Love this place! I'm always finding cool items that give me great ideas for using old materials in new ways. Also love the events like Repair Cafe where volunteers are there to help fix my stuff :)

I usually love this store and have shopped here frequently. Today was disappointing. I took three hours off work to come purchase a door. I’m 38 weeks pregnant and asked if someone could help load the door into my car. I was told no. They were happy to help unload my donation (and others), but wouldn’t assist with loading my purchase. That inconsistency was frustrating, especially given the circumstances. I expected better customer service.

What a cool place. I highly recommend going to Construction Junction to begin any household project. In the back, there is also common thrift store items, like dishes and clothes!

Wide variety of of everything you need to fix your house. The attic section has a great selection to look through.

A great place to find reclaimed materials. A creative builder's treasure trove. Checking out the toilet aisle is a must.

I’m renovating a home that’s over 100 years old and have found everything I needed to replace, to match the specific time period, at CJ. I had broken door knobs, chewed up trim and doors (from a dog), missing glass fan light covers…they had everything I needed to replace it and bring it back to life again! I even built a large walk-in closet with vintage solid wood doors from supplies I got at CJ! Everyone is super helpful there too! If u are having trouble finding a specific construction part…can’t find at the big box stores or too expensive…take a ride to Construction Junction! Photos to come….

Love this place. Great for that DIY project you've got going. Bought a number of fixtures, newel post, mini kitchen, door slabs, teak sauna door, aqua blocks, the possibilities are endless. Staff is helpful and friendly. Great artisans items, made with reclaimed stuff, is a nice option.

I love this store. I rarely end up making a purchase, it’s just so eclectic, but I will be back

Place has gotten too pricey. You used to be able to go in and get great deals on many household items now they are close to store prices

Construction Junction is the place for recycled building materials. They have all the bits and pieces removed from both old and modern homes. From knobs and pulls to windows and doors, appliances and cabinets to bathroom fixtures, and hard to find antique fireplace accessories like covers and heater conversions. They even mill old hardwood beams and barn wood this is a woodworking dream come true. Whether your restoring an older home or just looking for something special it's worth a trip to Construction Junction. Every turn of an aisle will bring something interesting to view and even if you leave with nothing it will be time well spent.

I went in looking for supplies to build a Little Free Pantry for my yard. The staff was super helpful and the manager told me anything I wanted for the project would be free. I'm extremely greatful and wish I could give more stars.

If youre an outdoor of box thinker who builds, creates or fixes stuff, youll love this place. Interesting and diverse, they even have clothing now.

Definitely will keep coming back. Moving in from CA, this was the best place to buy affordable materials to fix up and supply my house with here in Pittsburg. Amazing staff, and really useful $5 storage.

Drove by Construction Junction in the Point Breeze area of Pittsburgh, and decided to go in. I spent some time there looking around, maybe just 15 minutes. I think it's great they are looking to recycle materials, but the prices were insane. $45 for a post that held up a porch or something that is on the way to rot. Toilets are like $60+ and some pieces of furniture for a few hundred. Upon leaving I realized that they have price slashes depending on when something was marked. So they seem to mark the stuff when it comes in with the month. Which is definitely cool! I took another look with that in mind, but there wasn't a ton of older stuff to be seen with a 5 minute look I returned in for. I would go back for certain things, and I realize the goal is to recycle, but the prices seemed a little rough. I'm interested to see and understand the things they sell best.

The store is nice, very warehouse - more of a needle in a haystack type thing if you’re just looking for home decoration, but if you’re building something, it seems great. They have a great selection of furniture for sale at really excellent prices. Lots of lamps and lighting. Some tools for sale at good prices too. Free parking, restrooms available, wheelchair accessible.

I didn't get to browse as much as I'd have liked, but this place is like a candy store, but for artists who need that special something to make your work pop, without having to sell a kidney. I love the fact that they accept donations; how many times have you bought something you thought you'd love, and you just... Didn't? Donate it. These guys do a lot for the community, and have chest artists who teach new skills, all kinds of awesome stuff to look through, and best of all: super reasonable pricing. I had an online order, but I'll be going back at around 12:30 (from 11-12, you can shop, but you'll need to wear a mask because it's a special time for immunocompromised artists to safely get their shop on!

It was good. I took a few things I was selling there on face book, that wouldn't sell a lot of inquiries, but no sales, so I took it to Construction junction to get rid of it because I have no use or no need for it in the shop and it was taking up too much space. The items I took their are posted on facebook under bellas beautique on marketplace on facebook.

Construction Junction is an awesome store that sells so many useful construction items. I love how they repurpose so many things that otherwise might be discarded! They have so many selections for wood, doors, wooden furniture, light fixtures, tile, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and so much more. They even have windows and one or two garage doors as well as tools and hardware. If you need it, construction junction probably has it!

I have driven pass this place countless times over the years and had been meaning to stop by but never did. I ended here helping a friend work an event so I didn't really get to explore much but it seemed like a hidden gem from what I did see. I will be back soon

One of the first places we visited when moving to Pittsburgh. Love browsing the variety of selections! Extremely affordable prices too.

This place is amazing! They have everything - tools, construction supplies, furniture. When I was there they had a revolving door! Cabinets, doors, countertops, moulding, fireplace doors, hinges, knobs. Plus church pews, chairs, tables, stainless steel sinks. I could go on and on, but you need to go for yourself and see this place. Even if you don't need anything, you will still find something you can use and want to buy. The store is clean and organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Love this this place!!

If you work in construction in the Pgh area you already know about CJ's. For those of you who don't do construction, this place is full of difficult to find odds and ends to spruce up an older house without removing its old school charm. It's full of neat antiques, and if you're lucky, some really niche appliance. They had several kimchi fridges and clothing steamer/cleaning machine for your nice clothes. It's probably my favorite place to get lost in. They also do recycling dumpsters for people who live in areas where there is no recycling. The staff are always helpful and willing to assist. They'll share what they know and happily tell you when they don't know. It is an industrial warehouse, so it isn't clean or always easy to maneuver around. Anyone with mobility restrictions should proceed with caution.

First of all, let me say that the concept behind this place is amazing. We love going here to see what we can purchase to build. I love to tinker weld. I buy parts and pieces and make things. They have a ton of awesome items to buy. From toilets, doors, windows, wood, baseboards, tile, cabinets etc. The last thing I purchased was commercial grade soffit. I only paid $15 for a whole box. It would have cost me about $180 at a supply store. I'll post pictures of my projects for you. GREAT PLACE!!

This location has what you need and things you didn't even know you needed. They are extremely organized, and the artwork is amazing. When you visit, don't forget to look up and enjoy the knock knock jokes on the doors, massive recycled can Fish, and others! See if you can figure out what the biggest artwork on the front of the building resembles! HIGHLY Recommended!

Super cool place to find used construction materials. Doors, cabinets, sinks, toilets, flooring, furniture, lighting and more. Much of it is a little dated but can be easily repurposed if you have a knack for that and can see what it can become with a little effort. Several boxed items or gently used as well. Very well organized with a unique vibe, which is evident in some of my pics. The fact that all of these items are being repurposed and/or recycled is a big plus.

Construction junction is a great place to find used building supplies, cabinets, light fixtures, tile, doors and so much more. If your updating your own home it is a great place to donate your old furnishings. They also have several dumpsters for recycling. They have a dumpsters for glass, paper, plastic and metal.
