This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
In Pittsburgh, PA, Dave's Towing trends highly positive: 82/100. Customers highlight fast response (even late night/Sunday), careful vehicle handling, professional, courteous drivers with steady updates, and fair pricing. Service often goes beyond the tow (help with wallets, rides, key drop-offs), boosting trust. The main concern is an occasional no-show, hinting at rare availability gaps. Reviews don’t address inventory variety, yard organization, or ease of finding parts, so insight on those is limited.
My car broke down and I was stranded. After calling four towing companies, TJ was the only one who stepped up to help. While I waited, he answered every call and gave me updates on his arrival. When he showed up, he treated my car with care and brought it safely to my mechanic. After the drop-off, he even called to let me know my wallet had fallen and that he had secured it for me.

TJ went far beyond what you’d expect from a towing service. He was reliable, professional, and genuinely kind. I would recommend him without hesitation for anyone in need of fast and trustworthy help.
The driver, TJ, was very kind and pleasant. Super responsive, I'm very grateful for their availability on a Sunday morning and I'll be using them for future towing needs!
Great experience they came right out and gave great price. Even waited with me at garage where it was towed until my ride came because it was late at night. Highly recommend
I had some car trouble and Dave's Towing showed up where I was in less then 15 minutes to get me to a service station. They were prompt, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. A highlight on an otherwise very lousy day.
I’m 22 and this was the first time I had car trouble. I was a wreck. This was the only company that answered me at 11pm at night. I was stranded on the side of the road because my tire fell off and they answered the phone quickly and were there within a half an hour. They were extremely helpful, got me off the side of the road and towed to where I needed to go. They even helped me and showed me where to drop off my keys at the Honda dealership. They dropped me off at the nearest gas station like (as requested) so my friends could drive me home. Have their number saved in case I ever have trouble again. 10/10 recommend. Thanks SO much.
