Probably the easiest experience we've ve ever had. Very organized and clean dump site. Friendly staff. Remember to bring a hardhat though, we didn't know but they had two we could use at the time. I was impressed with how organized and clean a dump can be. Highly recommend. Will use again for sure.

This place is an absolute joke! Must be government run with all of the restrictions and limitations. Prices keep going up and up and up. Hours of operation have changed which resulted in a waste of my time. Final load used to be accepted at 4 PM. Now it’s 3:30?!?!?!? I pulled in at 3:50 so I’m driving around fully loaded, burning gas!! Maybe you should think about your customers and how conducive it is to their schedule. I’ll be looking for another place to offload in the future.

Girl was very rude burned my uncle and dad for over 500 pounds of scrap the girl running the scale robbed us. ill never go back there again i suggest nobody else go their either unless you wanna give away free scrap.

Michael Brothers is an excellent community resource if you have refuse/debris that the city/local garbage pickup will not take. Can't recommend them enough. Easy to get to, efficient operation to unload and get you on your way.

Staff is friendly. Facility is clean. I used to come here years ago to offload small amounts of construction debris. Didn't know that there is now a 100 dollar minimum. The lady at the scale house was kind enough to let me turn around and exit.

Michael Brothers recently removed a large piece of equipment from my business and did a fantastic job! Everything was done professionally, on schedule, and at a fair price. I definitely recommend them

6 out of the last 7 times I get a nail or screw in my tires. Workers standing around not running magnets not sweeping up nails. The concrete dumping area is covered with nails every time I'm there. Why can't you fix this problem. 1 time an idiot backs me into a pile of shingles. I pay you every week all year long to dump, treat your customers with some respect.

Really good experience. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Going to the dump is intimidating for me and they made it super easy.

Their service is really good, but I definitely miss the dumb stuff in Michigan’s upper Peninsula. They are free to go to. lol

I had scrap metal and some concrete to get rid of. Everyone was incredibly helpful even though I had no idea what I was doing as this was a first time experience for me. Grateful to have this place close by!

I had some broken furniture that was too big to put out with the trash so I took it here. The employees are friendly and directed me exactly where to go. There is a $95 minimum, but this was much cheaper than having the furniture hauled (and it likely would've ended up in the same place). Overall a quick and painless process.

This place works like a well oiled machine. I haul trash from my projects almost daily and this Is my top choice.

I had some old construction materials that needed disposed of. The folks here were very friendly and professional and it was very easy to know where to go for the scales and to get rid of the materials. Definitely recommend Michael Brothers to anyone trying to get rid of old refuse that the city or township will not take.

The Michael Brothers dump has improved immensely over the years. I pulled into today for the first time in many years and was stunned by its vastly improved appearance. The location is far cleaner than a dump, the transfer station is a complex center of trash sorting. The consumer has their loaded vehicle weighted upon entering the station. They are then directed to the unloading area and “given” safety gear if they need it. The customer unloads in the transfer area, this material is gathered and sorted by a crane and picking machine. Customers are very safe, after unloading customers exit the same way they entered, crossing the “bridge” your vehicle is weighted again and you pay the fee with a credit card. The station is busy but the employees are very friendly and helpful. Three cheers for The Michael Brother massive improvement to their Environmentally Friendly Transfer Station!

Friendly staff and clean facility. But beware, they close randomly without notice. Some Fridays they close at lunchtime and if you arrive after 4:15, they might not let you in. They are also maybe closed on Wednesdays.

My company goes to Michael Brothers to dump and it is great. They charge by weight and they take pretty much anything. They also sell two or three kinds of mulch, soil, and 2B and 2A limestone. You can also recycle glass and metal and they are accessible on the road 24/7.
Once you get there you cross a "bridge" which is a scale, then there are guys directing you to the right place to dump and then you leave the same way you got in paying at the exit. Quick and easy, in and out. We've worked in WV and other surrounding states and we couldn't find places like Michael Brothers.Aug 07, 2023 -
This is the nicest dump I’ve ever been to. These guys are nice, efficient, helpful. Minimum load cost is $80 ands it’s clear they’re investing that back in improving the space and services.

Not only have their prices increased but now they require you to wear a safety vest and a hard hat to unload trash from your pickup truck. This is overreach at its finest. Just take the trash home and burn it.

Very friendly. If your trailer is registered over 10k gvwr or any truck over 17.5k (I think)gvwr they require u to have a dep card. I was turned away along with other ppl including a big uhaul truck. Never had an issue at any other place. I'm just putting this other there because it might save someone a wasted trip. But like I said very friendly and nice. I wish this info was on their website.

I've been bringing remodeling debris here for 15+ years, well before Michael Brothers took ownership. Since MB took over, there has been a steady stream of improvements to the facility, making it easier to use. They've added new scales, paved and improved the dump/drop area, moved/enlarged the entrance, and there's always staff nearby to help direct you where to go.
In addition to debris, I have brought loads of green waste (grass/leaves/clippings) and fill (masonry rubble, soil w rocks, concrete debris, etc), which are billed at a cheaper rate than general waste. they now have bulk topsoil, mulch, and gravel/crushed stone for sale on the way out as well.
Don't get me wrong - I miss the old days - owned by a cranky old guy who would mumble vague directions and then scold you for questioning the arbitrary price he assigned to your load based on 'a hunch'... but you had to have thick skin to venture past the gate. He didn't believe in signage. He was quick to help pull you out of the mud if you got your vehicle stuck, but didn't want to bother putting down gravel.
The Michael Brothers setup is much more accessible, and gets people in and out quicker and easier. pretty much everywhere has gravel/hard-pack 'roads', with cones and basic signs/directions... very little chance of getting stuck here these days.
Prices are comparable/competitive with other dumps I've used (in mckees rocks) (and much easier to get to, from East End of the city! )Aug 20, 2022 -
Today I used Reserve Park Transfer Station to dispose of my deck I just tore out.
Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful especially since I didn’t know how it worked. Thank you!
The rates were very reasonable and I’d highly recommend their facility. It was clean, straightforward, and painless.Aug 07, 2022 -
Let me start off by saying thank you Bob! He always provides excellent customer service and he is very knowledgeable on prices and services! This has been my preferred dump site and I just wanted to take the time to thank Bob for his kind and helpful customer service each and every time!

Clearly says they're open until 5 online. I drove 30 mins with a full dump truck to dump. I arrived at 4:37pm and was met with major attitude by the unpleasant heavy guy working the scale. He told me the scale closes at 430 (as if I should know that... It does not state that you have to be there by 430 online) and that I can come back tomorrow if I want.... I said it said 5pm online and I'm only 5 minutes late, you can't just let me dump? He said "No" with a bad attitude. As a business owner myself, I know this is not how you act towards customers. You should take responsibility for not stating it clearly online and be a decent person and let me dump (takes 2 minutes to dump).
Totally unacceptableApr 25, 2022 -
Customer service was great and unloading process was fast and easy.
Only gets 3 stars because $80 to dump a vanload of stuff seems like a bit of a ripoff. Rates like that actively discourage people from properly disposing of their waste.Apr 25, 2022 -
2 price increases this year. Now $20 ton higher than competition. I dump 10 tons a week. That's $9600 year difference. Bye bye from a 3 year client.
Update - I dump under my company name so how would you have been able to look at my records?
I have over 50 receipts sitting right in front of me from you guys.
Your beginning to act like a big corporation rather than the small business we used to love. You only offer a discount after I stop coming? Nuts!Jul 13, 2019 -
Easy access and friendly people. In the middle of a large remodel and this place makes life so much easier. Those of you who have had to use the very unfriendly and unresponsive bagster people will appreciate this place to no end.

Friendly helpful staff. Cost was relatively low compared to other dumps. Hard to get to in the giant haul I had driven once as you need to drive through winding narrow roads. Other than that it was pretty good. Surprisingly clean and not too stinky. Have used multiple times and would recommend.
