I have been a long term customer at Hollywood Park Auto and have always received professional service and care. They are very thorough and my car is still working great after 16 years. I also appreciate the employees that always take care of me.

I’ve been bringing my vehicles to Hollywood Park Automotive for over 10 years, and I can honestly say Bert (the owner) and his son Kyle are absolutely amazing. They exude Godly integrity, are completely honest, transparent, and thorough in every service. They never try to upsell or suggest unnecessary work—which is rare to find in this industry. One of the things that stands out most to me is the loyalty of their staff. Their mechanics and lead technicians have been with them longer than I’ve been a customer, which speaks volumes about the kind of people Bert and Kyle are. Sitting in their office over the years, I’ve had the sweetest conversations with other customers who share the same experience—families that have trusted them for generations, from grandparents to parents to their kids. As a woman, this makes my heart smile. I know I can fully trust them in an area I’m not an expert in, especially after dealing with shops in the past that tried to sell me services I didn’t need. Hollywood Park Automotive has been a blessing, and I’m grateful to have found such a trustworthy place.

I have been going here for quite some time. They have always been honest and upfront about repairs and costs, and consistently do a great job. I won't take my car anywhere else. I also love that it is a family-owned and operated business with an established reputation and customer base.

You won’t find herder working people with as much integrity around! The owners and employees all truly care about their work and taking care of their customers, and you can feel it when you walk in. This is a place run by passion and love, 10/10 recommend!

Honest & dependable service. We’ve been coming here for decades. I like that I’m supporting great people & Christian locally owned small business. Never had a single issue the entire time I’ve owned my 2016 bc I purchased the SUV they recommended & inspected prior to my purchasing & I take it in for some preventive servicing/maintenance. They did some fantastic repairs on my other vehicles aswell & bailed me out when I’d been stranded years ago with a vehicle they didn’t inspect prior. You get what you pay for! Thanks HWPA!

I quit going here years ago because the owner would literally berate me over every requested car repair. I think that's their business, to fix cars., not to scold me about the extent of the repairs. The owner would unnecessarily raise his voice at me. I had come here for 20 plus years. The last straw was when I took my truck in for inspection and some big dude employee bucked up to me and angrily told me that my parking brake was out, so my truck couldn't be inspected. He didn't say it nicely, My first thought was why is he so mad and ready to pounce, my second thought was why can't they offer to fix the parking brake? Isn't it a repair shop? They don't have a very good temper and have a lack of interest in customer loyalty.

Bert and Kyle are great guys and very trustworthy. That's why they have a thriving business. I drive an oddball 2000 Plymouth Prowler and they do fantastic work. Highly, highly recommend them.

(I'm a Repeat Customer) The owner, Bert, has Hands-Down the most honest mechanic shop I've ever been to. They saved me over $10k on just two of my maintenance visits. Ex.: Toyota dealership tells me I need almost $6k of work on my rear end ('05 Tundra) and another couple $k on my engine. Took it 1/ 4 miles down the road to Hollywood, and I only need an engine seal and re-weld on a rear shock bracket, totaling just over $600. Amazing, and I was hooked on HPA. They solidified my business after I took my Honda Odyssey there because it's sounded like the rear tires were rubbing the wheel well, and I thought I was about to spend multiple $k's on new suspension and tires... I took it to HPA, the NEW (2 months old) Wheels and Tires I bought from Discount Tire, were the wrong size and too big! NO CHARGE. (It's a different story how I got Discount Tire to switch tires out) Hollywood PA had a prime opportunity to take advantage of me and put new everything on the back end, or all around the van, but they told me the truth and saved me Thousands of $$$$$. Take your vehicles here. Period.

I pulled up behind the bay for an inspection, asked a worker if I was good were I parked, and was told I was good right there. Within 90 seconds the employee in the engine bay reversed and hit my car. I got out and I didn’t even insult the guy, I was cussing and upset but I did not insult him or anything and he immediately got in my face trying to insinuate a fight. Even if I wasn’t supposed to park there, he still hit a parked car! He didn’t even look. And I was told I COULD park there. Strongly don’t recommend this ghetto establishment. Owner should immediately address this kind of behavior.

I was referred to this group by a friend who knows cars well. After one visit it was clear they were better and different than the rest. I have never taken a car anywhere else since that first encounter about 10 years ago. Always authentic and transparent. Have never been disappointed.

I've taken all my vehicles there for the past 20 years. Couldn't be happier. They work with you to fix what needs fixing and are willing to leave things alone if you are cost cautious. And talk about support afterwards! They've honored warranties past the warranty period, they've replaced parts that were defective without question. Prices are far more reasonable than dealerships (real world example: front axle replace: dealer $2200, HP $850. I can't imagine going anywhere else. I have been taking my cars here for years. Burt and everyone who works here have always been super nice and honest and they know what they’re doing. My cars have had frustratingly ridiculous mechanics and wiring and they’ve always fixed the problem. We moved a bit further out and aren’t as close to their station but I will still make the drive to get gas here just to support them and now I bring my kid’s car here for repairs. That is how much I trust them.

They are the most honest reliable auto shop that I've found in awhile. They are upfront about what it's going to take to get your car fixed and back to you as soon as they can. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else. All around top notch

Over the years, HPA has done a lot of work on my vehicles, they are the ONLY place I trust as a single woman to be honest and do quality work. They will tell you when a car should no longer be repaired instead of taking your money, they also inspected my current car before I purchased from a big name dealer and found a couple of items that needed work, I made the dealer fix those items and it saved me money in the long run. As long as I live in SA they will be my garage.

There isn't a better auto repair facility. Honest, upfront, and will not try to trick you into repairs you don't need. Can't tell you how many times I have brought in my car for a noise or a check engine light and they diagnose it and tell me it's not something they recommend fixing or they couldn't find an issue. Honestly that's the best thing about them. They are honest. I've been taking my cars here for over 20 years and I've never been disappointed.

I've got 2 old trucks & a Fiat. Things break regularly so I'm a frequent flyer at HP Automotive. They are the best shop I've ever worked with because they are honest and reasonably priced. I dropped my truck off a week ago & thought it was going to be an expensive problem & it ended up being a simple repair that cost $85. I've had several cases like this with their shop. That makes it easy for me to trust them when I actually have a more expensive repair.

I completely understand the rave reviews. Took my car here when the thick plastic undercarriage of the car had gotten damaged and was dragging. Within 10 minutes they fixed the issue and didn’t charge. Will definitely use this place again in the future. Nice honest staff that are courteous.

I will always bring my car to this service station. Super honest and reasonable with the pricing. Anytime the dealership told me that there something wrong with my car I take it to Hollywood Park automotive and they fix whatever needs to be fixed for a very reasonable price which is usually a fraction of what the dealership wants. The owner has owned the gas station in the automotive center for years. He is super friendly and very nice. You can tell he cares about his patrons. Can’t say enough good things about them at Hollywood Park Automotive!!!

I’ve been going to Hollywood Automotive for about 6-7 years now for all of my auto repairs and have NEVER had an issue with them. It’s a good honest business and the owner Bert and all of his employees are wonderful. Work is always done in a timely matter. They only do repairs on what is necessary, never try to scam by saying other repairs need work. Pricing is resonable, customer service is excellent. And more times than not, I have gotten my car back the same day. Sometimes within 3-4 hours even when they are extremely busy. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Highly recommend for your automotive repairs!!!!!!

Outstanding in a field where that does not always occur. We have been taking all of our cars to Bert and the crew at Hollywood Park Automotive and I will tell you it is harder to find a more honest and professional mechanic shop. He is truly concerned with the safety and care of his customers. They are fair and honest on their prices,,,not always the lowest but always one of the best.

Great experience. Burt and his crew are very helpful and quick to start solving problems. I've now bought 2 sets of tires here and am very happy with the quality of service I've received. This is now my go to shop for work on my vehicles.

I happen to know a good mechanic, as the old cliché goes ... Burt Thompson and his team at Hollywood Park Automotive have been taking care of my family's vehicles for more than 20 years. Honest, competent, quick, no-nonsense work. Not necessarily cheap, but they have never done anything that wasn't absolutely needed - and I've left there plenty of times where there was just a small adjustment or something needed and there was no charge. I could not recommend anybody higher!

Have been doing business with this firm for well over 15 years. Always honest- practical and prompt. They are in it for the long haul so repeat clients is what they thrive on.
