OTR driver here. Friendly and respectful people. They communicate clear instructions and get you out quickly. Easy docks. Looks like trucks are allowed to park at the nearby Walmart.
Good place to take your scrap metal, they are consistently the highest paying scrap yard in the downtown area. They don't haggle with you about what you bring, very fair and honest people running the show.

Apparently, I am the only person on the planet who had a 240v AC with flathead plug. Meaning, had a difficult time selling it and even recycling it. Until I heard about CMC! They recycled it! And gave me a few $s for it! Now I'm not the only person on Earth with a 240v flathead plug AC! Thank you CMC!

CMC at least has a recording & ya can leave a message with them . Let’s see if the 2 of y’all will respond to a customers question about being open and prices . Thanks , and I’m a older guy that’s not computer savvy but ole school to expect professional work ethics .
So this is just my personal opinion based on today when I was there being on the scale, the reading takes forever for them to get your weight, and the cashier is slow at doing his job and you have to sign a waiver in order to get help in the back to unload your metal that is just ridiculous. I had a bunch of heavy items in my trailer and they couldn’t even help me unload some of my hand. I had to unload all of it by myself. The workers just stand back there and stare at you like you’re dumb and then they walk off and act like they’re doing something to stay busy I would recommend this place to anybody Today was my first time here and will be my last time ever coming here

They are very thoughtful and thorough they inspected my bin and made sure I was a straight shooter also they looked through my copper scraps ,brass,misc wires and peeled copper and help me sort it so I get the most money in my pocket .
Fast paced. In and out. Staff was great at providing me with knowledge of how I was paid on metals categorized and where to go to turn in certain metals. Politecrew throughout. Helfull in every way.
I’m a truck driver who was picking up a dry van load of metal bails going to Alabama to be melted. I have to say I’ve never met people this friendly and nice at this type of place! From the gentleman at the scales to the two at the docks. Very friendly and professional! I explained that I had a little dirt in the back from the previous Dollar General load a few minutes ago they said it shouldn’t be a problem. I parked and went in to sweep it out and he had already started sweeping without me! Wow! Who does that! Anyway, we knocked it out quickly (team work) and they started loading. Everything went super smooth thanks to their professionalism. They have a great team working here. I’m very impressed! Keep it up guys!

We called to over 5 different recycling places for aluminum can pricing. CMC Recycling had the best price by .04 cents/lb under 100 lbs. When we arrived, they greated us kindly, were professional, and friendly! The 3 or 4 personnel we interacted with were all excellent! Thanks for a great experience! We will be back in the future!
This place is clean, fast, and pays the best prices for cans and scrap. We were very satisfied from the dock to the scale and the cashier. They've got a great team working there.
The staff was friendly and helpful. However they combined my bare bright copper with my #2 copper to pay out less. They also gave me a check instead of cash because I didn't have there card. The last thing is they charge you taking a check. Made no sense to me I will be going elsewhere to get more bang for my buck.
I went in the morning to go take my copper and the guys there are really really cool because they had some extra tacos there and I didn't have enough money to go get me some tacos but guess what they hook me up with some tacos and I bought myself a soda and I was Gucci them dudes there are really really awesome they help you out they stretch your neck off for you sometimes if you're hot then even give you a water thanks guys they call me the Young Old Man
I called early this week the lady gave me quotes on aluminum 2 prices and said will help sort it and pay according to what u have... I waited for someone to sort my clean aluminum and guy came and picked it up with a front end loader NO SORTING I thought since I had heavy clean large beams and sheets of aluminum they would pay me for different types of aluminum but NO .25cents for all I guess it was close to closing time and didn't have time so don't say will sort it and not...I could have driven closer to home and got the same cents

Some tips for the guys who’s driving semi,use entrance from Lone star boulevard, they got bigger scales, so u can fit there.
