I am so thankful for Pedro Ortiz from Gates Towing Service and Fleet. I was having so many issues with my Mercedes Benz for days. My father, brother and a cousin attempted to figure out why we couldn’t get the car started to no avail. It wouldn’t start and we were unable to move it off of the city’s street, who slapped me with a parking ticket as a gift on Valentine’s Day. But Pedro came did his magic and was able to start the vehicle. Pedro was also very informative! I am grateful Pedro and his dedicated work! Thank you! 😊

Pedro Ortiz was very friendly and approachable. He was all smiles, beaming as he came up and shook my hand. Even from our initial phone conversations, it was a pleasure to speak with him, as he was courteous and knowledgeable. Though this was not in his job description, he took the time to open the hood of the car and explain everything I had questions about, naming the parts of the car and walking me through everything he was doing. Mr. Ortiz also made sure to communicate when he was en route and when he had dropped of the car, taking a picture of where he had parked the vehicle so that there was no guesswork that left me wondering where he was or if my car had made it. This is a man who takes pride in his work and loves what he does for a living; he went above and beyond to brighten my day. Can't recommend his services enough!!!!

Had a flat tire for the first time at 5am and Pedro Ortiz came to the rescue! I didn’t have a spare tire in the back so he helped tow my car and let me sit in Ruby (best truck ever) on the way to the repair shop. Pedro also explained what the process would look like and also gave suggestions on what to do in the future especially since I didn’t have much prior knowledge about cars. Bummer I couldn’t get a crash course on changing a tire since he would’ve been the best teacher for that! Biggest thank you to Pedro for making a terrible start to the morning a much better day and for going truly above and beyond, this experience really set the bar high for any future towing experiences that I hopefully will not need — and if I do, I know I will be contacting Gates again. :)

Pedro Ortiz is the man! He was very thorough and careful with my car. I was not worried for one second that there would be damage getting the car onto the truck. He took a second before leaving to show me his customized setup in the truck he drives, it was very clean and professional. He was extremely nice to work with and I’d be happy to have him again if I ever needed services!

Pedro Ortiz helped me with my towing. He is very knowledgeable about cars and took care of it while getting it onto the bed. The truck he used was great for my lowered car and he uses straps that protect the wheels as well. He was great to talk to on my ride to the service center and even provided snacks as well. If I ever needed a tow again I know who to call!

When you got a tow on the way, it's usually not the best day, but when I received the call from Pedro Ortiz - negativity left on the curb and nothing but smiles to the toe location. Pedro picked up myself and my down vehicle from Pottsford and got me to Canandaigua safely, comfortably and with nothing but smiles. Besides a great employee - you e got a great human on your team that cares about people. I've only been towed twice in my life and my ride in "Ruby" was 1st class. I don't believe my first town was with Gates towing, nor do I know anyone in this business personally but Pedro treated me like a friend in need. Thanks! Sincerely!!

I had a great experience with Pedro Ortiz. He was very informative and prompt when I needed a tow after I blew out a tire. Without knowing that I was having a mental breakdown due to several incidents involving my car, he still took the time to offer words of affirmation and encouragement, which truly meant a lot to me. He also notified me when he arrived at my vehicle and sent pictures once it was dropped off, which I really appreciated. Josh from Gates Towing was efficient, respectful and on time!!! He helped me get into my vehicle (since I didn't have the keys) and get it towed to the dealership. He made this a quick and painless interaction. He even answered some questions my 10yr and 4 yr had lol they're the 20 questions 😂 kids

Pedro Ortiz, was excellent to work with and was extremely friendly. This is the best experience ive ever had getting a tow. He came to pick up my bmw in about 10 minutes, and made sure to take special care of my car. He went above and beyond communicating with me and made sure i was fully taken care of. I was stranded on the side of the road and feeling pretty stressed, but Pedro showed up quickly, with a great attitude, and treated me with absolute kindness and professionalism.
