They are always helpful and very responsive. They service my riding mower annually - pick it up from my house. Prices are reasonable. Service is quick. I think they are very trustworthy.

Had a problem with a robotic lawn mower that I purchased. I didn't purchase it at steel City but the service technician, Bill, worked through the problem professionally and efficiently with me all the way to resolution. Will certainly use them in the future for my lawn needs based on the level of customer service that was provided.

Bill will go out of way to make sure the customer gets what they want/need. 100 percent recommend them to anyone!

Called this place about a tune up for my weed eater. The guy that answered my call told me stihls ain't worth servicing. Better off to throw it away because it wouldn't start. Ok. This is where it gets dicey. I watched a you tube video about cleaning the carburetor yes you tube but guess what. I did it. Only took about 15 minutes start to finish mind u I never did this before. Runs like new. They said it would be 150 to 200 to service a 125 dollar trimmer. What a bunch of con men. Stay away from this place. If u have a gas item that won't start go on amazon and buy a carb kit for 15 bucks you can do it. Trust me.

I took my pressure washer here to get the power cable all fixed. I first came here because I got referred here by a friend who works with gas powered pressure washers and they work with electric pressure washers. I was still under warranty and was told that they will take 2 days and they were going to call me by the end of the week. I dropped it off on Monday. I had a job to do on Saturday which I had to push back by 3 weeks. I finally got the call to home get it, which I drove 2 hours to them. My pressure washer heads were all missing as well as my brackets. Once I got home I realized that they had completely destroyed my pressure washer and it did not turn on. I took it back ti them, they finally fixed it which took another 3 days and they were able to find my pressure washer heads. My experience was the worse and I wished that it was not this way but it was unfortunately which is why they get 1 star.

Even though they get busy they always find time to help out and answer questions. Always going the extra mile. Love going here. Great service great products...love this place!!

My husband took his pressure washer here to get fixed. The pressure washer came back like it had been stored in a dirty place and more of the pressure washer was even more damaged when he picked it up. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for pressure washers or trusting them to take of your stuff.

Got my mower from here! Bill is a really good person and wants to make his customers happy. I can’t even tell you how many times he’s went out his way to help! They really know there stuff with mowers and other machines. I’m glad I’ve chosen this company to help build my company! Thanks bill

I have been working with Bill Oates from Steel City Mower and Plough for a couple of years now. Bill used to help with servicing my lawn tractor. He is very knowledgeable, gives you fair upfront estimates and stands by his work. Last month, Bill installed a Husqvarna robot lawn mower for my yard. It was a pleasure working with Bill on this project from figuring out which model to buy, he suggested 2 models (315X and 430XH) and said that either one was capable of doing a good job for my yard. I went with 430XH because it had some cool features, the installation itself was a lot of fun. Bill did a great job of patiently answering all my questions (and that of my neighbours too ?) and training me on how to use the unit. He followed up multiple times after the installtion and came up with aninnovative solution for the steepest part of the yard when the unit was going out of bounds. I would reccomend this company and more importantly Bill without any reservations if you have any lawn tractor repair or need a new lawnmowing robot installed.

Great service and quick return to rebuild my shave plate bracket along with a new plate on my snow blower, good price for the work, appreciated the pick up service as well

Called looking for a John Deere tractor deck belt and the person at the parts counter was helpful and knowledgeable. Luckily for me it was a part they had in stock. Now my tractor is back up and operational with less than 16 hours down time thanks to this shop. While I was at the parts counter I also had the opportunity to speak with one of their repair specialist about a power washer issue I had been experiencing. Even though there was no guarantee I would bring my power washer in for service he was very informative with possible causes & solutions. Knowing all well that a quote is simply that...a quote. I will be considering this shop for future repairs to my small engine equipment because of their customer service, even though I live in the Cranberry area.

*******I would not recommend this business to any one I know*********** A business success comes thru it's reputation based on service , cost and trust. You did me and yourself a diservice by increasing the cost with out my prior approval and losing my trust. No matter how little or how much it's the principal of it. I hope you don't confuse your success by the number of sales or repair that are done by you , by far not an indicator of success. Took my mower for basic service because had sat for two seasons. Was told they would flush out the carb and get it started for a specific amount. When picking it up I was charged a different amount. When I asked why the difference was told that they serviced the carb and it needed a kit and also a filter. Never received a call for pre approval. The counter person looked unphased and said I don't understand as if it's ok. It was my first and last visit.

These guys have consistently bent over backwards for my companies business. They take care of people. Would highly recommend

Bought a zero turn from these guys, great people to deal with. Had a couple issues with my mower and they tool care of the problem fast. Will continue to buy equipment from them in the future

Mower got taken in for ez walk cord replacement. Took 5 weeks. Got a completely different lawnmower back. I didn't originally take it to get serviced, but I wish the person that did, never took it here. W11573... Have to buy a new mower now. Thanks...

Called to order a part and they said it would take 3-4 days. I explained to them that I needed the part this week and they said fine. Called on the 4th day, they told me they never ordered the part! Really? They could have at least let me know, now I’m without a saw when I really need one. I ordered it on Amazon for less. Don’t do business with these people. I would give 0.0 stars if I could.

We had a great experience getting our second-hand lawn tractor serviced here. After calling a couple places with better reviews on Google and hearing that they couldn't pick up my mower from my location, I called Steel City Mower & Plow on a Tuesday to schedule service and they picked up the mower from my house the same day. They called to tell me there were a few issues with the mower deck (as we had anticipated there would be), and gave me an estimate for parts and labor that was exactly what the final charge ended up being. They had all the parts in the store except for one. Bill went to get the part on a Saturday, installed it on the mower, and delivered it that same Saturday afternoon so we could have our mower back before we went out of town. We were very impressed and happy with our service, and we will be getting our lawn tractor serviced here again.

I ordered a new expensive mower, with vanguard engine. A guy named tom, told me the dealer was on back order. I contacted the dealer, only to find he was lying! He simply didnt want to pay shipping fee.

Good, knowledgeable guys. Bought a Rider from them, it came in with a busted part. They sent it back out and hen delivered it a good 25 miles to my house the day it came it. Also because of the hassle they gave me a deal on a new chainsaw and weed wacker. Even though it's a little bit of a drive I'll send my business their way every time.

We have brought a variety of equipment in for service without issue. They typically stay open, after hours, to make the repair. We have also purchased from them for years. They have always stood behind their work.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Very unprofessional, very poor and slow service. They do not take responsibility for their work. They returned my lawn mower to me in worse shape than it was in when I gave it to them and they refused to address the problem and claimed that it must have been something I did.

Very helpful. I just stopped in to ask for some help with my 8hp small engine. They could not have been more professional and willing to help.
