Why is the senior discount 65, hell that dam near dead age especially for some donated stuff. I never donate to them, when I turn 65 I’ll start donating if I’m not in a HOME FIRST.🤷🏾♂️🤣🤣

Depending on who you get when you drop items off, they may attempt to pick over items, only taking the items that will sell for the most while telling you they do not accept items they already sell in the store. Better off donating at Goodwill or St. Vincent de Paul or another reuse store.

Kayla and Mishila assisted me today at the Restore in Cheviot both of the ladies were super kind and super helpful. The store had a great variety of things that I didn’t even know they carried so I felt like I locked up on a lot of good items recently priced.

There used to be great deals here but sadly Inflation pricing has also hit this place. Many items it's cheaper just to go to Lowes or depot, especially appliances. Plus the place wreaks of stale cigarettes

THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE ON USED ITEMS. I went today and I couldn’t believe what I saw. They have the highest store at this location I have ever seen. Other locations are great priced. But this particular location highly overpriced . I’ve been ever where in the city shopping used goods. And they are extremely expensive. I went today 10/29/2024 . I won’t be going back!! Also I didn’t purchase anything

I found an awesome hutch for my tiny kitchen. It's actually an entertainment center I think, but it is perfect to use in my kitchen!

Decent selection of furniture. More new items than I typically like to see in a thrift store. Staff were friendly. Good spot if you’re in the building or interior design trades.

After attempting to donate today, I will NEVER waste my time here again. We have several brand new, top of the line, never used lighting fixtures that they would not accept. This has happened the last few times I've been here. I've brought quality items in excellent condition, the SAME items that I have seen for sale inside the store and was rejected. The manager has a condescending, snippy attitude and another guy that works there looks like he's too lazy to process a donation. The staff seems to spend more time smoking outside and babbling than working. Much easier to go next door to Goodwill, or to St. Vincent de Paul and get my receipt there. They take everything quickly. One star is too many for this place.

Who prices the used appliances. These are priced like new stuff. Better off going to appliance stores for a warranty and better prices. this place has no warranty
Jan 13, 2024 -
Some of the stuff, especially the non-used stuff, is way over priced. People that come to stores like that come to get deals, not to pay almost as much as if it were brand new when it isn't or just barely getting it at a discount at all

I just found me a really nice cabinet!!! I love it and the price was very reasonable..I’d recommend stopping in too see what they have 🥰

Items priced from original store that donated are cheaper than restore prices. In some cases as much as 200%. When I asked to pay the lesser price that was clearly marked i was laughed at and told i didnt have to buy it. Very disappointing since they claim fraction of the price to help the community. Just another goodwill scam. Profit is king even with habitat for inhumanity!

I was shocked at the high prices! I have shopped at two other locations for a few years now and I've always been very happy with the selection and prices. This location is crazy if they think they can charge retail prices or higher for used items! 1.5" PVC couplings that I just paid $1.50 to $3.50 for were all $5. $10-15 for a single used osb cabinet door that I can get for $2 at the Cincinnati Re-use Center. I really liked a pair of blackout curtains but they were $27.50. I just saw these new at Costco for $27.99! $150 for a broken particle board cabinet piece. I kept looking for a half off sign but NO those prices were real. Other than the cashier I never saw another employee, few prices on items and a very small store. I recommend avoiding this location.

I love this place! They always have some beautiful pieces and everyone who works here is really helpful and friendly :) They also make it very easy and manageable to pick up your larger purchases. Highly recommend!

You just never know what great finds could be there ... That's why I love this place. The Staff is super friendly too! I was back there again today August 2nd 2022 and I found the greatest stuff at a very reasonable price. I'm bummed because I asked if they were hiring and they said no I really think I'd like to work there...

Lots of great furniture, cabinets and almost anything you need to furnish a home. Lighting, dining sets, stools, file cabinets... couchs, chairs, bed frames, flooring... Many many items

Terrible management. Update: went back to give the store a second chance and everything is SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than literally any other habitat location. Idk what's up with this manager but when I brought it up for possible price matches she just walked away from me. Great leadership 🙄

Had a donation pick up scheduled for a used bedroom set cheviot location had me sit it on the curb and refused collection due to scratches showing wear. A set that could’ve clearly helped someone in need and could’ve also not wasted my time having someone carry it to the curb for collection and now have to call someone to bring it back inside

I don’t know if they changed management or what, but my most recent experience was very bad. I loaded boxes of flooring on my cart because they were marked $5 per box, then the manager comes by, rips off the stickers and tells me they are 15. I put them back and she complained that they looked untidy. I told her she was free to arrange them how she liked and moved on. I loaded up some 1 inch dirty old pvc to use as a conduit for some wire because based on the chart I figured they were either $1 or $3. ($1 for small $3 for medium $5 for large) I get up there and they tell me $5. I told them to keep them then and left, frustrated by my experience. The cashier sneered at me on my way out and snottily said I could at least put them back. They really don’t care about their customers anymore. I won’t be coming back to this location for sure. All their used old stuff was way overpriced, and if you do find a good deal they aren’t shy about changing their price on you.

I went to the location on Northbend and wasn't impressed. The furniture is severely over prices. I saw a small table i wanted to put on my porch but it was $100.00. Then i saw matching dressers which was $525.00 each lol and it wasn't even real wood. They were pretty but not 500 pretty. For those prices you might as well buy brand new.

This rating is really good considering 🤔. Prices higher than box outlet stores and told me no help to load bulky items. I get that proceeds help somewhere but really these items are used and donated and prices don't reflect that. Buyer beware that some items aren't a good deal at all and way over paying 🙄and others are just knowing that you are helping a good cause 👍

Cheviot store would not honor the pricing on their tile flooring. Sign posted read tile flooring $10 per box, I asked an associate if this was correct and he said yes. Went to check out the cashier said they were $15 per box. Went back to show another associate the sign, she said the sign should not still be posted but would let us have them for $10. The cashier told us no, all the tile flooring was $15 and has never been $10. Granted $15 is still a great price, it was the principle that the cashier made us feel we were trying to be dishonest and our intent was to rip them off. We left without purchasing anything and will not return to this location.

I love going here. Sometimes I just go to browse and sometimes I go to look for something specific. In a store like this, looking for a specific item is always hit or miss. BUT, 2 or 3 times I have found just the very thing I was looking for and they were new instead of used! The last time that happened, we saved ourselves over $500 in lieu of going to Lowes or Home Depot.

Bottom line: NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT. Over-priced. Habitat for humanity is a charity. The people who REALLY need the lower prices that should be offered are getting gouged by a charity!!! This particular location seems to be the culprit as the other spots have better pricing. The other stores also don't allow the employees to stand around doing nothing. This review only lends blame to the way they manage this particular CHARITY store. Come on! Do better!

Habitat for Humanity in Cheviot is a great place to shop. They have great inventory of new and used cabinets, flooring, appliances, home goods, furniture, hardware and paint supplies, lighting, doors and much more. Great prices!. Friendly staff, very helpful.

Horrible experience...waited 10 minutes for the one cashier to finish with one customer ahead of me, other employees standing, chatting. My item wasn't priced, she went to ask the "chatters", came back with twice H. Depot's! No need to go back there!

We were purchasing over a hundred doors for a project there and one of the employee's told us to stack the doors on one side of the store. A volunteer who works at the store came out the back and screamed at the person that was with me to "put the doors back where he got them" then when my friend, who is from a foreign county tried to explain to him that we were buying the doors and that the other employee had told us to stack the doors up , the volunteer screamed "I don't care what he told you, I said put them back , do you understand English." I would not recommend this store to any one.

This store is very organized and easy to shop. The drop off was great and very fast. But it has very high prices compared to the other ReStores in Cincinnati. They do not have sale days or specials.

A friend told us about this place when we got our home ,it needed just about anything and the restore had it I would take a trip to one of the locations almost every weekend I found so many great deals that I still find myself going once a month to find something else that would complement our home. Everyone was very nice and helpful, we were not able to buy everything new and this place is a great way to find what you need with out paying an arm and a leg! !!!!! very nice stuff ,and some new stuff to! !!!
