We have been here a few times for inspections over the years, as well as needing repairs for bearings, brakes and rotors. They are ALWAYS so kind and courteous, and their pricing is always reasonable.
I would trust sending anyone to them for work, and we definitely will return anytime we might need them in the future.

Took my son's 2012 Nissan and after visiting another local mechanic on Babcock Blvd and was quoted 1500. Rich was able to get us in the VERY next day and was able to repair the part and NOT replace saving us basically HALF!!!
Very honest and was NOT trying to make a quick buck!!!

Richard and Brandon are awesome! Thought I was having issues with my controls arms but come to find out it was just my sway bar end links. They were able to diagnose my car and get service done in the same day. Very honest guys. Appreciate them a lot. Will definitely recommend and come here for future services.

Highly recommend. I was in a pinch to get a PA inspection, my stickers had expired. Rich got me in without an appointment. Did not try to upsell any services after inspecting my car. Polite service and clean waiting area. Great experience.

Quick shout out and appreciation post to McKnight Auto Service at 4846 McKnight Rd.
Had an exhaust tail pipe head rust off of my Murano. Brought it to Wright Nissan and they quoted 2500$+ and noted several other things that it “needed.” Wright had my car for 3 whole days for one estimate.
Called McKnight Auto Service and spoke with Rich. Brought my car in on Monday.
Gave them my estimate from Wright with notations of other alleged services needed.
He inspected the car - the control arms were good - the motor mount is fine. Two things Wright said were needed.
He got me a great deal on the entire exhaust. I paid 2285$ out the door. It was ready by EOB same day.
**I called Meineke just to make sure of the cost and they quoted 2500$ as well.**
I will be bringing my cars to Rich and McKnight Auto Service from here on out.

McKnight Auto Service is exactly what you should look for in a service shop. Brandon was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional during every second of my visit. He personally completed all the paperwork and physically performed the services I needed himself, admittedly much faster than I expected but with top notch quality. I was genuinely impressed when I left, and I can confidently say their high ratings are well-deserved. I rarely write reviews on places I visit, but this is a different case! I will purposefully go out of my way to use McKnight again in the future for my vehicle repair needs. I can’t recommend them enough.
Brandon, Bruce and Rich are the guys I've gone to for the past 13 years for any problem I've had with my car, along with inspections. If they can't fix the problem themselves, they've got a trusted person to send me to. They don't cheat customers, talk down to them or ignore their questions. Rates are extremely fair and completed expediently (if there's a bay available of course-they're always busy!!)
I needed an inspection and my friend recommended this place. Brandon was awesome! Very polite and engaging. I would return solely based on his service. (Just so you know, it is first come/first serve for inspections.)
What a great place to take your car to get looked at! Everyone was very nice and professional. They helped me with all of my car problems and explained to me what was wrong with it. They fixed it very quickly too! I will definitely come back!
Great experience at this place. Called the morning of to see if they could take care of my car. They took my car that morning found out I needed two new front tires, they put them on for me and I had my inspection done as well all before 1 pm. I would definitely recommend this shop for any of your car needs. Great guys, quick, efficient and good prices.
They are honest. I went there for the first time for a state inspection. They tell you what you have, what the minimum is to be legal, and roughly how much time you have before the part will probably need replaced. Much better than most of the chain shops out there who can’t wait tell you what product or service you need to buy from them immediately. We all know that feeling you get when you’re driving away feeling like you just got duped. I don’t think you’ll get that here.
Terrible. I went to the jiffy lube next door and was told I needed front breaks but they couldn't get to it that day. They quoted me $190. I decided to ask this place because they share a parking lot. Some guy named Rich looked at the car and said it would be $800 for front breaks and recutting the rotors". Avoid this shady garage!
The guys here are great! I trust them because they are honest and will tell you what you need, not what they want to sell you.

I have been going there for 20 years since they were the Texaco station across the road where Chipolte is now. They are very honest and trustworthy. I don't remember ever having to bring the car back after a repair. I also like that they are honest and will let you know if something is still under warranty or something outside of their expertise.
I went there for emission test and state inspection. I don't know the names but all the three guys I faced were courteous and helpful. The highlight of this service station is their honesty. They won't try to sell you unnecessary services.

I've been taking my vehicles (both foreign and domestic) there for forever. They are honest and do good work. Most repairs I've had done have been at about going rate. One repair was I had done was more than I thought it should be but then again, it wasn't my knuckles that got rapped.
I tend to do my own repairs, and sometimes run across the bolt that will just not budge...they put the car on the lift and budged it, and sent me on my way. Not many places will do that.
I was down in Pittsburgh buying a used car and needed to get it looked at before I bought it. I chose them because they were close to the sellers house. These guys were great very friendly, very knowledgeable, and gave great help. If I lived near Pittsburgh I would take my car to them regularly without any hesitation.
