First time patronizing this store and I will be a forever customer. Owner was so pleasant told me exactly what he would do and how long it will take and cost. The repair was done immediately. I’m glad I found this shop. Trust me you won’t regret it and yes I will send ppl to him from now on. Thank you so much for repairing my daughter’s necklace.

I have been coming to Squirrel Hill Jewelry for over 26 years and have purchased several unique and beautiful estate jewelry pieces. In addition, I have had jewlery repaired and rings sized. The quality has been consistent and Valeriy always does an amazing job. He is one of the rare master jewelers who has the skill to work with any precious metal or stone. I trust him and highly recommend his work. I added a photo of the platinum, saphire and diamond ring that he re-sized for me recently.

Went in to get a watch battery replaced. Never done that before so I'm not sure how it compares to other places but it was $20 and they finished in under 2 minutes. Set my watch to the correct time too, which I thought was a nice touch.

I visited this store today to buy batteries for several watches. The price was fair, and the batteries were installed while I waited. The gentleman was kind and friendly. He has some lovely older pieces of jewelry that I liked, and newer ones, too. I’m a satisfied customer!

Went to this location a year or so ago but to forgot to leave a review. Tried selling a Tiffany ring and he gave me a price that was just disrespectful. Ring was with over $20k.. he tried to give me $800 for it and said I wouldn't get a price over that in Pittsburgh.. Took it to another buyer in Bloomfield that same day and was offered $5,600.. Man really tried to gyp me and play me in my face, like I didn't know what I was talking about. Will never walk through those doors again.

Service was fantastic, even open on Sundays. Took care of me in less than 10 minutes and was helpful, professional and friendly.

It was a good experience, got to adjust the length of my watch and fits perfectly for my wrist now.

I had a fantastic experience at Squirrel Hill Jewelry. The jeweler was not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about their craft. Their expertise made choosing the perfect piece a breeze. I highly recommend this store to anyone in search of top-notch service and exquisite jewelry.

I went here to get two rings fixed about half a year ago. One ring required a new opal, for which the gentleman I worked with (not sure if he is the only person working there) took time to find a good quality replacement. The new opal is not only clearly better quality but beeeeauuuutiful. The second ring had been squished and the band was deformed such that I couldn't even get it on my finger. It could be the build of the ring that meant he couldn't fix it to 100% its original shape, but he managed to make it wearable again which is what matters to me as the deformation isn't visible once it's on my finger. Very reasonable cost of repairs/replacement and they have held up with no issue in the six-ish months that I've had them back. I was also contacted at the intervals promised and kept in the loop which I greatly appreciated.

I took my wedding ring and engagement ring in to be sized. I was quoted $500-600 to resize them and it would take a week to ten days. 3 weeks later I get a call they are ready. I put them on and they are HUGE! The jeweler wanted to argue I asked for them to be that size. (Not true and.why would I want to run the risk of losing them??). He said he would resize them from an 8 to a 7. Ten days later I get them back no they re still too large. If you are a jeweler you should know how to size rings. After paying $680 I walked out and went down the street to another jeweler who will make them right for $180. NEVER GO TO THIS STORE!!! It’s a rip off. Also the jeweler is rude.

Super friendly and professional. I went in to fix 3 bracelets and he was able to fix them all within 20 minutes for a reasonable price. Best jeweler I have done business with so far, will definitely come back!

I’m happy to say that I have been a customer for many years. I get consistently excellent service, always with a smile.

Been there twice. One for a battery swap and one for a new gold clasp. The prices are fair. What stands out though is the speed of the service and friendliness. He swapped the clasp in 10 minutes and the battery in 4 minutes and he remembered me the second time I was in there and thanked me. When's the last time a business thanked you in person.

The owner is a pleasure to deal with, and the service and pricing are always great. I have had several rings resized, appraisals done, and repairs made. I keep going back, because it's always a nice experience doing business there. ? Plus, I feel good about supporting a small, local business!

I am so pleased to have found this place! I had the catch on my grandma's necklace replaced and a new battery fitted in my watch, all while I waited, which took less that 10 minutes. The guy in the store is so honest and fair. I am really happy with the outcome. I highly recommend this place, he will do a great job and not rip you off. I will definitely go here again! THANK YOU!

I highly recommend this place. It is a small store, not a flashy chain, but the staff is scrupulously honest and fair, and the prices are good, too! You pay for YOUR jewelry here, not for the jewelry that the STAFF is wearing.

Very nice man who works there, fixed my watch multiple times, charged 20 bucks to switch links, and 30 bucks to fix the hand placement. however he was quick and responsive. definitely recommend anyone going there for jewelry or repairs.
