Doc, Victor and the entire crew always take care of me when my special European car (FIAT) has an issue. I’m not car saavy but I always trust they know what my car needs so I feel safe and good about my car. It’s close to home and the guys are knowledgeable and super helpful!
This shop took care of me quickly, efficiently, and effectively at a very reasonable price. It was recommended to me by a friend who lives in the area and now I recommend this shop to all of my friends. They diagnosed and fixed my car which was making an unusual whooshing sound when accelerating for around 70$!
Alamo Heights Auto Care Center,, Victor as the manager always gives me a fair price & honors their warranties. I brought my car in for a new battery & He only charged me $37.
Also, I brought my car in because the windshield wiper fluid was not working, they tightened up the
Plug on the bottom of the reservoir & It was repaired. It was still under warranty after 1- year & 11 months, which I didn't know about & Victor did not charge me For the repair.
This repair garage gives you very fair pricing, & doesn't rip you off as many other garages do.
I went today to have my car inspected and it was super fast and reliable!

The guy who did the car inspection who initials are J.A., he is great! Super friendly and speedy service. I even had some customers ahead of me, and was out the door in 10 minutes. I will continue to come here for state inspections. The state inspections here are truly $7, unlike other places who try to charge extra.
They are so nice that we brought back another car for State inspection and oil change. We may not go back to the dealerships anymore for maintenance for our older cars - good price/value.

This place was an unexpected blessing! From start to finish, I’ve had the best mechanic experience ever. My car was not starting, I was stuck at a public parking lot, I called the shop, and Raul took care of me! First, he did research during his busy day to see how much it would cost through them and let me know before I had my car towed to their shop. He sent out two of his mechanics to try to get my car started. They were able to know the starter, which was bad, and got it started. This saved me a claim for a tow on my insurance! We got to the shop and got within 2 hours, they replaced my starter and got it good! If my wife wasn’t close by the shop, they were willing to drop me home if I needed a ride. Five star service!
Historically, I’ve had good experiences here. But this summer, I took my car for my state inspection. Process was fine until it didn’t show up in state system. I left several messages at the shop - no call back. Went to shop, man at front desk said they couldn’t do anything to help. I urged him to at least try to look in system, he again said it was out of their hands and moved on to another customer. Went to register car in person, and they told me VIN was inputted incorrectly and shop would need to remedy. Called shop again several times and then waited in line in person for 30 mins before giving up altogether. They seem overwhelmed by administrative process of handling customers.
Had a screw in my tire and needed to get it patched. The gentlemen working saw me right away and had the repair completed within 10 minutes. Friendly customer service and repair was quick reasonably priced.
This shop was a blessing tonight. I had a flat at 5:00 (another story) nearby and an hour drive ahead. They are open till 6:00 and fixed it quick. They even packed my spare back under the hatch floor. Highly recommended this shop!
Took my car in for inspection, oil change, and new battery. Got all 3 in less than 45 minutes. Staff was friendly, courteous, respectful, and professional. Price was right. Highly recommend them for your car care.
One of the honest ones. I showed up with a flat tire today and was very concerned with timing as I had an appointment. Bryan had my tire patched up in no time. Some repair shops will take advantage and charge for a new tire unnecessarily, but not at Alamo Heights Car Care Center. Great experience and I will be back!
Fast and friendly service. I've brought both my Dodge Dart and Jeep Renegade here for service and they've recognized me even though my visits have been months apart. I trust them with my vehicles.
I am truly thankful for living in this neighborhood and have the opportunity to visit a local business with such a high quality services. I arrived to the Alamo Heights Car Care Center with a nail in my car’s tire, they were closed but two employees were still there finalizing their work. This place is run very well. The manager went out of his way multiple times to work around my schedule and he is super fair with pricing. He’s an honest man and that’s something I respect. If he feels he’s not living up to expectations about something he lets you know and fixes the problem immediately. I recommend this place to anyone.
A bunch of lazy and rude employees. Even there receptionist was rude and unwilling to help us. Don't ask for Tony, he will only be available when he wants to be. He's on lunch just about all day. They will charge you for every little thing. Be sure to look at everything they charge you for because if not they will add things that have already been payed. They tried to get us to pay the towing fee again after insurance already payed it, all while holding my vehicle. Then when we were fed up with them and decided to just pay there stupid fees and move the vehicle to get it repaired somewhere else they cant even give me a total to pay. OH and make sure you stay there local because they will not take any payment over the phone or online. All while holding my vehicle there, making me unable to move it to a different place. This place tries to rip off its customers, then when you decide to leave that place they will fee the death out of you.
These guys are amazing. It’s the kind of place and service that is fast disappearing with commercial places. Great competitive price with extra care and personal service you will not get anywhere that easily. I came for tire repair 25 minutes before they close and they got it done perfectly with a smile. Highly recommended.

Great customer service. The manager went out of his way twice to ensure I had transportation to and from work while they worked on my car. Even picked me up and brought me to the shop when they finished.
I called around pricing the parts and labor... They were the least expensive and did not treat me like just another customer, they really wanted to get me back on the road. All smiles
