I picked up a load from this location, and the commodity completely ruined my trailer. Oil spilled throughout the inside, and some areas were damaged.
I informed the broker about this issue, and they only covered the washout charges. Because of this situation, I’m unable to take any other pickups today, and this shipment has completely disrupted my weekly schedule. Don’t come to this place by additional $500 for accessorial charges.
I've been to both yards even though carren street is the main yard I use they both are equally awesome the staff is always there to help they are always kind and friendly once they get to know you they treat you like family and they are all honest and they do their best to give you the highest price they are able to do it's the only place I will.go
A manager just rejected my 110lbs of short steel because it wasn't enough and wanted to down grade my material to tin the material was a transmission jack solid steel everywhere this was after a different employee told me I would get short steel if I took off the hydraulic cylinder brought 110 lbs of steel here twice trying to get a fair deal don't think I will be bringing them anything but Tin from now on.
Worst place for pickup, take forever to load and give paperwork, they don’t know how to load cuz they put 37k on drive wheel even my tandem is all way to front.
Nice facility, nice employees. Gave me a pretty good price on some catalytic converters.
They also gave me "points" for the transaction and you can buy items out of their catelog with it which is cool.
Don't go here or call here! Just called to get a rate for scrapping steel and got nothing but attitude. it took a good 10 full irritating minutes for them to tell me what their rate is.
I called to have my mom's junk car removed from her house. I spoke with a woman whose name I never got, nor did I ask for it and I wish I had. Because of the experience that I had with her, I had to leave a review. I explained the situation and then she explained that they hadn't done that in almost 15 years. I had to laugh and told her that Google has her grouped in with the other salvage companies that do! Lol The average person would have probably taken me the wrong way and flipped script. She had quite a laugh with me at that point and actually apologized for not knowing who to call.
Long and the short... No junk cars taken but the service and the people are amazing!!!! Thanks for your kindness and the laughs.
As far as the removal goes, I called All City Auto Parts! Two great companies and two awesome experiences.
You will certainly get ripped off. This place doesn't give you anywhere close to the national average for scrap and they will give you some serious attitude if ever inquire why. They also cheat you on the sorting process. Do yourself a favor and bring your business elsewhere.
Condescending attitude. Talked to multiple people and they all gave a different answer on how to sort things and then acted like I was the one who didn't know what I was talking about. Overall experience was terrible!
Not too impressed with one of your rolloffs today doing a uturn from the shoulder of the highway at the Victor toll plaza with blatant disregard for traffic coming down the road.
