetting that they’re ok with running there business this way. Especially because I’m a single mom on limited income and the sensor that is out HAS to be replaced or it causes other engine issues. If they will lie about a sensor they will lie about anything!!

Great place and honest about the vehicle bought. They have a nice lobby and friendly staff. No pressure to buy. Overall great experience and they have a large selection of vehicles to choose from.

Frank was great, I was hesitant to say the least when buying from a independent lot other than a dealer. But the experience was easy, simple and the vehicle was great. We love our "new" Land Rover and would refer a friend without a doubt. Thank you Frank.

Had an amazing experience yesterday with Tim the salesman. Even being the only person working the lot, he gave me and my daughter the time to test drive 3 vehicles, provided us with the CARFAX before we decided which vehicle to purchase. He explained his extensive knowledge in the car industry and guided us in the car buying process. We were allowed to walk away with a new car within our budget for my daughter. Tim also completed a 24 hour courtesy call to make sure our family arrived home safely and that nothing went wrong with the vehicle. I would absolutely recommend working with Tim again and we will be back when my next child is ready to purchase their vehicle. Thank you so much, Tim! We appreciate you! Please keep in mind that yes the cars are old and may have a lot of miles on them, but they are within a specific price range for a reason. Please do your due diligence when car shopping and trust your gut. If you don’t want to take a chance on an older vehicle, this is not the place for you.

Hands down the best experience I have ever had at a used car dealership. The transparency in the way do business is exceptional. They literally have a print out of all of their cars including year, mileage, VIN, and even days on the lot. They provide a CARFAX for every car they sell. Denis was our sales prep, and he quickly and honestly answered every question we had on multiple vehicles. Zero pressure and zero stress. I cannot recommend this place high enough. Already recommended this dealership to my son.

My son started driving and I purchased a 2009 Toyota Camry for him at Alamo Car Center. Staff here are extremely friendly, they allowed me to take the vehicle for a pre-owned inspection and was transparent throughout the whole sale. I was assisted by Parish, very friendly guy and no pressure selling - the manager Luis was also great. If you go into a used car lot with the right expectations of a used vehicle, you will come out ahead. Majority of Toyota's are bulletproof. We walked out with a great deal and my son loves his new to him car. They are also supportive of military. Thank you Alamo Car Center - Keep up the strong work !

**************BEWARE**************** These people don't care about anyone's situation, they just want to take your money. They seem real cool and only tell you what you want to hear. They allowed me to buy and drive off the lot knowing the vehicle had no coolant whatsoever. Which causes more expensive repairs. Also, a break light out. Not to mention it may also have an oil leak. If you're thinking about doing business with this place, I strongly suggest you have a mechanic look at it because even though they said they had their own mechanic check the condition of the vehicle, it was not the case. Horrible thing to do to honest, hard working people who just need an affordable, reliable ride. Shame on them and shame on me for letting them take advantage of me. I feel so stupid. I shouldn't have bought from here. I will be contacting BBB and a lemon lawyer about my WHOLE experience, including the experience I had with the old guy. And will be posting it on all social media outlets.

Thank you Glen and staff for such a great experience. I was dreading the car buying process with my 18 year old daughter but we ended up having a good day. The staff let's you shop at your leisure and let's you test drive as many cars as it takes to make the best choice for you. The cars themselves are something to be desired, but that's expected when shopping for used cars at great prices. I came in as an active duty service member in uniform looking to make an honest purchase on what I thought to be a reliable product. The car was far from reliable, the vehicle lasting maybe 2 months. The turbo on the engine had been “glued” together instead of properly replaced, and the engine had been cracked. Believe the reviews, these guys have no morals and would sell a “clean title” lemon to their own kin to make a buck

Great customer service and car buying experience! Luis was super upfront and fast and didn’t drag out the car buying process. The car I loved needed tires and he got 4 new one before we drove off the lot. The car is amazing. The cars are in a dirt lot so they get super dirty but don’t let that deter you. We washed our car and it was spotless. They don’t hover over you when you are looking and just let you look and test drive anything you want alone.

Super nice people. Will give you a list of cars and let you check out the cars on their own. Very helpful if you have any questions and I took the car to be checked in a garage nearby without a problem. There is a good selection of used car in the 6 to 12+ thousand dollars range. I found my 2011 Lexus here. They even replaced the wiper filters and some other items as I requested. A great buying experience. Thanks!

This review is about 5 months late, but I just wanna say a big thank you to Alamo Car Center for helping me find my next vehicle. I had been in search of a new to me vehicle for 2 months prior to November of 2021, but with the specifications I needed on a vehicle and with everything going on at the time it was harder and harder to find a vehicle everyday. The day I prayed to god that I would find a new vehicle, I was blessed with finding this place. I spoke to Travis on the phone the 16th of November and went and took a look the very next morning. A good 2 hour drive home and I didn’t have a single issue! Great people, just trying to help others. That’s what you call a business.

Pretty decent car lot selection. I purchased a good work truck from here and so far no problems and the salesman weren't pushing they let me look and drive and check it out.

Genuinely satisfied with our purchase and the process. We looked online and then came in person. Saw a couple vehicles and really loved one bc of the cleanliness and CarFax detail. The price they worked out was within our budget- not a cent more. Shout-out to David - he is super friendly and honest about the vehicles. Appreciate his insight. It was our first time buying and even then the process was smooth. They allowed us to bring someone to review the vehicle with no hesitation. They stayed a little past 6 to finish our paperwork- the gentleman that helped with that was friendly and thorough. Great car selection and prices. Not one car we looked at had bad interior or mechanical issues.Dave is the greatest and actually helped us pick out what ended up being the perfect car for our son.He was so great to us the previous day we came back and made a purchase today. The gentleman in the office gave us a great deal so everyone is happy.They even have a maintenance and warranty on their cars and don't sell salvaged/rebuilt titles like some of the places we visited. If we ever need another used car this is the 1st spot we'll check instead of wasting our time elsewhere.
