I had a great experience at Laurel Gardens today. I was in desperate need of a new tire, and my boyfriend’s cousin Jeremy works there and spoke very highly of the owners and staff -he was absolutely right. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Tina was especially kind and made me feel comfortable right away. I was in and out within 30 minutes, the price was very reasonable for such great quality, and the waiting room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent service all around. Special thanks to Tina for being so wonderful!

This is a place the locals know about. You hear about Laurel Gardens from a neighbor or a friend who have an extended family (who all use Laural Gardens). You learn that when you by a set of tires, you are getting the tires on your car mounted and ready to drive the next 25K miles, with NO ADD-INS. No charges for balancing, valve stems, or other 'per tire' charges. Cost per tire is cost per tire lump sum. It's going to very likely the lowest cost per tire because there's not a whole lot of corporate overhead, who you get to hear conducting corporate business as you sit in their office annex. It's a fast-paced place. The cost per tire includes free tire rotation every 5K miles. It also includes great advice in tire selection before arrival. After two morning's of flats, yesterday I got a free valve stem replacement and a customer thank you verbally and the traditional free customer appeciation calendar. Laurel Gardens has been my tire service for over 30 years since moving back to Pittsburgh and they are integrated into the North Hills community.

Good service, they are responsive on the phone and knowledgeable. They don't do appointments and are walk in only. We had no wait to be serviced when we came. Will be back for future tyre needs!

Can’t recommend this place enough! Today was my second visit after another flat tire. They’re quick, efficient, and very reasonably priced.

Fast. Efficient. Fair prices (best I could find) and friendly. I purchased a second set of wheels with snow / winter tires for my car and am happy to say this place rocks. Nate got me a competitive price and the whole installation was done in less than 30 min, that’s including with TPMS sensors being set up properly. The place has a nice little waiting area with free WiFi. And they said in the spring they’ll change out my winter tires for my standard ones for free. I’ll also add that the shop is located in a pleasant little neighborhood, not some noisy high traffic industrial / commercial zone like most auto shops. Definitely recommend!

Great place and good people but looks bad when their work van is at the weed store every other day.

I had 4 tires replaced today! These guys were amazing 👏 I will definitely recommend them to others. They were honest, fast and friendly! I, often, feel like we live in a time when people will make a buck no matter what it costs the customer. I appreciate Laurel Gardens Tire service for having integrity!

So glad I found this place. Top notch service, great experience overall. I will add I am a high attention to detail person, and they knocked it out of the park. QUALITY. My new tire shop moving forward! Special shout out to Tina for being so great on the phone and in person and for not trying to upsell me when she easily could have. THE BEST!

Great place to buy new/used tires and get tires repaired. You can tell they take pride in their business. Prices and service are both excellent!

This was my first time dealing with Laurel Gardens Tire Service, and it will not be my last! Service, Sales, ALL of it was great (fast, great price-affordable)! Nate Medsger was very informative, friendly, took the time to explain the differences in tires, and he even went above and beyond to find me a rebate. Talk about GREAT customer service! You now have a customer for life!

My first time going there this week for new tires. I called ahead to inquire and spoke to Nate, who was really nice and helpful. Answered my questions, explained things in a respectful way. I asked his recommendations on tires for my car, and what time was best for me to come in, and arrived during that time frame. It took maybe 15 minutes total. Lightning fast compared to other places. Everyone at the front desk was kind and courteous. Price was very reasonable. I will be going back and referring others. Thank you for the great service.

This is a great tire store. They have quality tires and provide quality service at a reasonable price. I have bought tires here a few times for my cars and will continue to deal with them for all my tire needs.

My experience with Laurel Gardens Tire Service was great. They ordered my tires and installed them the next day, in about a half hour without any issues. This was my first time there and I will be repeat customer.

They have always come through and helping me with my tires. Their waiting area is comfortable, although i never had to wait long. I highly recommend them.

An owner with zero accountability and horrific customer service. The front desk folks were delightful and some of the kindest individuals around. However the owner is beyond rude to his customers the second he thinks his wallet is on the line. I had an issue following my tire replacement where my car was suddenly VERY misaligned. This turned out to be an existing mechanical issue which lended itself to being misaligned more easily. Fair enough and after discovering it, I was happy to get the car repaired and aligned. However, until discovering the mechanical issue I had no idea what was wrong. All I knew was the car drove fine coming in and when I got my tires put on the car suddenly was crab walking down the road. Given the obvious I thought something went wrong during the tire service, so I brought the car back after driving one mile to test it out and be sure it wasn’t just releasing agent wearing off or something else normal. When getting back to the tire shop, the owner’s son was super courteous and helpful. Saying something akin to “that doesn’t look right, oh yeah let’s get this back in to help you out and see what’s going on. We can talk to the boss man”. At this point I’m thinking wow what fantastic service, he was kind respectful and open minded to finding out what happened. That is until I was handed off to the owner Tom. The front desk guy who brought me over to Tom simply opened with “hey boss we have a bit of a problem here”. To which Tom’s instinct was to immediately attack my character and accuse me of trying to defraud him and the company. He started telling to his son within ear shot of me “well do we still have his tires, tell him he can have his tires back and tell him to get the hell out of my business” to which I overheard and was immediately offended and tried to have a civil conversation and explain what I’ve described above. My car drove fine coming in and it all of a sudden is misaligned and driving sideways. I was in no way at this point in the conversation trying to lay blame on anyone. I was simply trying to understand what happened and ask the experts who change tires all the time for some advice and help so I can safely drive my vehicle home. Tom, the owner. He did not give me an ounce of credit, no benefit of the doubt, etc. He immediately started yelling at me, was close minded when I explained my car drove fine coming in. He kept cutting me off and just saying “how can you prove that you’re not just saying that”. Meanwhile I had just spent over $900 on tires, asked for recommendations on alignments and was actually planning on coming back to spend about another thousand dollars to get my girlfriends SUV’s tires replaced in the spring. Tom just kept saying not my problem and never heard me out. His mind was made up from the moment his son said “hey boss, we have a problem”. After confronting him on how aggravated and nasty he was being. He proceeded to flaunt how nice of a guy he was with every customer walking by us as we talked. Then he would turn to me and say “see, I’m nice to my customers”. Meanwhile I learned all I needed to learn about Tom’s character and how he runs his business in the first 5 minutes of interacting with him. I haven’t experienced an individual so rude, so nasty in my life. Someone so unaccountable for their own actions and so quick to accuse and dismiss those around them. Tom withstanding, I can’t emphasize how nice his family was at the front desk. Before this interaction I really believed I’d found a fantastic, honest, family owned business that I could see being my one stop shop for tires for my family for years to come. However, after my experience with Tom the owner of this business. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy and I wish the rest of his team all the best.

It does not get better than this. I have used Laurel Gardens tire Shop for almost 10 years now. At first it was the proximity to my residence, but even after I moved a few years ago, I went back because they have the best people (Ms Tina, Nate, Jay, …) who go above and beyond to provide a great service. They have never let me down. I drive a lot and swap all seasons and winter tires every year and they always come through for me in a timely fashion, despite the fact that I buy my tires online and not from them. I sometimes overhear their quotes to others while waiting and their prices are just as fantastic as their services. Hands down the best tire shop around. Oh, and the prices are also unbeatable. Ask around, you will find out what I know first hand:” they are the best”

PLEASE READ PRIOR TO MAKING AN APPOINTMENT!! You know those guys who take advantage of the customer who looks like they don't know better? That's these guys. On top of lying to get me into the shop to begin with they charged about 3 times more than the average place. If I would have know that before the work was done I would have 100% not went here. On top of this the people working were somewhat disrespectful giving attitudes when questions were asked, and this is after they finally decided to stop ignoring me while they were busy playing monopoly go on their phone. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

The gentleman are great here! They are very busy business and yes you're going to have to wait for their service. But time flies there. 3 hours went by didn't even feel like that with the Good vibes that are in house. This is the only place I will get my tires from.

Tom and Tina are great people. Service is excellent. Prices are fair. Office is clean. I had my dog with me and Tom said she could come in to waiting room. Not many businesses are that customer friendly. Highly recommend Laurel Gardens Tire.

I would rate them higher than 5 stars if I could! I was traveling and experienced an issue with our tires. I found their contact info and called them. From my first contact to my last contact I was treated like I was family. The owner himself went out of his way to help us and locate a hard to find set of tires for our truck. Customer service is outstanding at Laurel Gardens Tire. If you live in the North Hills of Pittsburgh there is no better place to get tire service! Thank You Tom for all of your help! God bless you and your business!

Great experience with these guys. I had originally gotten my tires from Discount Tire on 65. After about 2 years and 10 thousand miles (I don't drive a ton) I kept having to get air in one of my 4 tires. I took it to Discount with ultimately no resolution. I went to Laurel and everyone was very friendly. They explained everything before they did it and showed me what they were doing and why. They also told me the cost before starting the work. I highly recommend these guys.

I just got my winter wheels installed here. What great service from everyone involved. Tom's a great guy, genuinely listened to what I asked for, and didn't try to upsell or rip me off. It was my first time at Laurel Gardens Tire, but it seemed like they knew all of their customers. Just about everyone that walked in was greeted by name. The only drawback is they don't take reservations. It's first come first served, so you might need to wait a while. It was about a 2 hour wait for me, but the waiting area is clean and relatively comfortable. I was easily able to get some work done while waiting.

When I first moved to Pittsburgh the owner opened his doors to me and gave me a job right off the bat. He's a small town man living in a big city. He's always quick to help out a customer. Prices are pretty good. The quality of work is top notch.

Excellent! Family owned local business. Tom and staff understand customer service. Called and spoke with Tom to check availability of a specific tire. He didn’t try to up-sell me or question my decision. Called back later in afternoon and ordered the tires for next morning install. Tires arrived by 8. Install was quick ( ~ 1 hr) despite the place being slammed. Checked wheels and lug nuts for damage post install and everything looked good! Didn’t check if nuts were torqued to spec but will report back if any issues once I do. Bridgestone Dueler Revo 3 (265/70 16) on 13’ Tacoma. Great price and Excellent service.

Everyone is very friendly, always have goodies for the kids to keep them happy and quite! They are almost always done within half hour at the most. Prices are great! Also I didn't have a warranty on my tires and one pop because of a pot hole and I only had the tires a month. I went back and they said they would give me the tire at cost which was really nice of them to do. Definitely try this place, you'll love it!

I have always recommended them for tire service. They usually have the best prices around, everyone is friendly, and they do good work. I recently purchased new rims for my truck and already had tires. I called around to a few places for estimates and got estimates $50-$85 for only mounting and balancing tires, not installation, no sensors. When I called, I received a price of $5 per tire. It seemed a little bit too good to be true, but I went anyway. I had the tires mounted and balanced and I went to get the bill and the bill was $128.70! I told them that I called and I got a price of $5 per tire, and their response was that I had "custom" rims and they have to give a little bit more care to them. I mentioned when I called for the estimate I had aluminum rims. I wouldn't have minded paying a little bit more than $5 per tire, but that was ridiculous. I will give them credit in the fact that certain rims can require more care than others, but the price difference shouldn't be that high. JUST BEWARE AND KNOW HOW MUCH YOU ARE PAYING BEFORE THE WORK IS STARTED, EVEN IF YOU GET A PRICE ON THE PHONE, DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE THE WORK IS STARTED!

I've been using these guys for years and have never been disappointed. They are honest and helpful. Their prices on mounting and balancing are the lowest I've found. If the service you receive isn't what you expected, just speak with them and they'll make it right. You can even order tires to their location from online retailers and have them install them. I highly recommend using this business.
